As the General paid the man who gave him the ship, he started rigging the sails. Freyr came up behind him and started helping out.

"General, with all due respect, your explanations kinda suck."

The General glared at Freyr. "We have little to no idea what those creatures are. Do you think I know what we're doing? Anyway, a room next to the galley has some weapons. Go and supply yourselves. We need to get moving as fast as we can."

Felicia had made her way to the deck and was bathing in the sun, curled up and dozing.

	The General was already gone. Freyr sighed and handed the map to Shirin. He nodded at Okami and set the gator down, heading off Northwest. Felicia trotted off after Freyr, and then looked back at Shirin, and then the map, her tail wagging happily. [Read more]

"Well, that is positive, but we don't know yet. Here's a map. I only got one, share and get to the boat." Again, he disappeared into the trees, heading off to the boat.

Felicia wriggled happily in Freyr's arms after receiving the bits of ice. Freyr picked up the map and was careful to hold it away from Felicia. She was trying to snap at the map.

"Erm... Directly Northwest. I think. Shirin, Alexandria, can you double check that?"

"Well... I have a boat that can fit all of us. Some of you will have to share rooms. But we'll just try to talk the entities out of wreaking havoc or something. I don't know. Also, the thing isn't coming."

Felicie was about the size of a Borzoi, and her tail was wagging when Freyr said that she would come, so Freyr took that as a yes.

	The General sighed for the hundredth time that hour. "After this, we'll head out. An island nearby has entity sightings. Not the possessed, but the entity itself. The General looked at Freyr, as he seemed to be the owner. Freyr raised his hands.

"Felicia does what Felicia does. I'm just the fabric supplier."

The General rolled his eyes. In his hand, appeared small blocks of ice. A gem in one of his buttons glowed as the ice blocks grew. He passed them around to each one of them.

"Break the ice. I don't even know what to do at this point."

The General, who had a hard time counting, had conjured one to many. He tossed it to Felicia, who excitedly chomped away on it. Freyr tossed Felicia his.

Felicia tilted her head, curious at the two. She scampered over to Freyr and started tugging and his sleeve. He sighed and sat down to give her a better grip.

"Felicia's been attacking my coats for years now. She used to have a mate, but I don't know where he went."

He used his other hand to rub the creature's scales.

"She'll decide who she likes more soon. I think."

She tugged at his sleeve and got another mouthful of cloth. She happily waddled to the General and dropped the cloth. The General raised an eyebrow and ignored it.

	Freyr nodded to her. A lionlike alligator was dozing next to him, a piece of cloth was in her teeth. A bit of his coat was missing too. The General opened his eyes. Freyr caught Four's head before it hit the ground. As Four was slightly unconscious, Freyr lifted him carefully and set him on the bed.

When Four had thrown the syringe, it had shattered on the wall and a shard had cut a bit of Freyr's ear. Blood dripped down to Freyr's coat. Sizzling sounded as it melted through the coat, his sweater, and finally sizzling onto Freyr's skin. Burn marks quickly spread from his shoulder up to his neck.

He didn't seem to notice and/or care.

Freyr watched Shirin go, but went another direction. He had come to this area many times with his family before the entities arrived. Because of that, he knew a shortcut. He approached the swamp.

A bit in the distance, standing in a plain, the Great Oak. He could two people sitting there already. The General. And someone else... Freyr moved fast, careful not to linger too long on a certain log or creature. As he dashed from one object to another, he made it closer to the shore. Just as he jumped to solid ground, Snap. A creature, resembling an alligator and lion put together snapped at him. It tugged at his coat. Freyr rolled his eyes and looked back.

"Felicia. Stop."

The creature shied away. Freyr sighed. Every time.

Freyr rolled his eyes at Alexandria and pulled out a notepad. It was full of neat handwriting. He jotted down a new observation and looked it over.

"The entity I've been tracking seems to prefer to hi-jack taller people. Probably reflecting the entity itself. Easier to ease into it, if you know what I mean."

He turned and looked at the newcomers. He nodded respectfully and kept flipping through his notes.

The General, on the other hand smiled at the newcomers.

"Welcome. You're late." His face fell into a serious one at the last remark.

	When Aven burst in, Freyr jumped and shoved the drawer full of his stuff closed. The coin fell out of his pocket and he quickly stooped to pick it up. "Aven. Try knocking please." There was blood rushing to his head. Close call. A second too late and Aven would've seen the devices. [Read more]

The General glanced at the man.

"Now the thing is. These forms of the entities are not as dangerous as the entities themselves. It can only rely on the power of the host itself."

He pulled out a small pepper and shoved it into the man's mouth.

"Just put anything that's extremely spicy, salty, or sweet in their mouths and they should be back."

As he had said, the man morphed back into himself and began to snore softly.
