Short and sweet version.
All good (?) things come to an end - so does my being a moderator on here. Adios, amigos!
Long version.
Yes, yes, I am retiring. Let me tell you a bit about my reasons and stuff. (In case there even is someone out there who cares idk.)
Well.
To be honest, it wasn't an easy decision; I actually spent quite some time pondering over whether or not I should - yes, should - quit the moderating job. I wanted to, for various - mostly personal - reasons, but I wasn't sure about possible consequences of my retiring. And no, I'm not saying that because I think of myself as some kind of uber-mod or anything - that's so not what I mean here - but more like .. I know just how hard this job is on everyone involved and one mod less means more work for the remaining ones. Doesn't take a genius to do that kind of math here. :'>
However, with the recently promoted mods (ahhh, our babies sure grew up, I'm so proud of you guys ♥) some qualified helping hands have been added to the mod staff, so I think I can actually retire with a clear conscience. ` A´)9
Because, yeah, three years of modding definitely have been enough on my nerves. I really liked doing the job, liked helping you whenever I could and all that stuff. But, I'm not gonna lie here, sometimes you guys made it really hard not to simply rage quit. :'P But oh well, I knew what I was applying for, so there's that. Either way, this 'era' has now come to an end.
With this being said, thanks to every single one of you who took the time to spare some nice words, send me plushies or gift me stuff. Thank you. I know that quite a lot of you did it as some kind of thank you for my modding work and I really, really appreciated every single second you spent on thanking me - in one way or another - believe me. You guys made all of this worth it.
So yeah. I'm not gonna disappear or anything, so you'll still see me lurking around
Whatever.
