Autumn: Y-yeah! That sounds really nice. Oh, and my name is Autumn. I'm... Not like most LeafWings. *She's referring to her unusual coloring and the strength of her leafspeak.* A walk in the forest sounds delightful, though!

*She was excited to finally meet another firescales dragon like her. Maybe he'd like her better than most dragons do, firescales and all.*

Firestorm, trying to start a conversation: Neither did I, honestly! Isn't it so annoying when other dragons glare at you just because of your firescales? Like, it's not my fault that I'm stuck like this, so if you have a problem with it, why don't you do something about it? Oh wait, you can't. Firescales. ...So anyways, what's your name? I'm Firestorm! Wait, I already said that. She was taken off guard by Frost's sudden appearance and instinctively almost scratched her face off in self-defense, but luckily missed by a few inches.* Yeek! Don't sneak up on me like that, that's just asking to get burnt! Who are you?! I-I mean, who are you?

*Autumn blushed at the question and fiddled with her bracelet for a moment. Then she turned to look Aloe right in the eyes and smiled shyly as a rose bloomed on her head.*

Autumn: S-sure! I'd like that a lot. O-ow, ow. *She has to put the rose elsewhere as some of its thorns almost start digging into her head.*

Firestorm's POV

*Firestorm spotted Helianthus and walked over to him slowly, her talons leaving burn marks singed into the grass wherever she stepped. Finding other firescales dragons to befriend might be a good idea. She's not great at socializing, though, so she kinda just pops up in his face.*

Firestorm: Hi! I'm Firestorm, and I have firescales, like you seem to! Can we be friends and talk about things like animals and why other dragons should be jealous of our scales rather than afraid?

Firestorm: Yikes, that may have been one of my worst introductions ever. *Frostbite glared at Firestorm as he stepped away from her and the hot lake water, and Axolotl walked over to see Peril, Tsunami, and Tidal before noticing the others.*

Firestorm's POV

*The young SkyWing was flying over Jade mountain, looking around for anything interesting that she could find. Then she noticed a group of dragons in a lake and a nearby river and was curious as to who they were. She doesn't many to seem too menacing, so she puts on a smile and dives down, landing on a rock to avoid bringing anyone.*

Firestorm: H-hi! Who are all of you? *Her eyes widen with interest when she sees Peril's tail cause the water to boil, thinking that she'd found a fellow firescales dragon.*

Firestorm: Three moons, another firescales dragon! That means I'm not the only one! Should I talk to her? Should I stay right here? Rrrrgh, what do I do? *Her scales steam with annoyance as she's conflicted about how to react, and Frostbite spots Firestorm and panics.*

Frostbite, nearly falling in the water: Agh! Firescales!

Firestorm: Ah yes, how nice of you to notice, *She said, glaring at him.*

Autumn's POV

*Autumn was impressed by Aloe's trick with the flowers and attempted to mirror it, but the sound of Frostbite screaming startled her, causing her to make the aloe vera plant get twice as big almost instantly. She blushed with embarrassment at her mistake.*

Dragon Tribe: SkyWing

Powers: Firescales

Appearance: Firestorm has pale red scales, maroon spines, yellow underscales, dark brown horns and claws, emerald green eyes, and wings the color of a raging wildfire. Her entire body is slightly incandescent thanks to her firescales, and the intensity of the heat and glowing tends to vary with her emotional state.

Personality: Firestorm can seem a bit menacing at first, such as making morbid/violent jokes or threatening to set dragons on fire if they provoke her, but she's a lot nicer once they get to know her better. She's kind of lonely and not great at socializing (mostly because most dragons run or fly away from her to avoid being burned before she can introduce herself,) but she likes it when someone willingly interacts with her. She often jokingly refers to herself with names such as "fiery death lizard" or "walking inferno", but she actually tends to resent her firescales despite the protection they provide her with.

Backstory: N/A for now...

