Words cannot describe how amazing that drabble issss. The amount of detail you’ve put in such a short writing amazes me that I found myself rereading it over 20 times- And the ghost story, THAT WAS SO GOOD AHHH- *dies* On another note, wrote another thing today. While this was a submission for a contest outside of PH, I think it does suit the horror genre and I wanted to share it anyway. I was insipred by Seren’s drabble so I tried following a similar structure Link to that is here. [Read more] |

![]() 𝕮𝖔𝖑𝖑𝖎𝖉𝖊 music: shadow shadow - azari (eng cover by jubyphonic) status : pending proofread by ~Riko~ genre : horror summary: car collisions writing duration : +/- 30 minutes word count: 608 words As you stood there, your figure only illuminated by the bright moonlight, I was taken back to those moments we spent together. To that night I lost it all. At that moment, I felt lightheaded again. Just like that last night the two of us spent at the bar. Laughing against the strong music that blared around us, another drunk couple among the many. We were reckless and dumb, little did I expect that to lead us to our misery. I gripped the steering wheel and remembered how you looked at me on that very night. You stole glances at me as I sat in the passenger seat, a naughty smile always etched on your face. You were unsteady, the vehicle was moving wobbily as the alcohol slowly took over us. The moon was bright and it shone it's light onto my car, our car. As bright as a car's headlights. I relived the sudden flash, your screams as you pulled me into your arms, shielding me from what happened next. It had followed with a crash. I felt my heart break just like how all the windows had shattered from the strong impact of the collision. It was a grim memory, one I could never get over. But now, you stood there on the hood of the car. The moonlight making the sillehoute of your ghost visible. Every fine detail, your piercings, your hair and your beautiful face was captured, even as a spirit. You looked at me through the glass with the most gentle smile I've ever seen. I gripped the wheels harder as tears streamed down my cheeks. I miss you, I miss you so bad. "Sweetheart," your voice called out, clear and audible through the wind and glass. Even now your voice was still as silky smooth just like when you were alive. A comforting lullaby for my broken heart. It only fueled my tears to come faster. "Sweetheart, let's go home," you said. I looked into those eyes of yours, lifeless yet still warm as you tempted me. Your hands went through the glass panel and tried to stroke my hair like you'd always do to soothe me on the worst days, but all I felt was cold air. I smiled. Love had given me the best days of my life. Love was what led to my downfall, and now it'll also be the curse that chooses my fate. My eternal life. But I don't mind if it were all for you. These never ending days, I will gladly spend them with you, in a place better than this unforgiving world. "Take me home..." I said, joyfully through tears. The car collided and the engine froze. __ It was all over the news, another fatal car crash. Though this one seemed to more intentional. The driver had crashed into a tree tnough tests run cancelled the possibility of them being under the influence of alcohol and cameras showed that no other factor could have led to the tragedy. In addition to the recent crash, rumours have also spread in the area. People whispered about seeing two ghostly people sitting together under the tree, hearing laughter and running footsteps when seemingly no one was there. It was strange, and the increasing accidents that followed the day after did more to scare the public. After interviews with a number of people carried out by a private group, they had found out the victim had lost their partner a few days prior to the crash. Those invested into the supernatural published a tale online to speculate on the incident. It was called the Curse of Lover's Street ✧⋄⋆⋅⋆⋄✧⋄⋆⋅⋆⋄✧ END ✧⋄⋆⋅⋆⋄✧⋄⋆⋅⋆⋄✧ [Read more] |

He can already see the small traces of bright lights leaking out from the crack of the curtains, illuminating the darkness in the vehicle. The rumble of footsteps, the chatter of people, the beat of the music, and the general bustle that awaited him outside the door was enough to further drag his mood into the mud. While he dreaded having to attend the event, his father persisted. That annoying old man going on about making allies, associates, expanding the power of the House of Ophiuchus. Screw that, who cares what nonsense spurts out that man's mouth? A knock on the door interrupted him and he can tell it was his advisor, loyally following him around to aid the duke when needed and to make sure the walking catastrophe doesn't cause too much damage or harm to the poor living beings