Title: I love this place!

It’s been a busy few days. I started my first shiny hunt- winter Numel , but I had to abandon it. I wish I had a bigger egg box. I’ve heard that storage boxes have a customised environment or something, like a poke ball but bigger. That doesn’t mean egg boxes have to be even more expensive. When I shiny hunt again, I’ll choose something easier, I’m thinking bulbasaur.
I love working and living here. Prof Rowan can be gruff, but working with him is great. There’s basically no recurring costs. There’s no rent, electricity isn’t really needed, water from the river nearby is easily available. You can grow your own food too. I have to buy flour once in a while, but I can just get or grow everything else. I was a bit disappointed that I couldn’t get rice, but flatbreads are ok too. I’ve even learnt how to make pancakes!

Title: What happened before this

I suppose I should write what has happened so far.
I came here under the name of Legend_Soul. I got my log cabin here and started living here. It is a nice cabin, very spacious. There's a large yard where I asked Bill to keep all my Pokemon. Of course, I keep some with me in my party at all times. Prof. Rowan gave me my treecko, now sceptile. I named it Forest_Guardian. Dramatic, I know. I slowly settled in here. There's a lot to do here and the town keeps hosting all kinds of events. It's also the place many special Pokemon are attracted to. I myself have a few. It is also where you can find legendary Pokemon coming and going. Many special unexplained phenomena. It is why I came here in the first place. It is surprising the amount of legendaries that pass by. Why, quite recently I managed to catch the mythical Hoopa. Astounding how normal it is for the residents of this town. There are many other trainers, many more accomplished than I, and new ones too. Emera Town is constantly growing. The days are ticking by. Soon, it will be Christmas, which happens to be my birthday. Yes, actually. Some townsfolk are even giving away special legendary Pokemon they have if trainers completed some tasks. Such generous people!

Title: My journal

I decided to record my experience with emera town. I've gotten nicely settled in my log cabin beside the silent forest. I didn't think I would be here so long. If anyone finds this, then I am most likely missing or deceased. I must tell you. I am not what they think I am. My disguise is working. I wish nothing more than to be a normal Pokemon trainer in this town. I have no ill intentions. I am writing this so I have something to remind me of this town if I have to leave.

Hm. No response. That was strange. Well, it was better than an argument or fight. He saw some were still standing alone. He decided to not bother anyone else. 'What time was it?', he thought. He should go look for a clock. He glanced out one of the windows. There were still a few hours left till dawn. He decided to explore the castle. It always fascinated him. Not every vampire had a castle or mansion to live in.

The castle hod many secrets. There seemed to be endless rooms. If he strayed too far, would he be able to get back? He didn't know.

Mriye looked around. He thought most of the guests were drinking too much. He definitely couldn't handle drunk vampires. Better get away while they were still civil.

He saw some going into the other rooms. Surely, he could as well. He wandered for a bit. Everyone seemed occupied with something. He saw someone else. He didn't recognise the vampire. They had lavender hair that covered much of their face.

He decided to strike up a conversation. It was risky, but he couldn't just wander around the whole time. "Greetings.", He called out. "I believe we haven't met. I'm Mriye Safayir."

He saw glances a him. He hoped he wasn’t suspicious. He should mingle in more. He checked, and thankfully, he wasn’t being followed yet.

He looked over to the drinks. Wine or blood? Probably both. He resisted the temptation to try one.What should he do? Maybe he should make his way over to Ldeya and let her know he came. She was one of the few he trusted. He wondered why she still invited him. Well, he assumed Ldeya organised the parties. He never bothered enough to find out.

These parties were the only way he found out any news. In any case, something important happened in vampire society only every few decades. Maybe he’d meet someone new. Maybe he’d find someone who didn’t pay attention to the rumours. Someone he could befriend.

As he stood, he grew nervous. He was wearing his mask, of course. The one he wore whenever he needed to stay unidentified. He relaxed. This was the one place where it was normal to wear a mask. Unless the customs had suddenly changed in the ten to fifteen years he has not attended.

His mask obscured his face completely. It was a good mask. It was fancy enough to wear at events like this; but as long as he didn't look up too often, humans wouldn't even notice.

He knew he was still recongnizable. He knew better than to leave his cloak unguarded. And he knew the amulet's faint glow would not be obscured such easily. He knew he was taking a risk, but no-one notices unless you give them a chance to do so. It wasn't like he wasn't invited.

He decided to try to stop worrying so much. He had to be cautious, but what was the worst that could happen. He was at a masquerade, after all!

He was there. A bit early, in fact. But he was waiting. He couldn't just go and risk it now. He had to be careful not to draw attention. Being one of the first to enter the doors would definitely do that.

He knew he wasn't welcomed by many. He waited for the clock to chime, waiting nearby. He had to hope he couldn't be found. That would raise suspicion. He couldn't afford to have any more rumours circling around.

He heard the clock chime, he saw guests start to arrive. Good, he thought. Now all he had to do was blend in the crowd.

Success. Now he has to be as stealthy as he could.He knew the rumours. If too many people noticed him, it would soon result in nothing more than another undesirable argument. He shuddered. He knew what he'd have to do if too someone got too inquisitive. He could not yet control it. He could not afford to take any risks.

Generally keeps to himself and does not participate in arguments. Prefers to be alone and has barely any sense of sympathy. He never lets any vampire know who he is and what he's done. He's made many fake identities over the years so he's perfectly untraceable, even to vampires.
Appearance: Wearing an oversized patched wizard's robe as a cloak, hiding anything beneath. Thought you can catch a glimpse of a green amulet occasionally. He wears a ragged, faded torn scarf untidily. He has pitch black hair, hidden by a hood.
Magic: He has his amulet, which allows him to manipulate memories. He's not very effective at this though, only being able to erase all the memories of a few hours ago. He can also use it to blur a person's memories slightly; such as removing specific details. However, this is at a great risk to himself; so he only uses it as a last resort or in an emergency.
He also makes potions but it's not really magic and he's not that good at it
Stories: He doesn't have many interesting stories, usually hunting animals for blood by his house somewhere in a wood. However, he has used his magic to harm someone. Just once. The vampire that bit him. A perfect operation planned for years. With methods no one knows. For no one remembers.The spell which harmed both caster and victim.

Most vampires dislike him, for he is open about his hate of vampire society. To many, he is not a true vampire.
