breezy, flora, and pyro were let out of the cage in solid form and they lunged at the nearest shadow, one of a shelf. it disappeared and the hungry shadows growled as their bellies weren't filled by the mindless shadow. they needed a shadow of something living or they would have to resort to merging again. merging was not fun. something shoved them back in to the cage and they piled on top of eachother to sleep

Athena was laying down tapping her paws on the bottom of the cage impatiently.

the march hare accidentally crashed into one cage and made it crack, everyone could hear that

the triplet shadows huddle together, they mutter to quetly for anyone else to hear,
flora:"if we change to shadow form next time we get out we surely could eat something before they push us back in here!"
"yah." agreed pyro.
"i don't know that sounds a little risky..."whimpered breezy.
flora glared at him and said "why are you always so scared of everything. your a shadow you can't get hurt."
breezy's shadowy tail spiked out and bristled angrily "i am not"

he sighed and let it go.

Flare put her wings back in and went to snow and booped her noes.

"OWW THAT HURTS" snow yipped and hit flare with a ice ball sending her back a bit.

Vixen was excited. She ran around the room, looking at the physical training thingamabobs. She was eager to use her wings, but the metal cord stopped her and her weak wings barely ever got close to breaking it. She ran around the bars and jumped over the things she could jump over. Vixen hadn't flown in a long time, causing her wings to be weak.

the shadow triplets banged against the side of the cage but the shadow technology prevented them from exciting it. they banged as hard as they could trying to make a lot of noise

flora yowled, breezy shook the cage, and pyro sent harmless shadow flames out the sides of the cage in frustration. all three of them were starving due to a lack of food.

Athena was getting pretty annoyed at the three shadows in the cage next to her so she yowled, "can someone get them some food!?"

"I've learned to like it like it here, I don't think I'll escape anytime soon." Vixen said, spreading out her wings. She started to fly around bars, swings, and in circles. She landed on a the highest swing, and hung upside down. She fell, though, but regained her flight while fallling. She landed on the ground and did a victory pose.

1-0 heard the shadows yowling. She told Vixen to behave and left the room. She then put a tall peice of cardboard in the shadow's cage and propped it up against the wall so it had a long shadow. Then 1-0 went back to watch Vixen.

Vixen decided to try out tricks while flying. She flew in the air, did a half circle, and ran into the ground. She got up, flew higher, and did a circle that had squiggles in it's line. She then tried flying using one wing. She flew herself into the ground, got up, and decided to go on the swing for a bit.
( Might create Vixen a cellmate soon ;) )

the famished shadows practicly inhaled the shadow and then when there was about half of it was left they were too full and fell asleep on top of each other in a pile. Athena propped up a piece of cardboard she had stolen last time she was let out. she propped it up the way 1-0 had and started to eat the shadow. she was full before she knew it. oh wow, I didn't know cardboard was that filling. ill have to keep that in mind and went to sleep

when Athena woke up flora breezy and pyro were playing together. breezy had apparently figured out how to mold his form because he now had wings and was zooming around the small space. flora had gotten it down too and made petally wings while pyro had made fiery wings. all three of them flying around in the one tiny cage made for bumping into things, and when they did it caused quite a racket. Athena growled irratadidly before putting her paws back over her nose and wrapping herself with her tail. she fell back asleep. the triplet shadows were still zooming around and then breezy yelled "1-0! come here!"
"1-0 we want to fly around its too small in here! just let us fly around! we keep bumping in to stuff in here" they all made puppy dog faces at 1-0.

Athena chuckled and ate a little more of the cardboard shadow

"Until we find avway to contain shadows without them eating us, no." 1-0 said. She knew they were going to escape. New test subjects always tried this on her, and it never worked. 1-0 had no emotions to manipulate whatsoever, so she could never be fooled by puppy eyes.