around him that have to deal with the wrath the man can potentially unleash. "Your Grace," he called out from outside, indicating that Alastair should get off. After a few minutes, he finally fixed his suit and opened the door, stepping out of the carriage. His mask was so reflective that, to go with the bright lighting, could blind anyone that dare land their eyes on him. It was a huge contrast to his other clothing which was dark except for the occasional glimmer of gold that lined his clothes and accessories. Upon leaving his vehicle, he was immediately escorted to the Grand Hall. It was admittedly rushed as the man had arrived quite late. His unpunctuality could be blamed on his childish attitude of having the usual heated argument with his father instead of getting ready early. Upon entering the spacious room, he immediately laid his eyes on a table serving the finest wines and beverages. He felt his advisor lay a hand on his shoulder. "Your Grace, you must remember the warning about your drinking," he reminded. Alastair shook it off. "You don't have to worry, I don't get drunk easily, it's fine," he said as he left the man and approached the table. With a glass in hand, he took occasional sips as he observed the people in the room. As the perfect balance of flavors of his drink soothed his earlier bubbling anger, he finally calmed down enough to act somewhat mature again. By stood there by the corner, trying to be unnoticed as he eyes those in the Grand Hall, watching those who seem to have more status and power, those from powerful houses, those who are well-known by the people, who are widely talked about. They all had something that he was missing. Composure, that's what it was. The ability to act rationally, the talent to charm. Sure, he was learning, but it will take him a while to master. In order to be a leader, though, he'll have to develop it. He took another sip as he stayed there, still and silent, watching the activities around him. [Read more] |

![]() 𝕱𝖑𝖎𝖌𝖍𝖙 music: jailbreak - neru ft. kagamine ren (eng cover by oktavia) status : pending proof read from ~Riko~ genre : fantasy (?) summary: three children harpies trying to break free from the restraints of the humans. writing duration : +/- 50 minutes word count: 1,393 words tw : none prompt: "A fantasy story with a sad ending" "What would the use of these wings be, If it were not the freedom of flight?" The harpy blew at the candle. The action was followed by a series of laughs from his companions. It was a change in atmosphere, a warmth in the cold neighborhood. The trio, blinded by childhood innocence, always somehow manages to escape the melancholic fate of life. It was a special day for them today, they weren't going to let the negativity around them taint it. This was their chance to be happy and they will embrace it open-heartedly. "Have you made a wish yet, Altair?" the girl asked. He nodded, a smile forming on his lips. Not able to speak, he simply nodded in reply, holding onto the small cupcake they managed to snatch, with a singular candle sticking out of the whipped cream. "I wish for our happiness, And everyone else's too, I wished that one day, We can touch the sky, Hug the clouds, Bathe under the sun, And feel the wind on our feathers..." He wished it with all his heart, he dreamt it dearly. The three looked up at the night sky, the darkness only illuminated by the shining moon, casting shadows from the bars above them that trap them. The barriers between them and the outside world, a huge cage. A streak of light shot through the sky and the girl beside him gasped in excitement. "Look guys, look! It's a shooting star!" she exclaimed, tugging at Altair's sleeve. His other friend let out a chuckle. "Well, guess it's Altair's birthday gift," Efron giggled. Altair shook his head and held both of his friends’ hands. "Let's wish together, I want to share this wish with you two" While the words couldn't leave his mouth, the two understood him. They smiled. "You're too nice Altair, right Wren?" Efron complimented, the girl nodded. "Well then, let's make a wish! Hurry, before the magic wears off!" she hurried the two before clasping her hands together and closing her eyes tight. Though she acted playful about it, the two know how serious she was about it. It was their only hope after all, what else could they depend on? The two followed Wren's actions. Altair prayed in his heart again. "Please, Grant us liberty From these bars that hold us...." ✧⋄⋆⋅⋆⋄✧⋄⋆⋅⋆⋄✧✧⋄⋆⋅⋆⋄✧⋄⋆⋅⋆⋄✧✧⋄⋆⋅⋆⋄✧⋄⋆⋅⋆⋄✧ He could tell something was wrong when he saw Wren the next day and so did Efron. The girl walked towards them with great sadness in her eyes as she approached them at the place they agreed to meet that afternoon. Worriedly, Altair put a hand on her shoulder and rubbed gently, concerned for his