It was the next day. Jake got little sleep. But he didn't show it. Elizabeth and Sasha were smart enough to bring some food with them. They had a big meal set out for everybody. It was just snacks and chips, but that was good enough for Jake. He waited until everyone was up to tell them.
"Okay guys." Jake said. "I want to let you all know that the dark element is trying to corrupt me. And if it does that, if I show the slightest hint of wanting to harm any of you or any innocent people. I need you to promise me this."

As soon as Jake told them that he would be first on watch, Allen fell asleep. Sasha told him that she would do it, but he insisted.

Later that night... Jake looked over at Elizabeth. Her color bwas returning. And she didn't seem like she was going to steam up, so that was good.

But then Jake could hear something. Voices. "Kill... Kill them all." They were coming from inside his head. He resisted the power that the darkness has and tried to focus on the moon.

"it doesn't work like that." Jake said. "In fact, she needs to stay away from elemental powers for a little bit." He looked at Cam. "And you also need to wary of your powers. Use it up too much and it can incapacitate you. Don't use up your reserves."

Jake found the others there. Followed by Allen and Sasha.

They waited a few hours and Jake said, "I'm going out to find Elizabeth. Everyone else stay here and rest up."

Elizabeth was still in the Saharan Desert. She could barely move. Even though she was successful in killing the other Elementist, she thinks she about killed herself by using her reserves. She looked at her hand, which was on fire. She couldn't make it stop.

Jake disappeared and reappeared at different parts of the planet. He finally found her at the ruins of the Great Pyramid. "Elizabeth!" He picked her up. "You're not going to die on me."

Jake couldn't keep up this fight. The dark Elementist could tell. So Jake did one thing he could. He turned his whole body into soft soil, so the blade ran right through him, he then solidified and went behind him and crack! The guy's neck broke, he fell to the floor, unmoving. A black sphere appeared out of his body and drifted towards Jake.

Allen could feel the Element running through him. He brought his hands up, but the monster turned to goo.

Elizabeth fell down. She could feel her whole body burning. Her soul on fire. "Maybe I shouldn't have used my reserves." Just then a ball of light hovered over her, and then went into her.

Sasha threw some knives into the tornado and directed the winds until she finally stopped them and the man lay dead on the ground with the knives in him. A ball of static yellow electricity went into her. She suddenly felt more energized

Before Allen could react the monster was on him. He expected pain. But he found blood spatter in his face. He opened his eyes and realized what happened. "You can't let it get an element." The girl said. She had a sword impaled her. "Do it now before I die." Allen closed his eyes and lunged with the knife. It made a sickening thud. He opened his eyes and the girl was gone. In place of her was something. He thought it was an element, but it kept changing forms, and colors. Chaos he thought to himself.

Elizabeth knee she couldn't match Khufu's speed. But she has one thing he doesn't have. Power. He hasn't shown any real power. She tapped into her reserves. She knew this was risky, but couldn't let this guy drag it out. Her whole body was engulfed in green flames. She opened her eyes and let it burst out everywhere, blowing up the entire Pyramid in green fire.

Sasha made some tornadoes and sent them to the Electric Elementist way. At the very least, it confused him on where she was.

Jake and the dark Elementist clashed swords. He made a stone fist and punched him when their swords locked in place

Jake pulled out his sword. He faced the Dark Elementist. He waited for him to make a move. He isn't stupid. He has to know his enemy before he lets out his powers.

Allen stood there, shifting his feet. "So are you gonna, ya know, try and kill me and whatnot. For trying to get your element?"
The girl shook her head. "From what I've heard, we have met before in another universe." She passed him a knife. "You know what to do."
Allen looked at her. "Are you serious? I can't do this!"
He heard something land with a thud behind him. He turned around only to be smacked across the street by a monster.
The girl came to his aid. "We'll just have to wait a moment then. Let's take care of this Zorgron."

Elizabeth threw a fireball at the Light Elementist, but he was gone in a second. He reappeared behind her. "Marvelous how your 'scientists' found out about light. And how it is the fastest thing in the universe. It took me a millennia to finally get the speed down."
Elizabeth back elbowed him in his face, sending him flying down.

Sasha stood her ground. "I don't want to do this."
"But you have to. To save the world, blah blah blah. Thing about you heroes is this. You claim to be heroes, trying to save people. But you still murder. At least with the bad guys, you know that murder is part of the deal." He made a ball of electricity and threw it at her.
She barely dodged it and said, "don't make me do this!"

Jake could feel the dark Elementist nearby. He knew that he could draw him out if he used some of his powers. Dark Elementists were always the suckers for bloodlust and trying to get more power.

Allen kept walking and then he seen a girl. He hesitated for a moment and then walked closer. "Oh?" She said, noticing him.
"I'm looking for the Chaos element, you know where I might find one?"
Her eyes glowed yellow.(this is because she is one of the Ancients) "you're looking at her right now." She stood up. "I was actually waiting for you."

Elizabeth landed on top of the Great Pyramid. She waited for something to happen. That's when a man suddenly appeared in a bright light. He had a sword at the ready.
"Are you the Light Elementist?" She asked.
"I am the great Khufu." He said. "The Emperor who was mummified here, in the Great Pyramid. Chosen to be the light Elementist. And now I will kill you and take your Fire from you."

