Winnie jumped again, but not as much as she had the first time. After catching her breath, she pointed towards the nearby forest.

"There's a girl who just moved here, and for some reason she just went into the forest." Winnie shrugged. "I guess my curiosity got the better of me." There was also a small sliver of concern for the girl. There were many rumors about the things that lurked in the woods, and while Winnie had never believed them before, certain recent...events, had made her a little less skeptical.

"Thank goodness that's over with." Winnie muttered. She hoisted up her backpack, then headed towards the exit. Suddenly, out of the corner of her eye, Winnie spied a girl practically sprinting for the forest. Wait.....Wasn't that the girl who had just moved to Princeville? What on earth was she doing? Curious, Winnie slowly followed after her. A part of her mind told her to go back and stay the heck away from the woods, but it seemed curiosity drowned out rational thinking, and she continued on.

Winnie sighed as she grabbed her lunch from her locker, then made her way into the cafeteria. She hadn't seen much of her "possible new friend" that day, so school ended up being just as dreary and boring as it usually was. Then again, considering the events of the previous day, Winnie supposed boring might not be such a bad thing. As she walked through the large doors of the cafeteria, Winnie peered at the large crowd of students, trying to see if she could find someone she somewhat recognized.

"O-oh, okay. See you!" Winnie called out. She sighed a little, then walked down the hall towards her locker. Along the way, she mostly avoided interacting with her schoolmates, with the exception of the occasional nod or "Hey.". Small talk had never been one of Winnie's strengths, and the types of conversations her peers held never really interested her anyway, so what was the point? She stopped in front of her locker door. She was about to open it, when the school hallway suddenly began shaking like an earthquake. Winnie leaned onto the lockers, desperately trying not to fall over.

"In here!" Winnie called. She was currently back in the kitchen, hastily munching on a piece of toast as she loaded up her backpack. Her eyes darted to the clock sitting on the wall nearby, each glance making her a bit more nervous. The brunette had spent the majority of the previous night tossing and turning in her bed, unable to get the events of that day out of her mind. Unfortunately, when she did finally get to sleep, it was for way too long, and now she was about to be late to school!

"Well, thats ridiculous." Winnie said. The microwave went off with a loud 'DING' and Winnie took the plate out of it. She grabbed a fork, and held it and the plate out to Charlie. Her eyes darted towards the dark aura, but her expression remained neutral.

"Maybe if those idiots had stuck around for a little bit, they would've seen the nice person I see in front of me right now. Now quit your worrying and eat up, this food ain't gonna be hot forever, you know."
