Haruna glanced between the group, her violet eyes narrowed. In all honesty, she didn't get a good feeling from any of this group. And while she had now gotten the hang of being quadrupedal, she could definitely tell that at least one of the others was still struggling. Which meant, in the possibility of being put in danger, she could easily flee if they attacked her first. That was reassuring enough, even if she knew that Dust was completely used to being.. a rock, actually.

The Eevee shuffled her paws in place, tearing a bit at the dirt and grass below her due to her claws being extended. She didn't realize how comforting that felt until she started doing it.. so maybe she'll keep on doing it, for fun.

"If you try anything, Dust, just know that I have.. claws. Claws, for a reason."

Maybe that'd be threatening if she was still a human. Being incredibly tall as a human was her one saving grace, and towering over people did frighten them into submission whenever she felt endangered.. had a tendency to work.

The smokescreen had taken Haruna by surprise. Some of the smog had stuck to her fur, much to the Eevee's dismay. See, she does care for hygiene, even if her previous occupation as a field-oriented meteorologist had the fun addition of making it difficult to not be covered in mud after treks through a marsh. All the same, she didn't enjoy the feeling and the smell. All of it was just so.. gross. It made her feel gross.

When it all had cleared up, and Dust had introduced herself, Haruna's silent shock was replaced with her usual, tough girl exterior as she tried to comprehend the situation.

"Whatever that was about, I don't care. I am not dealing with your petty little royal feuds with random murderous goths."

She stomped her paws, scrunching her nose. If she wanted more answers, though.. she supposed she'd have to comply.

Haruna jumped in surprise, small claws coming out of hiding in her white paws. After the initial shock, she looked ready to fight something. Her tail was lashing more aggressively now, and her fur was bristling. The Eevee was simply not having it. But before the attack hit, some.. rock Pokémon thing that she simply did not recognize off the top of her head had slammed into the dark figure.

"What the-"

Her confusion was justified, right? After all, being taken so off-guard by the sight of what could only be described as some sort of fight was natural. She wasn't trying to actually fight someone, but clearly others did not have the same idea.

Okay, maybe she should bite someone soon.

Haruna continued to stomp her paws against the ground. She didn’t trust the Zoroark for a moment, and she would make it very clear that she had her suspicions set directly on the other. She didn’t care for the Zoroark’s offer of ‘where they were’. She didn’t trust her.

"Unless you’re miraculously able to have infinite knowledge of the universe—which I sincerely doubt.. there’s no reason why you should know.. any of how we ended up here."

The Eevee was tramping over to the Zoroark and Noibat, her nose scrunched. Haruna was not the social type, but she would not stand for anyone trying to be all high-and-mighty, or whatever Haruna thought was going on. As far as she knew, the Zoroark was the reason that she ended up like this.

A small (larger than average, actually) puffball with little paws that she was bound to trip over? No thanks. She prefers snow boots. At least those are more reasonable for a human being to trip over.

Haruna was, reasonably, confused. She sprang to her paws (Wait- Paws?) and whirled to face the Noibat. The Eevee's tail lashed back and forth, almost instinctually. Something she didn't do herself, but something of enough note to make her turn slightly and stiffen at the sight of the fluffy tail. Her white paws stomped against the forest floor as she tried to stop the lashing about that her striped tail was doing.

No, she's not used to it. Being a human by nature was completely acceptable, but being turned into a Pokémon was enough whiplash for the meteorologist, thanks!

"Does it look like I'm alright?" she snapped, ears flattening back. Ah, an unintentional instinct again. Haruna was going to claw off someone's ears if they didn't tell her what was going on, though.

Another member of the group, a tabby-striped Eevee, simply shifted in place a bit. Rolling to her side, she stretched and flexed her paws. Ugh. She felt a little weird; a little dizzy, actually, but that was entirely besides the point.

However, Haruna had rolled right into one of the streams of light that shone down from between the breaks in the leaves. Growling slightly, she rolled back over and opened her eyes. She twitched her nose and sneezed. Something was off, though. It was definitely an unnatural feeling, and unnatural feelings usually meant danger. So, like any reasonable person, she was looking around.

Haruna is taller than average. While most Eevee are only 30.48 cm, Haruna stands at 55 cm even. She is also very thin and lanky, which makes sense. Her fur is also very dark when compared to a normal Eevee's. The brown is a darker shade, but the ruff around her neck and the tip of her tail are both stark-white; as are her paws and underbelly. She has piercing violet eyes and tufts on her ears.

Upon evolution, Haruna becomes even taller. Towering over other Espeon, who normally stand at 90 cm, at a staggering 104 cm, Haruna is an absolute menace to Espeon as a species. She has dark violet stripes, similar to tabby stripes on a cat, on her body. The "whisker" tufts that Espeon normally have has simply become longer, curlier fur. Also, her fur in general is much fluffier. The jewel on her head is also black, appearing more like a black star sapphire than a ruby, The white fur on her paws and underbelly from when she was an Eevee are still retained.
Personality:
Haruna is highly intelligent, first of all. Analytical and cold, the woman could probably see through most people's facades of kindness and find a crueler side beneath. However, she's also very untrusting and comes off as rude. Well, she certainly is, but that's just because of her trust issues. She's always on edge until she finds someone who she can put her faith in.

she's a danganronpa oc who got adapted into a pokemon oc so i haven't rewritten her backstory yet. just assume it's all more realistic.
Haruna was born November 1, 2XXX to Eito Kobayashi and Nishi Watanabe-Kobayashi. She was an only child and had few friends growing up because of her rude and arrogant nature. However, she did have a close bond with her aunt, Yoshihime Watanabe, and developed a strong sense of respect for her.

While growing up, she attended completely normal schools, where she was well-known by her peers for her uncanny ability to predict weather with near 100% accuracy, much more accurately than most in her area. When questioned about it, she made a comment about “a lot of complex math and pattern recognition”.

This was a skill she had for years prior, but a major example of it being problematic to her life was when she was about 11. A few classmates accused her of witchcraft and fraudulence, and rumors spread to her entire school. Because she had no friends in the first place, this only made it easier for her peers to dislike her, as if her personality wasn’t enough. No one did anything about it, despite her telling teachers, the principal, and even her parents (who did support her, but still got no help).

Thankfully, she took comfort in her aunt, Yoshihime, and learned to take what others say with a grain of salt. (She actually gained a lot of life skills from her aunt, but she doesn’t make use of them considering she’s not in the ‘real world’ yet.)

Eventually, she made it to her freshman year at Silverthorn High School, and people just tended to avoid her there. Though, she made a point to avoid those who spread rumors, especially about her. She stayed focused on her hobbies and studies, and was eventually noticed positively for her knowledge in meteorology.