friend. The girl suddenly collapsed and broke into tears. "My wings.... they- the humans- cut them off," she admitted through sobs and hiccups. The eyes of her two friends widened. Altair's lips started to wobble as his friend's grief tugged at his heart. "No, no, why?" He pulled her into a tight hug as she cried into his shoulder and Efron followed afterward, the three comforting each other during this horrible moment. "Those humans are monsters, Cutting off our wings for accessories, Killing only to satisfy their greedy desire for luxury, Do they not know the pain we go through? Why, Why are they like this? Dear god, please..." He clenched his fist as the words choked his throat, unable to let them out, unable to express his thoughts. He silently held Efron in his arms, the tears flowing on their own soon afterward. "Please, have mercy on us." They didn't see her anymore afterward, they can only hope for the best. The joy they used to share in the past started to waver as the brightness of Wren was taken away from them. The two harpies held onto each other as they grieve her absence. ✧⋄⋆⋅⋆⋄✧⋄⋆⋅⋆⋄✧✧⋄⋆⋅⋆⋄✧⋄⋆⋅⋆⋄✧✧⋄⋆⋅⋆⋄✧⋄⋆⋅⋆⋄✧ "Altair!" He looked back to see Efron run towards him, he waved at his incoming friend. Without an explanation, Efron pulled at Altair's sleeve and pulled the two into an alley. His words came in hushed whispers "Listen, I found an escape route! Took an entire night of searching, but I found our door to the outside!" he whispered. Altair was stunned. Why did he go on such a dangerous expedition to the borders, his golden eyes were shadowed with worry. "Don't worry! I wasn't caught! Don't you see? We can make it out!" Efron continued enthusiastically, patting his friend's shoulder. "We can finally fulfill our wishes, Altair. Our dream! Her dream, your dream, my dream," he added in an attempt to persuade [Altair to follow his plan. With his friend’s confidence, Altair felt determined to get them out, so he easily bought it, nodding as he listened to Efron's escape plan. "We'll finally make it out, We can build a new life, Somewhere it's worth living for..." ✧⋄⋆⋅⋆⋄✧⋄⋆⋅⋆⋄✧✧⋄⋆⋅⋆⋄✧⋄⋆⋅⋆⋄✧✧⋄⋆⋅⋆⋄✧⋄⋆⋅⋆⋄✧ “It’s time, Tonight, We fly away from here” The two slipped past the human guards standing by the gates, their small children bodies made the task of sneaking past the watching eyes easier along with the darkness of the night. Their hearts raced as they climbed the stairs, level by level, towards the platform where those machines with propelling blades belonging to the humans would land. They just have to open the hatch with a switch to get outside. Efron looked back at Altair who was tailing behind him, a smile on his face, a genuinely happy one, the first in a while. Freedom was so close, they’ll be able to soar through the sky- “Stop you two” The familiar voice sent shivers down their spine. They looked back to see a face they knew too well. Efron’s face morphed into an expression of disbelief and Altair was not an exception from the feeling of shock that cursed through his body. “Wren. Is that you?” Efron asked, his voice shaky as he tried to fight the reality that just dawned on the two. She didn’t answer, instead she raised a gun and pointed it at the two. Altair’s feet were planted in place as he watched the girl who used to be their cheerful friend point the barrel of the weapon at his face. For a second, time stopped. The wind stilled and the sound of the nocturnal animals roaming along with the song of nature silenced. Then everything happened so fast. Too fast. Efron tackled Wren and pinned her to the ground, fighting for control over the gun. As the two twisted and turn on the stone platform, he looked at Altair. “Run! Now! Open the hatch and get out!” he shouted as he struggled to hold Wren back. “Please, go! You’re the only one who can fulfill our wish!” he pushed when he saw how hesitant Altair was. “No, it wouldn’t be the same without you Please, I cannot lose anymore.” But he listened anyway, pushing down the lever, the creaks and groans of the opening hatch alerted the nearby guards, but he’d be out before they manage to catch him. Efron smiled. “Thank you,” he said as he used his free arm to wave Altair goodbye, their very last. Altair nodded back, wiping the falling teardrops, and taking to the sky once the hatch opened just big enough for him to squeeze through. The night sky was beautiful without the bars obstructing the view. He could see the sea in the distance up high, the fresh air filled his lungs and the vast limitless horizon call out to him from beyond. As the sun rose, he stayed there, taking it all in. This was freedom. He made it out. He fulfilled their wish. Through happy tears, he smiled. For the first time, his voice came out. “I made it…” he said out loud, a tinkle carried by the breeze. A sudden gunshot could be heard, ringing out. The falling figure thudded on the grass outside. Blood stained the green grass. The small body lay under the rising morning sun. “I’m free…” ✧⋄⋆⋅⋆⋄✧⋄⋆⋅⋆⋄✧ END ✧⋄⋆⋅⋆⋄✧⋄⋆⋅⋆⋄✧ [Read more] |

