She was reading a book when she a fellow slytherin walking into the library she looked at his puffy eyes and hoped he was okay. She clutched her arm and tried not to groan as pain surged through her arm. She went back to reading as she was twirling her hair with her other hand. She put back her other book and searched for one about defense against the dark arts. When she found she headed back to her spot to continue reading. She new she was already decent at dueling put she new with the dead student she'd have to practice way more to stay safe.

There has been a rip in the fabric of reality that is leading many to an unknown dimension. Scientists have been trying to close the portal, they decided to call this dimension the "Mars Verse" many have tried to figure out what's in there but few have come out and the ones that have escaped arent sane, The government has called on anyone sixteen and up to help close the portal. Well, that must be fun, anyways people have started operation Ares to send people in. You must be wondering why this has Ares/Mars and what this has to do with that well if you know about greek or roman mythology you must know Ares the Greek god of war well this is such a bloody place people have been driven insane and yeah the same thing with Mars he's the roman god of war. Besides that, some people have been seeing strange things scientists believe that monsters are actually coming out out of the portal, some have reported having seen others who suddenly get green glowing eyes with green mist surrounding them saying "The cursed blade shall reap."

Close portal or operation Ares: she'd very much like to do both but trying to close the portal is good enough for now.
Talents: She has fast reflexes and is a very cunning graduate of Harvard
Weakness: She's always been afraid of being critiqued or judged or having someone disappointed in her.
Weapons?: She's always kept a dagger with her as her childhood neighborhood wasn't the safest place to be.

Briar was in the tavern taking a quick break as she started picking off a few bits of dirt off her jacket, she seemed to take well care of her jacket as it's important to her. She sat down and put her hands in her pockets she was used to all this commotion and closed her eyes she thought and thought then she knit her eyebrows and took something out of her pocket, she grinned for a moment put the paper back and just listened to all of the noise. Then an earthquake, she was completely shaken up, she had no idea what to do... she clutched her stomach she was nervous and sure she was going to lose her last meal.

"Dueling, how lovely..." Rayne thought "I know Harper would like this". Rayne was devastated as the school year would be replaced with dueling and offensive dueling 24/7. "This would be the worst school year yet. I'm horrible at dueling ever since the "incident" with my mother." she hated the killing curse with a burning passion.

Harper was exited as she enjoyed wizard duels she didn't enoy asking poeple to duels but being part of ne exited her. She was also worried as her sister wasn't eactly the best at duels. She hoped the school year would start to become normal soon.

Personality: Briar doesn't enjoy chatting as she's bound to get bored and nervous and is usually tired so that doesn't help much. It's just something about talking she just doesn't enjoy conversations, she also prefers to stay in the background, never catching too much attention. She doesn't enjoy being in the spotlight and is quite lonely but she doesn't mind that and enjoys solitude. Because of her being quiet she is a pretty good thief and does what she needs to do to survive one day she promised herself she would see the land again. She enjoys wearing her light olive green aviators jacket, as that was a gift from her parents on her birthday her white shirt underneath also tends to get smudged with dirt. when she's nervous she tends to bite her lip, also she just socially awkward
Backstory: She used to be a very kind, loud energetic person but after she saw her family killed before her eyes she hasn't been the same and she only got out alive with her "power" of silence it took her a while to escape and she hoped the murderers thought she was dead, but besides that, she is a great artist who hopes she can live up to her sister's expectations, she knows her family wouldn't want her to be this way she is also pretty good at being a nurse and has seen her sister healing people so many times she only wishes she could've saved her family. She has been wanting revenge ever since.

"Welcome to camp half-blood!, a camp meant for all sorts of demigods. Welcome back old campers! Everyone, please head to your tables remember if you haven't been claimed you may just go to the Hermes table." says Chiron, "More demigods." Dionysus mutters bitterly. Someone started to push their way out of the crowd it was Percy Jackson son of Poseidon, "Everyone you must be hungry, so dig in!" he yelled. "Calm down seaweed brain" someone else started to say, it was Annabeth Chase a daughter of Athena, "Okay okay," he said back. "Enjoy breakfast," said Annabeth "She's really sca-" before Percy could finish Annabeth pulled him away as Chiron gestured them to move towards him. After that, some campers started to eat the food the harpies had served.

Meanwhile, Nicole was sitting at the Athena table with a pouch in her hands. She crept away from the table before she started to get picked on and yelled at by the Ares kids, she walked to the beach it was nice and sunny but she knew how beautifully the moon shined on the water. She opened the pouch revealing dog treats and a whistle with that she knew the orthrus would come towards her running. When she blew the whistle the hellhound was only a few feet away, when the doggy came closer she told him "Heel," and it did as she said she grabbed the treats the size of her palm, and in silence as she fed and pet the doggo.

Literacy// I'd say semi-literate but I tend to write 1-4 paragraphs
and I go back into my posts every now and then to fix spelling,
I try to keep the plot exciting.

Just as Rayne was about to pet Spike Harry potter appeared, except guess what patronus time. She hesitated for a few moments as beads of sweat trickled down her forehead and then she thought of her happiest memory and "Expecto patronum," she cast her patronus a shiny silver tiger appeared infront of her. "There I guess," she said she wasn't too anxious about the topic.

Harper stood shocked infront of her was Harry Potter the Harry potter, she looked at her sister waiting for her to breakdown hoping she was okay she cast her patronus "Expecto patronum," she said and the tasmanian devil appeared before her eyes. After casting the spell she asked "I-Is Hermoine here?". Harper looked up to Hermoine so much she wanted to be part of the ministry of magic, but she could only hope for the best.

very kind and cuddly when treated fairly but be careful when it's hungry.
Personality: She's made of some stuff Athena didn't want in her children for example she has an average of 80-60 on tests Athena didn't want her children to be anything but A+ students and she also has black hair instead of blond. Nicole doesn't care but her mother does Athena gave Nicole to a random she saw (not smart for the goddess of wisdom) guy luckily at first her stepdad was nice but eventually her life started to stink, she very much resents Athena and won't call her mom, mother or anything she hate's that it took her mo three years to claim her, and besides that she's shy and isn't a natural-born leader like her siblings she is only brave when she needs to be and got some admirable qualities of Athena on her own other than that she usually has her head buried in a book. After class Rayne put all her books in the dorm and simply grabbed her sketchbook, a pencil, and a little bag. She then headed outside and sat down next to a big tree she blew the whistle on her necklace and for a hot moment, nothing happened and then wind roared in her ears and a chestnut-colored hippogriff appeared at her side. "Daybreaker!" she said with excitement "Here you are! Oh you must be tired," she opened the little bag and fed him a few worms.

Rayne was muttering a few things while finishing up her notes and packing up her stuff, she grabbed all her books and headed to her next class. "Daybreaker, maybe I'll use the whistle later," she thought hoped Lester was taking good care of Daybreaker she touched the whistle on her necklace. "Daybreaker is probably in good hands after all Lester is a graduated student of Hogwarts," she reassured herself.