Any interesting facts: Her favorite mammals are foxes and her favorite birds are falcons. Also, she tends to have nightmares about her firescales burning everything and everyone around her, but by now she's almost indifferent to these dreams.

Autumn's POV

*Autumn had finally gotten some flowers to bloom and wanted to give some aloe vera to Aloe (as a present to try to befriend him.) She walked around trying to find him, holding the plant very carefully in a small clay pot under her arm. She walked in on Aloe meeting his mother and smiled shyly, but tried to stay hidden from view.*

Autumn: Awwww, that's sweet. I don't know who the bigger dragon is, but judging by the context I have so far, I think they're related. Maybe I should wait a moment before I give Aloe this plant.

Blizzard's POV

*Blizzard was still in the prey center. He wasn't sure why, but he wondered if Toucan would come back so he could try to figure out what they meant by "different."*

Frostbite/Axolotl's POV

*Frostbite went with the hunting patrol to take his mind off of Aloe asking out Stargazer and get something to eat. He embarrassed himself earlier trying to catch a chicken - he wasn't going to let that happen again. He dove into a nearby river and came up with a salmon in his talons, and he noticed a small blue shape in the bushes by the water.*

Frostbite: Who is that? ...Oh, it's that scrawny SeaWing. I wonder why she's hiding in the bushes.

Axolotl: *Axolotl poked her head out of the bushes and looked at Frostbite with a mildly frustrated expression.* You couldn't have warned me you were going to nearly divebomb me?

Frostbite: And risk scaring away all the prey around here? You wish.

*Stargazer was grateful to receive the flower bracelet, but confused on who Toucan was. She watched the interaction between Aloe and Toucan for quite a few moments before saying anything. She politely motions at Toucan with her talon that she doesn't want any chicken, and turns to see Aloe's art.*

Stargazer: Those are some really good drawings! How long do they usually take?

Stargazer, to Nova and Snowy: Don't tell anyone about the cave potentially collapsing until we have more information. No need to cause a panic.

Axolotl's POV

*The young SeaWing was now lying in the sun on the riverbank, curiously watching some minnows swim around.*

*Blizzard tilted his head to the side in mild confusion as he finished eating his meal and wiped some pig blood off of his talons.*

Blizzard, curious: Different how? You look just like any other RainWing one would see. *He realizes that Toucan's already left the prey center.* Oh.

Stargazer's POV

Stargazer, concerned: I'm worried not because of the idea of a cave collapsing, but because I saw a dragon in the cave when it fell. What if someone gets hurt? Did either of you see what tribe the dragonet looked like they were from? If so, it might give us a clue as to where to look. *Her tail twitches nervously as she stares at the other two dragons in the cave, and she tenses up when she hears a thought from someone nearby.*

Stargazer, to Nova and Snowy: Someone's close. Not sure who, but someone is nearby. We might wanna keep our voices down to not cause a panic.

*Frostbite looks a bit irritated by Aloe kissing Stargazer, but he tries his best not to show it. Stargazer giggled at the little sign of affection, but panicked when she realized that Snowstroller and Nova figured out she's a mindreader. Frostbite narrowed his eyes noticeably at Aloe, and a puff of ice crystals escape his snout.*

Frostbite: Who does this guy think he is, just kissing my crush like that?! How am I supposed to tell her that I love her if she's dating someone else? Aloe hasn't even known her for half the time that I have!

Stargazer, to Nova and Snowy: Please, don't tell a single dragon that I can read minds. I'm worried they might not trust me if they think I might know their secrets. I'll tell them eventually, but please don't say anything to anyone yet. *Frostbite looks at her with confusion at her expression of panic and complete silence, but remembers that it's normal for her to do that.*

Frostbite: Oh, right, I almost forgot that Star is a mindreader. At least she can keep secrets better than some dragons can. Maybe she's talking to another mindreader right now. Doesn't she know that I love her?

