eudaimonia Feeling stranded. New year's approaching and I checked my resolutions-list from the year before; I was able to fulfill some of these until now but others remain to be fulfilled, a.k.a these things can't be achieved in that last month of december. I will rework these resolutions and try to stick to them in 2018, I really want to change some things here and there. (Maybe enforce some reward system? No idea how I should keep track of these things properly) This year was full of new insight and perspectives, and I'm really happy for that. Even if they brought hardship w/ them, too. In my mind the year is over already, even if there's more than a month left still. Maybe b/c I already lost all perspective, haha. I don't know how I got so tangledre-visiting a piece of media from your childhood is a double edged thing to do; you might remember things you were trying to forget but it might also bathe your current views in the golden light of insight. brokenDay 70-something; my mental and physical health are further deteriorating. Maybe I'm not made for school and work at the same time. I'm often sick and very low energy. I'm thinking about regulating my own internet time a little so I can finish stuff, I am behind in lots of aspects. I even stopped making my usual plans and schedules as I am not able to conform to them anyways. I feel like not accomplishing anything, yet feeling overworked all the time. I have to make a lost of things I need to change, so I an go on. Right now I am not able to anymore. I'll update this when I found a solution for myself. Mindless, I'm fading First thing I need to fix is not worrying for the days to come. I always wake up on monday and worry about saturday already, and I worry every day of the week until saturday comes. Rinse, repeat. thoughts on vocalsis this diary a mangled mess? yes. on "summer romance (anti-gravity love song)" Boyds voice is really clean and he hits every note perfectly, I wonder why there are not more songs like that one. The track is really smooth and could even fit on one of the newer albums. Mega-polished. I like "light" a lot, it's deep burning and hurting, but I have to admit that prefer Barrettos vocals more on that track as they're rougher and grittier. Sotelos voice is awesome, but it's too clear and perfect for that track. I don't like Levines voice that much (too sour) but I love the album Songs About Jane as the sick guitar riffs on it fit well w/ his voice. I don't know why their sound got more pop-y w/ the years but that cd is awesome (shiver + harder to breathe aaaa) "Run" is like an acid dream on drugs. I can't get enough of that song and I listen to it until I get nauseous. I don't like rap much but I lowkey love Kanye Wests albums, I got them all. Some tracks are extremely clever and the beat is infatuating. Caleb Followills voice gives me such great vibes, no matter the song. Makes me feel warm and fuzzy, like hot raspberry sauce. And the slow burners make me cry 9/10. Most say phelous has a stupid voice but I love listening to him, especially when he tries singing, talks on the bootleg zones or is being serious Burnleys voice has an unique texture and flavour to it, especially on "saturate". I never heard his range of voice anywhere else. "talkshows on mute" hits me right in the feels for some reason. It's not that sad of a song, but the delivery makes this song. Everytime I hear the guitar intro when skipping through songs in shuffle, I let that one song play. if I ever had to go gay for a voice it would be McGlynn, the female voice for almost every sung Silent Hill track. Her voice is really dreamy. Soft, yet powerful at the same time. "I want Love", "Tender Sugar" (sick bassline) and "Room of Angel" are especially great. [Read more] |

enthymemaThis took me time to realize. Not everything has to make sense. Some of the most beautiful things don't make any sense. In the long run, nothing makes sense. Maybe it's a better waste of time if you spend your life doing stuff you enjoy; as long as it doesn't harm anyone it's more useful than lamenting about the things you can't do or that caused hurt in the past. It's useful to learn from your mistakes, but it's something else entirely if you get tangled on them and struggle to move forward. I'm writing this in candlelight b/c my
room's electricity was cut short.
My laptop is bricked and now I need a new one - I didn't realize how dependent I am on that thing. There's a guy from work that can't stand me for some reason and he keeps lowkey bullying me into submission which I don't like. Idk how to handle being pushed down by a superior tier 2 like that. I don't hate that job but I do hate some aspects of it... It's one thing to sit in front of the computer til kingdom come if it's your own stuff but for working purposes I barely manage. I feel on the verge of sickness most of the time b/c I don't eat or sleep properly. I hope the training phase is over soon so I can get more humane working hours. One of my snails died and I decided to bring all of them into the woods to release them. I cant even take care of myself, I shouldn't be responsible for other living beings. Show

I feel so useless and without any
purpose.
I've done that, been there before... Even though I haven't really gathered much experience in my life so far I think that situations keep repeating themselves all the time; time goes on but nothing changes. I don't want to admit it but I feel so lonely, w/o anybody to talk to or to understand me. Hell, I can't even understand myself most of the time. I'm keeping myself from drowning by filling the void w/ useless things, but I keep realizing that I can practice that for much longer. I'm tired of the way life is atm. notes on sep-oct(I'm taking notes about this time since I'm working full time in sep and part time in oct but w/ college (and from that on out it'll stay that way) it's more or less a log on if maintaining ph and irl obligations is possible for me) --6/9
morning of 3rd day; I can log in on my phone in the break(s) for a long enough time to reply, change out eggs and other small things. I have the mornings when I wake up and wait for stuff in the oven, too. I come home in late in the evening and have about 2-3 hours left for myself, ph included. Maybe that'll change w/ the oct-onward shedule but I'll see. Rn, I can manage like this. --8/9 I am done, oh god. Full time is draining the life force out of me x.x I can still manage but I am too tired for clicking a lot and that kinda sucks. My mood is also kinda sour after the first week. Gladly phelous uploaded recently and his video cheered me up quite a bit x) --9/9 ((thanks phelous for getting me out of this hole of sadness and misery.))) I need the weekends for interaction marathons, recharging me reserves, clean the house and reorganize everything. --10/9 hello anxiety only working or only school should be doable, but now that I find out that it is quite complicated to create a shedule I'm shaking. I get my working plan before I can even create my stuying plan, which sucks. Also it's kinda wonky and not easy to understand. My head is pounding. Thinking about going to work again tomorrow makes me sick. This was all a particularly bad planned out bad plan, eh-- --13/9 Time's flying when I have actual work to do and coming home is a gift. I feel sick since I'm away from home for almost 12 hours, I can't wait 'til september's over. --14/9 on a scale from 0 to 3 cold cheeseburgers, how much do you miss homemade food? --20/9 dawn of the 20th day. being around people all the time makes my health stagger around which I don't really appreciate much. Here' s me hoping this works like a flu shot and I'll get used to it so I'll be never sick again. --21/9 I had a nervous breakdown when I got home and started crying uncontrollably. Yea --24/9 I don't want the weekend to ever enddd --25/9 real life crushing is hnnggggggggggggg am I imagining things or do these entries grow more and more unorganized w/ time --27/9 gg for working w/ people but hating people --5/10 I'm slowLy getting into that working rhythm. Since I'm not allowed on the telephone anymore I have email and chat only, which is easy. Maybe I can really do this for a few years. It already feels like I've been there for my whole life...