![]() 𝕿𝖍𝖊 𝕾𝖙𝖔𝖓𝖊 𝕬𝖓𝖌𝖊𝖑 music: shadow shadow - azari (eng cover by jubyphonic) status : pending edits, already proofread genre : horror summary: the story of a black cat who tried to free a trapped soul in an angel statue writing duration : +/- 45 minutes word count: 2,209 words tw : small mentions of blood and murder The black cat stretched, waking up from it's nap. The silence of the abandoned house greeted the little creature's awakening. It gazed up at the rundown building, it's glorious build long past it's prime. The golden railings of the balcony has long lost it's shine and the dim moonlight illuminated the cracked walls and broken windows. What happened to this mansion, one may ask. No one knows. It was a place long forgotten in time, bringing with it the memories of the people who lived inside of it. The remnants of the family, memories, treasures, stories, all forgotten and turned into dust. The cat leaped onto one of the pillars by the front door was stood ajar, left open for beings to pass through. Both the living and the dead, that is. The reek of death in the house almost stinged the animal's nostrils just as much as the cold atmosphere made it's hair raise and stand on it's ends. Though this wasn't it's first time coming here, it never failed to creep it. The black cat stepped in. Welcomed by the statue of an angel, it's wings crumbling and face deformed, as if they could feel the pain of it's wings slowly falling. The cat leaped onto the stone arm that pointed towards above, towards the sky, where heaven would have been. The angel's home, where they should be. The cat heard a faint cry. Help The cries grew louder. The cat meowed in response, leaping off the statue and raising it's ears. The sudden drop in the temperature made it let out an involuntary shiver. Help me A drop of water fell onto the animal's head from above it. The black cat looked up to water streaming down the statue's face. It answered with another meow. "What is wrong, dear angel?" the cat asked. The voices were a normal thing to it. It wasn't as if it hadn't gotten used to the occasional screams and cries of the restless spirits surrounding the house, though being able to actually communicate to one was new to the creature. It waited for a response. Trapped The words came slow, in single bursts. The cat listen intently as the voice spoke, a sad tale illustrated with a sad melody of the whispering wind and the heavy heart of the ghost. I was cursed My soul is now trapped in this statue I want to leave here in peace But my wings are clipped and my hands are chained Little creature, will you help set me free? The words all put together, the cat nodded. The stream of water from the statue started to slow and soon stopped, the damp stone starting to dry. Thank you little one, god bless To release the curse, you'll have to gather a few materials The sigils around the mansion will aid you Good luck, and thank you again... As the last word resonated through the empty room, the air warmed up slightly, thought still retaining a small chill due to the presence of the many lingering souls. The cat set to work on finding the items to start the ritual. A glowing sign was already waiting by the door to the garden. Lily of the valley petals The cat wandered to the mansion garden, most of the flowers withered from being neglected for so long. In it's place were weeds and thorns. The cat did catch the glimpse of the small white petals in the distance and approached it. A sudden humming made it stop in it's tracks. It looked to it's right, the shadow of a small girl sat by the broken wooden bench, looking at the sky. She looked back and saw the black cat. Though faint, the cat could make out a small smile from the ghost as she patted the empty spot besides her, beckoning the cat to sit there. It followed. It's a surprise to see you here little kitty. Off on an adventure are you? I used to roam these gardens. I would be here, watching the clouds, painting, reading. Life was peaceful. It's a shame it all had to go down to this. The cat felt curious and decided to ask the spirit a question that lingered in it's mind. "Did you live here? May I ask how you died?" I don't remember, kitty. All I can say was someone murdered us. Took our lives and disappeared without a trace. Our deaths aren't known by the world. It's sad. The cat felt bad for the ghost, it tried to rub it's tail to comfort her, but all it felt was cold air. The ghost giggled at it's efforts. When you get out, tell everyone about our story, okay? Just as the cat was about to answer, the ghost dissapeared, the