Stargazer, hearing Snowy's request: U-um, later, I'd like that. It might be nice! But I uh, have to go for a moment. *She walks off to go meet Snowstroller in her cave and after about a minute of walking, she stops and gets hit with a headache- Wait, no, a vision. Stargazer sees a cave collapse on a frightened dragonet and nearly screams in alarm before running the rest of the way to the cave.*

Stargazer, panicked: Guys! I- I had a terrible vision about something collapsing!

Blizzard's POV

*Blizzard threw Toucan a papaya he'd spotted nearby on the floor and continued eating his pig, but he stopped and looked up in surprise at seeing a RainWing choosing meat over fruit. Very unusual indeed.*

Blizzard: You're better at catching chickens than Frostbite is, *He said with an amused snort,* I don't know many RainWings who'd turn down fruit for meat. I thought they were all vegetarians.

Axolotl's POV

*Axolotl was swimming in a nearby river, having a bit of trouble evading obstacles in the shallow water. She kept hitting fish that were trying to swim past her and apologizing to them.

Axolotl: Three moons, I wish I could find a nice lake or something to swim in rather than this stream. There's so much less room to m- *The SeaWing loses her train of thought as she gets nailed in the face by a salmon, and she decides that maybe she should just sit on the shore for a bit.*

*Stargazer recoiled back in surprise, not actually expecting Toucan to fly back over to her rather than continuing to walk off. She regained her footing and made eye contact.*

Stargazer: It's nice to meet you, Toucan! *She blushed at hearing Aloe ask her if she wanted to go out with him and her wings folded closer to her body.* ...I-I-

Autumn's POV

*Autumn was sitting in her sleeping cave with a few decorative potted plants around her, and she was busy trying to get them to bloom early by talking to them with her leafspeak. She's not great at socializing with other dragons, so when she feels lonely or bored she tends to turn to plants for comfort.*

Autumn, whispering: Come on little tulips, just bloom for me for a few minutes. I want this room to be more than just a dark cave with no color.

Blizzard's POV

*Blizzard sat up quickly and heard something from a nearby hallway. Hearing was always his strongest sense.*

Blizzard: Someone just asked out that weird NightWing.

Frostbite: *Frostbite practically choked on the piece of chicken he was eating when he heard that the dragon he had a crush on just got asked out by someone else.* What?! *He frantically runs out into the hallway and trips over his tail as he does so, hitting his snout on the floor and startling Stargazer and the others. Star practically falls over in surprise at his sudden entrance, and Blizzard yells something from the prey center.*

Blizzard: Don't make yourself look dumb, Frostbite! *He hears the IceWing fall on his face and snickers.* Too late. *He sees Toucan walk in and gives him a subtle wave as a greeting. He hides it well that he's not super thrilled about a RainWing being in there considering the difference in personality between him and them.*

(That's it I'm shoving my OCs around for convenience. Putting Stargazer by this little group with Snowy and Nova and etc. Frostbite's gonna be in the prey center to try to get something to eat, Blizzard's with Frostbite in there, Axolotl is gonna go for a short swim in a nearby river, and Autumn will be in her cave, talking to plants with leafspeak and making them bloom and stuff XD)

*Stargazer listens to the mental conversation between Nova and Snowstroller, wanting to chime in but resisting the urge for her own sake. She manages to focus her attention back on the verbal conversation going on and tries to ignore the thoughts of most of the dragons around her, but the number of them is giving her a bit of a headache. The young NightWing waves at Toucan and turns to face the LeafWing hybrid.*

Stargazer, to Helianthus: H-hi. I'm Stargazer, who are you?

Frostbite/Blizzard's POV

*The two IceWings were in the prey center trying to get something to eat. Blizzard laughed with mild amusement as Frostbite dove to catch a chicken and missed, hitting the floor instead. Frostbite got up quickly and angrily snorted a puff of ice crystals.*

Frostbite, angrily: Why are chickens so hard to catch?! They're just dumb birds that can't even fly!

Blizzard, tearing a piece of meat off of a pig: Maybe you're just bad at hunting.

Frostbite: I am not bad at hunting! I'm just not used to trying to catch chickens instead of seals.

