Part 1: A7

She sat up, blinking, confused and curious. She opened her mouth, no sound came out, the room was filled with silence. Nobody came, nobody left, nobody was anywhere. She sat up, not on a bed, but against the cold, stone wall, it felt like a prison, no, even worse, it was a prison. She looked at her wrist, two glowing letters were burning into her skin, but she felt no pain, staring blankly at them until they had completely engraved themselves into her skin: A7.

She wondered what that could mean, A7? It sounded like the name of an experiment, she could be one, for all she knew. Finally standing up, she surveyed her surroundings. She still didn’t know what was happening, and where she was, but this place… it wasn’t a friendly place. She sighed and walked over to the door, it was cold steel, she touched it, her finger burning a small, smoking mark into the door. A grin was barely visible on her bloodless, pale face, she lifted her hand against, pressing hard against the door, which burned away like a piece of paper against fire.

Stepping through the door that had disintegrated, she found herself in a hallway, bright, glowing blue flames were floating around like spirits, as if guiding her. She followed them, until they reached a circular room, runes were visible on the stone walls, they didn’t burn away as she touched them, but just lit up in a bright red light. She walked in a wide circle, lighting up all the runes until a giant chunk of stone fell from the ceiling, it landed right in the middle of the room, revealing the sunlight.
