Running.
They had been running for weeks. Somehow, those bounty hunters were always hot on their heels. Eat, sleep, run. This had become Derek and Reyna's lifestyle. Their clothes were dirty, their food supply low, and the pegasi could barely stand, much less run anymore.
It was a silent night, and Derek jumped at every small noise. They had taken refuge in some forest in California for the time being. The place had a somewhat comfortable feel to it, for no apparent reason. Of course, the bounty hunters weren't too far off. Reyna had managed to detain them by surrounding the place with traps, and she determined that it would give them a few days of rest. Derek had lit a small fire, and both Fantasies and the pegasi sat by it, trying to forget that they were freezing.
Reyna had taken it upon herself to sharpen their weapons, and besides the loud noise of a sword on a whetstone, the night was eerily quiet. Derek was attempting to heal the pegasi again, but his powers were much weaker during the night. With a frustrated sigh, Derek plopped to his makeshift bed of sticks and leaves. A stick poked at his tired back, and he proceeded to let out a groan, catching Reyna's attention.
She glanced up from her work wearily, obviously tired. Derek locked eyes with her as he sat up once more, stroking Theseus' injured wing. "Don't you ever get tired of running?"
Reyna bit her lip, letting some emotion show briefly before answering. "All the time," was her quiet reply.
Derek ran a hand through his already very messy brown hair before speaking again. "Me too. Sometimes I dream of other people like us, but so far it's only you and me."
One of the good qualities of Reyna was that she never laughed at him. Most people would laugh at him for being open with his thoughts, but Reyna didn't. In fact, she only ever laughed when he was making jokes. Reyna looked back at the sword she was sharpening. "That is quite a possibility. But we can't dwell on hopeful thoughts."
"That, is depressingly true," Derek sighed.
Derek and Reyna had met back in Minnesota, where they were both being chased by bounty hunters. They'd decided to join forces to give each other a better chance at survival, though they didn't get along at first. Eventually, Reyna's dark no-nonsense personality grew on Derek's playful and joking attitude. Both of them had similar opinions, they quickly realized. They soon stumbled upon the stable where the mistreated pegasi were, and both made a split-second decision to free them. Ironically, Derek had chosen Theseus, the black one, while Reyna took Cliantha, the white one. Though neither could fly, they could still run extremely fast, smashing all obstacles with their magical horns. The pegasi proved useful companions, and comforting friends to both Fantasies. Instead of running off to the wild, they loyally followed Derek and Reyna.
Back when they had first met, Derek was shocked in learning Reyna had control over darkness. He expected her to wear goth clothes and have depressing opinions. Reyna, instead, wore silver clothing and was fairly logical with her opinions. Reyna had been the reason why Derek decided to never believe stereotypes again. Reyna, though she rarely ever showed emotion, was equally surprised that Derek had control over light. Though his personality suited his powers, Derek didn't seem like the type who would wield balls of glowing light.
Both Fantasies had weapons. Bow and arrows for Reyna, and a sword for Derek. They made a surprisingly good team, as either were fine with both defense and offense. Both had skill and talent in wielding their chosen weapons, making some bounty hunters back off a bit.
"How long can we stay here?" Derek broke the silence.
Reyna shrugged, keeping her eyes on the sword. "A week, give or take a day. That is, assuming they don't break through the traps I set for them."
Just as she had finished talking, she finished sharpening Derek's sword. With a gesture, the shadows gathered and plopped it back on Derek's lap. With another gesture, the shadows formed around the whetting stone, slowly making it disappear into what Derek called "Reyna's Shadow Storage of Doom."
Reyna was organizing their supplies when there was a loud boom. The sound of Reyna's traps breaking. Derek instinctively teleported their things into their hands as Reyna urged the pegasi to stand and run. There was the distant sound of shoes crunching on sticks, and both Fantasies ran.
"I thought you said we'd be safe for a week!" Derek shouted as he dodged an arrow that came from behind.
"I did! I didn't expect them to break my traps that easily!" Reyna replied as she began to run backwards, firing back silver arrows with deadly accuracy. There were a few screams of pain as they met their mark.
The pegasi ran gracefully alongside them, much stronger after gaining a few hours of rest. With a timed leap, Derek jumped onto Theseus' back, as the pegasus split a tree in half with his horn. Reyna quickly followed, doing a backwards somersault to land on Cliantha while firing even more arrows. Derek didn't know how long they ran, as it seemed like eternity.
Some time later, they burst into a clearing where an ancient pine tree stood in the middle. Reyna was still firing arrows, but now they were accompanied with streaks of shadows that made their victims scream as it sliced through their skin. Derek was following up with light blasts, though they didn't do much damage, as his powers were considerably weaker during the night. Theseus and Cliantha pummeled straight at the ancient pine tree, which Derek and Reyna didn't give much thought. To their surprise, their surroundings blurred as both pegasi's horns touched the trunk of the tree.
In their surprise, Derek and Reyna fell off the pegasi's backs and onto a notably softer ground. The pegasi immediately halted and turned to come back for them. Both Fantasies were in a very awkward position. Derek had propped himself up with his elbows as Reyna lay beneath him. Both flushed a bright red, immediately getting up to their feet and muttering apologies.
"Where...are we?" Reyna finally said out loud, taking in their new surroundings.
[I dare you to tell me that wasn't long. -stare-]
Buying Normal Gems and Water Gems.

Triss immediately ran towards the main transporting pine, where she'd noticed--who couldn't--two horses, with glistening, muddied wings that were folded. It had been such a long time since she'd seen pegasi. There was two people flushed red--oh joy, a new couple to mess with--standing there, rather confused. They looked at her.
That kind of look that was a bit hostile. Probably worried about the Pegasi... Wonder if I accuse them for witchcraft? She thought mischievously. No, that would be cruel. When most people arrived they would be beaten, a loss of sleep, and look like they'd been dragged across the ground. They didn't look as bad as she did when she arrived, though... The boy looked at her with a hostile tone, she could tell. Not as hostile as Fox... Fox was like a mother polar bear when she'd met her. How come Triss was the first person most Fantasies would meet? Why not Carter, the leader of the camp. Sometimes that guy annoyed her so much...
"Hi there. Uh... Nice pegasi? Anyway, you both look pretty tired and out of shape. Allow me to introduce myself--I'm Triss. Dark Fantasy, head of Dark household blah blah blah... Anyways, you're safe here. I can guarantee you two that. We could treat you to some of our top-class sushi, or perhaps our fabulous--wait, I sound like a commercial seller. Yeah, I'm not the best person to introduce people..." She said awkwardly.

Lyra skipped over to Amy, who seemed bored. She but on her best white smile for a greeting. "Hey there, Amy. Want to have a race up on a tree? Or maybe find a toad?" She asked.

She pulled a maroon-red ribbon from her wrist, and tied up her dirty honey-blonde hair into a low compatible ponytail. Skipping towards the nearest Ginkgo tree, she stared up at the clear blue sky through the curvy leaves. "Next bird that chirps is our starting call?" She suggested, her ears becoming alert. Lyra straightened her socks, giving a patient tap of her black Mary-Jane shoes.

Ginkgo trees had the softest bark she'd ever seen, and it was a fresh, crisp golden-brown color that was full of sunlight. The bark didn't stick out, so it was usually cobweb free. Her sight focused on a graceful, glimmering, calm slightly dark-blue winged butterfly that seemed a bit unsteady. It wobbled, and Lyra gave a blow of air to get it back on balance. That had helped the butterfly. Noticing she had fallen behind a bit, in effort she tried her best to catch up with Amy.
