X went around the bodies and looted all the bullion he could find.
X walked over to Fredrick and gave him most of the bullion he found. "This will probably help the camp" X said after giving Fredrick the bullion and went to his tent.

Colin woke up the next day to a face full of red hair, as usual, even though it's happened every morning for the past 2 years, he never got sick of it. He slipped out of bed and got dressed and began to pack up the things to fold down the tent. It was rather handy, everything in the tent folded town and rolled up. The more fragile stuff was take by the shepherds themselves, But that consisted of very little of their belongings. "Good morning." Cordelia said, stretching. "Good morning to you too." Colin replied. He continued packing their things. Cordelia snuck up behind him and whispered something. He turned around and kissed her. Colin looked at the tent flap. "What is it?" Cordelia asked. "This is usually the time Frederick or someone bursts in the tent and interrupts us." Colin explained, and Cordelia giggled. "Well... now we're uninterrupted..." She started. "for the first time in a few months." Colin added. Cordelia tackled Colin to the bed. "Sir are you-" Cordelia let Colin up. "I knew it was to good to be true..." Colin muttered. Fredrick just stared for a momenet then said. "Milord would like you to finish packing, we leave in an hour." He said, then left. Colin let out a deep sigh. "Fredrick bursts in. Again." He said, then continued packing with the help of Cordelia.

X finished packing and went over to Lissa. "Hey thanks for healing us during the fight yesterday." He said. "I think you battled well too." Lissa said. "I'm glad you're safe." X said patting her on the back. "Well I have to do what I have to do." Lissa said blushing.
Chrom showed up and saw Lissa talking to X and pulled him away from her "I don't trust you around my sister, if you try anything like that I might just kick you out." Chrom said "I can't believe Colin let you join us" He said walking away

Forge limped through the camp to Colin's tent. His left leg was still bleeding. He was surprised that no one had bothered to check Chrom's tent to see if he was okay. He winced with every step, looking around at the Risen remains. He finally reached Colin's tent and pulled back the flap. "You miss me?" he asked. "Ahh... gods. Anyone know someone who can heal bone, muscle and skin all at the same time?" Forge asked. "Damn you, Johnson." he muttered. Then he looked at Colin. Had ever told him about Johnson? Story for another time. he thought.

X went to Colin's tent "Hey we're heading out soon right? Well I could scout ahead with some other people if you want and I could report back to you once I get back." X said standing near Colin's tent "If you think it's a good idea just come find me and tell me." He said walking away

Colin and Cordelia were packing, then heard X. "Hey, for once somoene was nice enough to not barge in." Colin said, then turned to Cordelia, when she said "And it happened to be the only time where we weren't doing something..." She paused. "Awkward." Colin finished, and Cordelia smirked. Colin headed to the tent flap. "Anyway, I should go tell him it's a good idea." He said. "We're almost done anyway." Cordelia said. Colin walked up to her and kissed her check. "Be right back." He walked out, to go find X.

~A Few Minutes Later~


Colin found X and Told him "I think it's good a good idea, but take Stahl, Sully and..." He thought a moment. "Lissa."

"Ok cool I'll head up with them to the port and while you guys are heading there we'll meet you guys and tell you what we saw after we've watched the port for a while." X said once Colin told him his teammates. "We'll get going right away" He said walking off to get the team. Once X got the team they headed out and X rode with Stahl and Lissa rode with Sully. After a while they reached the port and started watching the people and what they were doing. Lissa and X watched from the roofs while Sully and Stahl put on disguises and walked around the place.

The rest of the shepherds finished packing and then they took down their tents. "Oh, Father! Over here! Come with me a minute!" Morgan yelled from a little bit away from Colin. "What is it, Morgan?" He asked walking over. "Oh, nothing. Let's just take a walk, shall we? While we wait for X to come back? Right this way, Father!" She said. "You're acting very strange, Morgan." Colin observed. Allllmost... Just a couple more steps... Morgan thought. "...Huh? A pitfall? Now that's a classic!" Colin said, laughing a bit. "Dang! How did you know?! I was super careful in disguising it. It didn't look suspicious at all!" Morgan yelled. "True, your work on the pit is first class. But your odd behavior made it obvious. Subterfuge and misdirection are half of any good trap, Morgan." Colin explained. "Dang. I'll get you next time! By the way, as long as you're here, mind helping me fill this hole in? If someone fell in by accident, they could really hurt themselves." Morgan said. "Wait, how deep did you make it?!" Colin asked, scared.

While watching Stahl and Sully, X decided to talk to Lissa "Do you think your brother hates me?" He asked her. "No, he's just being over protective of me." Lissa replied "Oh yeah I remember Colin telling me that." X said "Well I am his only sister that's alive" Lissa said "Oh it must be hard for you to know that your sister is dead." X said looking down. "But hey it is something to fight for." He said patting her on the back. "Yeah it is." Lissa said looking at X "We should head back let's go get Stahl and Sully." X said getting up from the rooftop and jumping down and getting the two. They got back to the camp and X went to go find Colin. Once he found him he gave him the news. "The port is clear we should start heading there now with everyone else." He said

The shepherds started their march toward the port town, there they'd get in their ships and head to fight Valm's forces at sea.

X saw Valmese troops at the port when he was scouting ahead and ran back to the Shepherds that were on their way there "We've got Valmese troops at the port that weren't there before!" X said running back to the Shepherds
The Shepherds reached the port and saw the Valmese troops

Forge saw the Vlamese troops and looked into his bag. The first thing that hit him was a note.

Not that easy to kill me, is it John? Don't take life too seriously. You'll never get out of it alive.

Forge swore. It seemed that Johnson had unlimited access to wherever the Shepards went. He closed teahe bag and readied his sword. He'd have to talk to Colin and Chrom about what he knew about the Risen attack. For now, to deal with these troops.

Colin looked at all the Valmese troops. "Blast how did they get here so fast!" He drew his new sword, a killing edge. "Now shepherds! We fight for Ylisse!" He leaped into battle and killed a few valmese troops. "How many are there!" He yelled, surrounded.

Colin yelled over to Cordelia, who was fighting some valmese a few feet away. "Hey have you seen Severa?" "Ugh, I'm right here!" Severa yelled, slashing enemy a while away to the other side of him, and a weird bunny like thing was fighting besides her. "Lo-bunny!" It yelled. Colin didn't even ask, he just kept fighting.

"What is it with you guys," said Forge, ducking out of the way of several blows, "and trying to hack my damn right arm off?" he asked, killing some. Someone screamed something. "Sorry, what? I didn't hear you over the galleons on 'bad-a!*' washing over me." he smiled, taking down another five soldiers. "That's sixty!" he shouted.

Colin just finished slashing the enemies around him, when a giant shadow looming over him. "Go.. Lurk" It said, then it's fist glowed pointed at Cordelia. "CORDELIA! GET DOWN!" He yelled then grabbed her and tackled her down. The thing's giant fist fired forward and destroyed part of the town. Colin and Cordelia were on the ground, recovering from the blast. "Maybe we should just lay like this for a while." He said. "But we're in the middle of a battl-" He kissed her. "Love is a battlefield"