cold air soon went along with her. The cat stood up went on to continue it's task. It returned to the hall with a mouthful of the small white petals. It accidentally swallowed a few but surely it wouldn't do it any harm. It scattered the flowers in a circle around the statue. After all the petals were laid down, it walked towards the kitchen to find clues for the next item. Sure enough, a sigil was under the table. Bird carcass It seems like it will have to hunt for one as the fridges and cabinets don't seem to have a dead bird lying around. The cat set out again, this time in the area close to the lake. The water was still, the night almost making the place creepier as the black waters hide omimous things in it's depths. The call of a magpie brought the cat back to it's senses and it didn't take long for the animal to pounce on the bird, biting onto it and killing it swiftly. Carrying the kill in it's mouth, it headed back to the house. A gunshot rang behind it. The cat looked back. There stood a man holding a rifle, looking happy. The cat padded towards the spirit, who looked at it with a grin. I see you've got a kill too? I used to spend my days here hunting birds. Still do, even if it were just my imagination. The cat decided to ask the man the question again, searching for answers. "You lived in this house, right? How did you die?" it asked. The man lowered his gun. It was foolish of me to move here in the first place. The house was known for countless murder happenings, but my greed let it slide. The luxurious mansion was cheap so my family moved in. Didn't take use long to meet the same fate. I don't remember exactly how I died, but I am very sure this mansion was cursed. I'm glad no one is staying here anymore. Again, the cat tried to comfort the spirit, but sadly was met with the same result. "I will make sure people out there will avoid the same fate. I will share your story," the cat assured the man. The ghost smiled. Thank you, all the best... His shadowy figure slowly dissapeared until his presence completely vanished. The cat went on. The dead magpie was laid right in front of the statue, the fresh kill still oozing blood which stained the stone a crimson color. The next clue was on the upper floor in one of the bedrooms. Candles And conveniently enough, the items laid right besides it. The cat grabbed them and put them downstairs, putting them in intervals around the statue to form a hexagram. It didn't meet any spirits along the way so it continued it's job. After some searching, the next sigil was found on the lower floor leading to the basement. Alcohol The cat wondered where it would get that. The dizziness it was feeling didn't help it either. It looked around for a bottle of it somewhere. Finally it found one hidden in the cabinets in the basement, collecting dust in the corner. It started making it's way up. A scream echoed through the room. The cat jumped in surprise and puffed up it's fur in defense. It saw the ghost of a woman who was in a panic, pointing towards the wall. The cat looked towards it. There was nothing there. "What's wrong?" the cat asked the freightened spirit. The woman answered shakily. Here. I was killed here. It wasn't a person, the killer, I'm certain. It has the horns of the devil, the body of a monster. The woman shook her hand at the cat, motioning at it to leave. You must leave! Before it gets you! Shoo! The cat sped out of the basement and returned to the ground floor, hearing the door to the room lock shut behind it. Some of the liquid spilled while he was in the rush and the horrible sour taste stinged the cat's tongue. It drizzled the liquid to connect the candles before drenching the dead bird with the remaining fluid. It was about to set out for the next one when the sigil burned right in front of him, glowing at the base of the statue. Blood The cat was suddenly overcome by a blinding headache and horrible dizziness that made it wobble on it's feet. But it can't give up, it was so close to releasing the poor soul. Not wasting anymore time, it chomped down on it's arm, the pain was nothing compared to the throbbing in it's head. It let the blood trail as it made a circle around the carcass, finally closing the connection with all the items. As the candles lit, the creature collapsed onto the floor. The whispers in the house got louder to the point it blared at the poor hurting cat. The candle flames flared and a sudden flash brightened the room as the ritual was completed. The cat tried to recover from the blinding lights and slowly opened it's eyes. However, instead of waking up as a cat, it saw it's own limp, black body laying on the ground below, the cut not healing and leaving the dead body in a puddle of blood. It started feeling scared and tried to move but he couldn't shift a