"im part every type of dragon. ... well almost.but i just use the shadows because without them i and unable to stay outside during the day. rather then having to wait till night to be out and about"

When Vampkite got away from where they set up she turned back into her true form after searching around and findinga lone dragon she pounced snapping its neck then draining it.
Satisfied she headed back turning back into her human form before entering the area

krystal and glacier ended up setting up camp in a cave some distance from where they were before. krystal was trying to think of how they would explain why they have been gone so long when the got home but eventually gave up and went to sleep

(shades on the beach with trix. also i just wanted to write one last thing.)
vampkite wasnt used to needing sleep since she hadnt had a physical form which needed sleep for such along time though she eventually fell asleep only to end up dreaming..

she was back on the day that she lost her partner. Right before her partner darkstorm turned back into an egg. "even without me i belive you can control it vampkite even without me you can do it. I did it for you why shouldnt you be able to do the same." the air dragon had said putting paws into her hands one last time before disapearing forever...

"... i never could do it without you "
