(Just a list of typings to choose from also it is to note. Scale color is not 100% there are cases of dragons that different from the norm.)
Also just general information on dragons. Dragons mature in the first year and are normally large enough to be ridedable by then. They do not die of old age and grow for their entire lifetime. Most species of dragons breath fire all but water dragons and water dragon varients.
(this is a work in progress. also dragons can have abilities outside of breath weapons and such anyway for the most part im just leaving the list here feel free to ask me any questions about specific species. also souless and heartles are off limits for a base species. )
Dark - Dark dragons are strong in their abbilities of trickery and illusions. They tend to be purple-black in color. They are hydras (as in another head every year of life but unlike hydras we know the heads dont grow back (same with nightmare dragons)
Nightmare- Dark varient which is able to control the dreams of others
*Souless- Ghosts in the dragon world able to phase through walls and are slightly transparent in appearence. They often levitate rather then fly or walk. They absorb the life force of plants and animals around them. They have completly white eyes which when dragons look into themwill turn you into a souless as well. they have no free will
*Heartless-Heartless are Dragons that are truly terrifying... drastically stronger then normal. There always from a dragon or rider and retain there original typings. They lack remorse and can brand others to complete servitude. Each one varies, and are VERY rare. So far there have only ever been 5 ever to exist. they are a souless varient.
Vampire-Vampire dragon
Light-Normally yellow to goldish in color
Water- These dragons live purely in the water but can survive on land and also are able to have slight control over the water around them water. Normally scales are blue in color
tsunami dragons- water varient which cannot live on land at all. They have complete control over water currents and such
*Ice- another water dragon varient which has control over ice - normally white or blue scales but as in the case of the cursed king rogue there have been cases of black scales among the white

Appearance: In her human form, Crin is not too short, standing about 5' 4'' tall, long blonde hair commonly pulled back in a braid and light green eyes set in deeply tanned skin. Her attire is usually simple stuff, or something with a slight pattern, but they're all colors of nature. One of her favorite outfits is a brown skirt with a knot just below her hip, cowboy boots, and a green sleeveless shirt with lace-like edging around the shoulders, neck, and body holes.

Personality: She is usually pretty quiet, until someone starts talking to her and she makes a friend, but the issue is never getting her to shut up. She knows when some things are best left unsaid. The rest is to be found out.

History: She comes from a family who live on a farm, so she's no stranger to hard work or animals. She'd always wanted to work with dragons, and she'd always wanted to be a veterinarian. She took classes at the local college (that she paid for with money she earned herself), about animals and their anatomy, but dragons were always her favorites. Just on the off chance, she applied to this school hoping that she could help make the world a safer place.

Draco is a kind and friendly person. He not hard to talk to, nor is he hard to get along with. He typically isn't rude or mean to anyone unless they deserve it. Draco overall is a kind natured person and doesn't usually like to get into fights. He can also sometimes be slightly immature but he knows when he should be more serious, mature, and focused. Draco also likes to tease people quite a bit. Just the typical stuff like commenting about someone's height and their crush. Do not be fooled by the kind and friendly nature of Draco though. Even though he doesn't like to get into fights and is in general, kind natured, he can easily snap from his typical nature to a completely different person. The other version of himself is typically much, much more serious and seems to always be angry. Essentially, it is the opposite of his usual self. He has his morals but he is not afraid to break them, if necessary.
History:
Draco's parents died when he was at an early age. As he was returning home one evening from a friends house, by the time he arrived, his house had been caught on fire. At the time and a few years later, hewas devastated. It was said that his mother was cooking over an open fire to cook a special dinner for Draco's birthday. However, she didn't set it up properly and caused the whole house to catch. Draco still misses his parents but he had long accepted their deaths.

Seiryuu is much like Draco. He is a kind and friendly dragon. He is not hard to get along with or befriend. However, he can get quite moody at times. Seiryuu gets embarrassed quite easily and doesn't like being teased. He isn't very confident in himself and is anxious in certain situations that dragons or people would not be. This lack of confidence in himself can sometimes be his downfall, but that is why Draco is there to help him. Essentially, he is Draco...just....less confident....and moody.