*Blizzard blushes out of embarrassment (at his out-of-character moment just now) and gets up quickly. He quickly shoves Snowstroller away, but not hard enough to hurt her, and Frostbite manages to calm down (but he's still holding back laughter.) Stargazer smiles at Aloe and nods in response to the question of hanging out after school.*

Blizzard, furrowing his brow: No, we're not! She's not even around my age!

Frostbite, restraining giggling: Well, how old are you?

Blizzard: 12! *Blizzard snorts at Aloe with a tone of frustration and walks to check where his next class is. As he does so, Axolotl walks into the history classroom and sits down. She's excited to meet her teacher, and her tail tip is tapping on the floor anxiously. She sits in silence for a few moments before realizing something.*

Axolotl: Wait, I'm in the wrong classroom! *She goes to follow Blizzard to see what and where the next class for her winglet is.*

*Frostbite visibly flinches at the mention of animus dragons having a lot of pressure on them, but shrugs it off. Blizzard also leaves the library and walks out to the group.*

Blizzard: Wait, which winglet am I in again?

Frostbite: Uhhhh, I think we have history next? …"Frosty one"?!

Frostbite: I'll admit, I'm glad me and Star are in the same winglet. N-not out loud, of course.

*Axolotl flinches at the idea of the creepy mask being associated with trauma, but she tries not to seem rude and does a thumbs up. She flashes a few of the scales on her face as well.

Axolotl: C-cool.

*Blizzard notices Snowstroller's appearance and breaks his usual bravado of pride and calmness by nearly tripping over his own tail and yelling, "AGH, DARKSTALKER!!", which makes Frostbite burst out laughing because of the unexpected moment.*

Stargazer's POV

*Stargazer frowns at seeing how sad Aloe looks and the fact that Nova still seems mad at him. She wants to help fix it, but she's not sure how. She hears the sound of Frostbite laughing in the not-so-far off distance and giggles to herself.*

Axolotl: *Her expression turns a bit uneasy when she finally pays attention to Oleander's gas mask. The sight of it unnerves her for reasons she's unsure of, but she tries to hide it to not hurt their feelings.* …U-uh, what's with the m-mask?

Frostbite: …Frostbite. *He narrows his eyes at the LeafWing, carefully studying their appearance to look for any signs of secrets. He snorts a small cloud of ice crystals and steps back from Snowstroller.*

Stargazer's POV

*Stargazer realizes that she must not have gone far enough from the room to not be seen until she approached and panics a bit. If she says anything regarding the rock she enchanted, they'll know that she's an animus.*

Stargazer: Uh, y-you know NightWings! Always sneakin' around and stuff…

Autumn's POV

Autumn: I'm uh, Autumn. And thanks! Normally the first thing noticed about me is my coloring, not my leafspeak, hehe…

He stomps with a bit of frustration at how jumpy he's been today.*

Frostbite: What is it with dragons startling me today?! Who are you? How did I not notice you a moment ago? …Darkstalker?!

*Axolotl poked her head out of the library innocently and Blizzard stood behind her.*

*Frostbite looked incredibly confused that Snowstroller had never heard of animus dragons.*

Frostbite: Animus dragons are… special. They, uh… They can enchant things to do stuff, basically. Like how the ice palace is enchanted to never break, or how the Dreamvisitors are enchanted to work the way they do, but if an animus uses too much of their power, they lose their soul. That's what happened to Queen Diamond, she enchanted multiple things that she wasn't supposed to and went crazy.

Axolotl/Blizzard's POV

*Axolotl didn't like hearing about animus magic driving dragons insane, because it made her worry about her own soul. She hadn't enchanted many objects, but she definitely didn't want to end up like Albatross. She stared at the floor nervously for a few seconds before speaking up.*

Axolotl: I… I think I feel bad for her.

Blizzard: Nah, don't be. She wasn't a great queen from what I've heard

Axolotl: Oh. Well, at least she didn't kill a bunch of dragons like Albatross did…