Sasha finally made it to Easter Island. She has never been there before, but could feel the whole place filled with energy. "Fancy seeing another Elementist here today." She turned around and found a man staring at her. "Too bad you're gonna have to die.
"I'm not going to die by the likes of you" Sasha retorted

Allen just took a stroll down the battle ridden streets. "Dang it!" He exclaimed. "They destroyed the donut shop." He snooped around to see if one donut survived the attack. No luck. "Back on the road" he said to himself.

As Elizabeth flew she couldn't help but wonder about everything. She is literally going to the Great Pyramid of Giza and there is most definitely going to be a battle there that might end with it in ruins. Would she be considered a criminal for destroying it, if it means saving the world?
Once Jake told her and the others everything, Sasha did the pleasure of doing all the research of possible areas and possible Elementists. And she gave Elizabeth a piece of paper with a few locations. But the one that struck her was the guy mummified at the Great Pyramid. He has to be it.

Sasha grew actual bird wings and flew off to the Easter Island. Even though there isn't a lot of electricity there, the energy levels are through the roof. It would be a perfect spot for an Electricity Elementist

Elizabeth grew firey butterfly wings. "To the Saharan Desert." She gave Jake a quick kiss on his cheek and flew off.
"If the other me's analytics were correct, I'll be heading to the Easter Island for the Electricity."
Allen looked around. "I'm just gonna wing it and hope for the best."
"I'm gonna see if I can draw the Dark Elementist attention to me." Jake said. "So everyone make haste out of here. Oh, and after we are all done, let's just meet by the Elemental deposit where most of you met"

"one more thing." Well said. "These other Elementists may be hostile when you meet them. Considering how the other way of obtaining an element other than it choosing you I'd that you kill another Elementist to gain that power."
Elizabeth frowned. Even though this sounds a bit different from what Jake described the other universe, she has a feeling of where to find light. And Sasha has an idea where she wants to go. And Allen.... Does he remember when Jake told him how he got the Chaos element?
"I hate to say it," Jake said. "But we'll have to split up. To find these other Elementists. They most likely won't be all in one big group. So let's make a decision on a rendezvous point after we get our chosen elements"

"hey, I'm the only jokester here." Allen laughed. "So what do we do?"
"And who is behind this?" Jake asked.
"Who is behind it?" Well asked. "I honestly don't know as of this moment, but I do know what your group needs to do."
"And that is?" Jake asked.
"You must find the New Elements, most likely owned by other Elementists and get it from them."
"New Elements?" Sasha asked.
"Kind of like a second generation of elements, like Pokemon. Dark, light, Electricity, and Chaos."
"Whoo! Chaos all the way!" Allen hollored.
"I'm going for Darkness." Jake said.
"But Jake..." Elizabeth started
"There is one thing you all should know." Jake interrupted her. "The Darkness Element corrupts the mind, body, and soul. Makes people do unthinkable things. Even those who are strong minded, strong will, strong emotions fall when having this element. It is when I took upon this element that it corrupted me, and then used me to take over what was left of the world. And after that, the universe. I'm the only one going for it, no exceptions. At least, if it's just me, you all can take me out. If there were more... I don't even want to know what would happen."

"it's been a long day for us all." Jake agreed. He then yelled, "Well!"
Allen looked around. "Well what?"
"Yes?" A man in Bronze age clothing appeared. He had white hair and pure white eyes. "Do I know you? Why did you call out my name?"
"From an alternate universe I do." Jake said. "Everyone, this is Well Marksworth. He is known as an Ancient, one of the earliest alien species of the universe." He turned to Well.
"Can you tell us anything about these monsters?" He asked, pointing at a dead one nearby."
Well's eyes widened. "They are simply known as the Zorgrons. An alien species almost as old as mine. But more dangerous."
"Would you know why they are here?" Sasha asked.
Well looked at them all. "It's clear they are hunting down Elementists."

And Sasha frowned. Cam was right. She ran it through her head a million times in search for an answer. She looked at everyone standing around, none of which show any symptoms of any kind of illness or disease. That's when she found the answer.
"It doesn't affect Elementists." She said.
Jake nodded, "that would make sense, since none of us were infected. But there is only one person who I know that knows the answers to everything."

Jake stopped walking. "It's too quiet." He said.
"Yeah?" Elizabeth said.
"Even with all that happened. When there is a first sign of safety, people usually come out and look around." Jake said. He opened a door and seen some bodies on the floor. He quickly shut it. "We need to get out of here now." He said.
"What? Why?" Elizabeth asked.
"I think they brought some kind of disease here too. Remember in social studies in highschool? When there was a war, a lot of times people used diseases that they are resilient or immune to to kill off the enemies like that." He grabbed her arm and rushed out of there.

"we need to head out." Sasha said. "Jake and Elizabeth might be in the city. That's where I at least saw her anyway."

Jake walked. "These monsters are immune to Elements."
Elizabeth looked at him. "How is that possible?"
He shrugged. "I don't know. But I do know that we have fought some enemies that were resistant to it. This is on a whole nother level. It seemed like brute force, and actual weapons do the best damage on them."
Jake seen something on the ground. He picked it up. It belonged to one of his students. Mystique. He looked around the whole area but couldn't find him. He even called out his name. Nothing. He sat down.
"It's my fault. My fault he's dead."
"Don't say that!" Elizabeth yelled. "This is a war. Nobody knew that this was going to happen Jake Stone! People die in wars. That's how it goes. But there is no blood. So I think he had to get out of the area."
Jake used some of his powers and did feel a disturbance on the ground that was left there a few hours ago. "Yeah."
Elizabeth pulled on his arm, "come on. We gotta see if Sasha and Allen are okay."