single muscle. A laugh greeted the panicked creature, one so menacing it brought chill up it's spine. It witnessed as the magpie flew around it, landing on it's dead body. The bird's red eyes glowed menacingly. "Well done, kitty. You've released me. After being stuck in that statue for so long. I am finally free," the bird said. "What have you done to me?" the cat asked, it's voice clearly frightened. The bird let out a laugh. "You ever heard the saying 'curiosity kills the cat'? Well that's what led you here. You talked to the spirits. You know their stories. I cannot let you carry them to the outside world," the magpie answered. "You see, I am the curse of this house. I kill the residents to keep myself alive with their soul energy, captivating my victims to live in this house only to kill them later," the bird admitted. "Until that stupid man caught onto me and decided to seal me into that stupid statue. I killed him to stop him but I got sealed in the end anyway. 15 years I rotted in that cursed stone angel waiting for an oppurtunity. Until you came~" they continued. "Now I am free once more, I can bring back this house to it's former glory, strengthen my curse. All thanks to you," it said happily, flapping it's black wings. "What happens to me? " the cat asked worriedly. The bird flew towards it's face. "Don't you see what you have become? In order to free me a soul must be swapped into the statue. I must say, you do look quite fancy as an angel," it teased. "Enjoy the rest of your days trapped in there" it ended as it flew away into the night, ignoring the cries of the soul of the cat in the stone. ✧⋄⋆⋅⋆⋄✧⋄⋆⋅⋆⋄✧✧⋄⋆⋅⋆⋄✧⋄⋆⋅⋆⋄✧✧⋄⋆⋅⋆⋄✧⋄⋆⋅⋆⋄✧ The man followed the adress on the brochure and eventually reached the mansion. He gawked at how huge and fancy the place was. The golden railings shined, the gardens flourished, the lake's crystalline waters twinkled brightly under the sunlight in the distance. This was definitely a dream home, he was surprised the price was so low. He couldn't wait to bring his fiancee here with him. He excitedly took his luggae out the back and made way to the front door, unlocking it with the key. He was greeted with a beautiful marble statue, the angel holding a bowl that slowly streamed water into the small pool below it like a mini fountain, the water coming out of it's eyes as if it were crying. As the man was about to walk to the upper floor, a small voice called out to him. Help The man's face went pale as it looked towards the direction of the voice, the angel statue no longer had water flowing through it. Instead, it was replaced by a red liquid flowing down it's eyes that started to taint the clear water Help me... ✧⋄⋆⋅⋆⋄✧⋄⋆⋅⋆⋄✧ END ✧⋄⋆⋅⋆⋄✧⋄⋆⋅⋆⋄✧ [Read more] |

![]() ![]() X 𝕬𝖘𝖒𝖔𝖉𝖊𝖚𝖘 𝕴𝖈𝖍𝖔𝖗 "Good and evil lay side by side" Villain by Stella Jang - English Cover ↻ ◁ II ▷ ↺ 1:35 ───ㅇ───── 3:47 He was worried. Very worried. The situation was getting out of hand. He could feel the ground rumbling as the man behind them wipe out half of the army, yet missing those who managed to escape his death spell. Raziel had already readied his rapier, though he hardly believed the thin blade would outmatch the swords. It was better then sitting around and not being ready and armed at all at least. Though the mountains prove to be advantageous for the group, it certainly means the other side would be the same. High grounds are the ideal spot for archers and long ranged weapon users so it was no surprise when the small group was met with flying arrows straught at them like heavy rainfall. Raziel steered the horse clear from it while defletcing a few with the quick swipes of his weapon, though the incoming wave of soldiers were going to be more of a difficult feat. He gulped. They were doomed... No. He shook his head and steeled himself again. He was done being a baby, it was time to grow up and face the wrath of the unforgiving world. No more fear, no more hesitation. Then came Suko's command. Raziel looked back in time for them to jump off and dissappear into the bushes, their small figure easily blending in and their green hair soon out of sight, matching the shade of the leaves. It would be difficult to find them with how stealthy they are. He was glad to know that they would be able to find a way to safety. Now he had to think of him and Erika. Though he assumed she was already preparing to follow suit with Suko, he didn't get the chance to make sure as an arrow found a spot on his horse's leg. Panicked, the animal bucked and threw Raziel off, tossing the light boy somewhere further off to the edge of the mountain. He didn't manage to grip onto the rocks so he tumbled down and ended up landing in a thorn bush, much to his dismay. With silent yelps and grunts of pain, he shook himself out, dropping on the grass, exhausted and worn out. He could hear the usual bustle of people, a sign of a nearby community, he sat up. Were they close to the village already? Ignoring the stings, he stood and brushed the dirt of his clothes. With how quiet it was, he was probably away from the fighting area, but he held his rapier out just in case. More importantly now, though, he had to find the others. Was Suko and Erika alright? What about Asmodeus?