I read what you had to say and the I’ll talk about the quotes from he religious books first. I’m not a Christian so I don’t know what to say regarding the Bible but the quotes from the Quran, you misunderstood.

Surah Al-Baqarah 2:282 It states CLEARLY that there should be two women should be present in case there isn’t one man available because if one of the women makes a mistake, the other will correct the first woman.

Surah An-Nur 24:2 It says this in the Quran but also says that it is better to forgive.

Surah An-Nisa 4:34 First of all it’s a ‘final resort’ and that’s only when the wife becomes SO disobedient that they become evil. Also, there has been no instance of this final resort being used among the prophets or religious people mentioned in the Quran.

Surah Al-Tawbah 9:29 This surah was revealed at a time of war against the disbelievers and the tyrants who were fighting the Muslims. And this tax was on all non Muslims living in Muslim territory and were offered the tax in return for protection at a time of war against a common enemy. And the Muslims would do charities and giveaways with money or valuables that costed more than the tax itself.

I agree that the rules of religion seem to be changing, but only how the rules are interpreted in their respective countries. They are becoming too lenient. Yes I may have used harsh words at my first text, but I’ll try to speak more respectfully. I know that they are human and that’s exactly why I’m trying to warn you and telling you why LGBTQ isn’t, in my opinion and in a religious view, not right

I haven’t got these ideologies from social media, just the opposite. There have been too many videos of homosexuality on the internet and this didn’t feel right. If my religion(Islam) prohibited it, and the religions that are most similar to it(Christianity and Judaism) why were people doing this. I know it might seem natural to people but in my opinion it isn’t.

I knew exactly that homosexuality existed before Islam as well but that’s the problem. They were punished for their deeds. For example, the people of Lot/Lut (different in Quran and Bible) were a tribe of homosexuality. They were then sent Prophet Lut to guide them but they didn’t listen. After trying to get them to correct their ways, God punishes the people who continued to sin with a shower of stones of clay and saved the few people who believed Prophet Lut. I’m not agreeing with the violence against homosexuality, only with the correction of it.

You also said that in the hypothetical instance that my friend was homosexual, I would try to correct him by advising him and telling him why that shouldn’t be correct. I know I was acting hateful in my first remark and I apologize strongly and will try to speak more respectfully. Regarding the aromantic and asexual, I was referring to only the attraction of the same gender(I didn’t realize aromantic and asexual and the others were LGBTQ). Please try to understand that the only reason I’m basing this on religion alone is because if God tells you to do something or warns you that something isn’t right, you should not find any reason to not do what God commanded you to do, in this case regarding gay or lesbian. And I know that you might be having prejudice against Islam on the basis of some terrorists being so called “Muslims” but read what I have to say with an open mind.

I apologise for my first post being hateful and bullying in my first post when I brought this up and would like to ask forgiveness to anyone I have bothered or been rude against. Hopefully, we can try to have a respectful debate or discussion as to our beliefs in this matter.

I have read what everyone had to say and would like to speak in a more respectful tone, sorry for my bad vocabulary at the first post. Sure people should have to freedom to love who they want but freedom is not always a good thing. There are limits to what you should have the freedom to do. And some don’t want to involve religion in this but it should be involved. Religion is a part of life(if you’re atheist, I don’t know what to say to you). Religion SHOULD be applied but the problem is it isn’t. And one of you mentioned that it says pork shouldn’t be eaten. That’s true it SHOULDNT but that’s the problem with some people. They are being too lenient regarding what God has forbid us to do. Also, someone said rules can change over the years and religions may change. Why? Why would that even happen? You don’t change a religion on the basis that ‘times are changing’. Anyways, this conversation is going off topic. Also, a person is affected by what the learn at a young age. And countries, especially the western world, have taught it at schools and have freedom to something that shouldn’t have been given freedom to do. Because why should people change a predetermined rule set by God a long time ago. Also, you might say that it makes them happy or whatever, but you can’t just do whatever you want. That’s not how life SHOULD work. America and Europe have given far too much freedom to do what you want and just because something makes you ‘happy’ doesn’t mean that it should be done. I could say that certain ‘substances’ or smoking or other illicit activities can make me happy but that’s wrong. Same as this. And LGBTQ is a normal thing for the western world because they grew up with the fact that it’s allowed. I know that this is a ‘safe place’ for people who feel like this but please try to understand that this isn’t right. You might not agree but religion IS everything and there are rules you should adhere to.

Hello I would like to make a statement that is hopefully not disrespectful or hateful and respect the choices some people do but I don’t see what the point of being gay or lesbian is.

From a religious and social perspective, it is in my opinion a morally disgusting thing to do. In a religious perspective in the main three religions in the world, Islam, Christianity and Judaism, the topic of LGBTQ is discussed very much and in a way that suggests that it is a disgusting and filthy thing to do.

It is crossing the limits, in general. You might say that it is expressing ‘freedom’ or that ‘it is their choice’ but that’s what countries have put in your head. In recent years, they have brainwashed others into thinking that it is normal and should be encouraged, but no it really shouldn’t.

I know what I am saying might be disrespectful or whatever, but the truth has to come out. I am open to discussion if anyone wants to debate about it or come up with a comeback. I know that this forum is in a game but it has been bothering me this whole time. (And no, I’m not an adult I’m actually an under-18 person that is EXTREMELY concerned for society)