- "Hey" The sudden voice made the boy jump and extend his arm with the rapier. The person was quick and managed to avoid the blow, strongly gripping his hand and causing the boy to drop his weapon. "You stupid idiot, don't just point your sword like that without looking, you could've stabbed your own allies," Asmodeus warned angrily. Raziel was washed with both the feeling of relief and the usual concern. Good,he thought, he was still alive. Which meant there was a still a chance for Raziel to get murdered in his sleep. He diverted his attention to the drippinng liquid on the man's arm, his eyes widened. "You're bleeding!", he pointed out. Asmodeus didn't do much as a shrug. "And?"," he replied. He wasn't given an answer as the boy took his bleeding arm and dragged the man over to the nearest water source they can find, a stream which was probably connected to the village somehow. There, his wounds were cleaned and treated with a kit the boy brought along in his satchel. Asmodeus observed the boy the whole time, noting how shaky Raziel's hands were as they wrapped the cut with cloth. "You surprise me, boy," he started, breaking the silence. Raziel tied the knot on the finished wrap. "Why so?", he mumbled back, looking at man in the eyes and feeling that same chill from before, the usual coldness of Asmodeus's gaze. He still can't get over it, still can't stop having a shiver dowm his spine from it. "You know I'm a criminal. You know I'm here to kill you. You very much know the rewards you can get for turning me in. "And your point is?" Asmodeus let out a laugh. Funny how he's a scholar but can be so stupidly dense. "I'm just surprised you're treating me. I thought you would've let me out here to bleed to death. Wouldn't that be a weight of your shoulders?" Raziel considered his words before he answered, packing all the tools back into his satchel while he explained. "I have this weakness that I just can't bring myself to think that every bad person can change. I still see everyone as a friend, no matter how they evil they can be," he said. He looked up at Asmodeus, who seemed to be very focused to his words. "I just want to believe that everyone is a good person and are only bad because they were treated lowly. I want to believe that I can change those who have gone down the wrong path if I believe in it, if I treat them right," he continued with a nod. "That is my dream," Raziel ended. He watched for the man's reaction. Surely enough, Asmodeus's lips curved into a smile. "It's wishful thinking boy, you can't change every rotten apple out there," he stated. Raziel sighed. "I know," he simply admitted. The man got up from the log he was sitting from. "But you said exactly what I expected you to say. You're just like him, aren't you?," he said, getting a confused look from the boy. Asmodeus shook his head. "Eh, it's nothing. For now we better find you friends, if they're alive. Ought to be around here somewhere," he said, diverting their attention. Raziel nodded in agreement and got up from the log. "Are you really going to work with us? With me?" Raziel asked. Asmodeus walked ahead of him. "Maybe? Maybe not. Who knows?" he answered as he walked towards the knee high bushes. He was just like him, as he expected. Maybe that was why he was hesitating. Whenever he looked at the boy, he couldn't help but see a glimpse of the man who had shown him there was still some good in this world. He let out a mental smile. So Raziel is your little brother, isn't he, Raphael Lux? [Read more] |

Hunterz~Wolf Name: Oriane Rebane [aka. The Solar Fox] Personality: Oriane has quite the bubbly nature, a bright and energetic ball of sunshine. With how loud she is, it's a suprise an individual like her earned a spot in the top ranks of stealthy theives, agents and pick pockets. She's known for her cunning and sly behaviour similar to a fox, earning ner the nickname. While normally playful and acting younger than she actually is, Oriane is very reliable, responsible and loyal, her beliefs hard to sway and her determination difficult to falter. She is, however, highly sensitive to other people's thoughts towards her and, growing up alone, can be quite clingy sometimes, a slight annoyance to those who knew her. She also tends to think with her heart rather than her head and may act on impulse under panic, strong emotions or rush. Appearance: img or words Abilities: Max 8.
