Accepted, and that would be fine as long as you send the gems first.

Great! I have one already hatched, so I'll put it in the GTS. Please send the gems via the Delibird Delivery. Once I receive the gems I will accept your offer.

@Navuso, perhaps you misunderstood my suggestion slightly? When I mentioned box I was referring to the fish box, not storage boxes. Sorry, I'm not always very good at explaining.

Thanks for pointing out the bug report though, I hadn't thought to check there before making this thread.

As catching it at the beach is currently the only way to get Retro Tentacool, it means that it is currently impossible to get the eggdex for the retro. This might not be a big deal for a lot of trainers, but for players like me it's rather annoying. So this suggestion is to find a way around that.

There are two ways I have thought of that this could be possible.

1/ This idea was inspired by the way the Safari Zone legends work. In the Safari Zone you use the safari ball to catch the legends, but they arrive to you as an egg. I think this could also work for Retro Tentacool, the egg would appear in your box instead of the hatched pokemon. As with the Safari Zone, the other pokemon would still be hatched pokemon, not eggs, in your box.

2/ This suggestion could also apply to other pokemon such as from the Honey Tree and Safari Zone. When you are the original trainer of a pokemon, even if you didn't hatch it, it would enter it into your eggdex.

I'm no coder, so I don't know if either of these things are feasible, or if perhaps there is another easier solution. So please share your thoughts about it and let me know if there is anything else I need to change or add to in the suggestion.

@DarkParkai - You don't need to edit your form, but please edit out the password now from your post so that it remains hidden. Your form is now accepted, welcome to the club!

Art Contest!

With the arrival of summer in Emera, Tealmer has changed into his green, leafy form. He's noticed some of the great artists in our club, and would like some art of himself enjoying some summer fun. Be sure to check out the contest section of the first post for more information. The contest is open for 2 whole months, so you should have plenty of time to get your entries in.

Upcoming Event!

I am planning on a new event for each season, and I'm looking for ideas for the summer one which will be starting in July. I have a couple of things planned already, but I'd like to know if any of you have ideas on things you would like to happen. They could be contests, new challenges, new badges etc.

Please submit your ideas via PM.

Discussion Topic

If you could go on the ultimate geocaching adventure anywhere in the world, where would you go and why?

I'd love to go to Finland, and not just to meet up with Finhawk, though that is definitely part of it, lol. I've always wanted to go to Finland, and I think geocaching in such beautiful nature would be amazing.

Sorry everyone for taking so long to reply! I've been crazy busy over the last couple of weeks and haven't had much time online.

@DarkParkai, the password is somewhere in the first post. Make sure you read everything carefully.

@Finhawk, Congrats on being the only person to participate in the Earth Month event. A special prize is headed your way, as well as your badge.

@Everyone else. Don't worry if you missed the Earth Month badge, there will be another chance to get it next year!

Speaking of events, if you have any ideas for an event be sure to let me know, either on here or via PM.

I'm hoping to get out for some more caching tomorrow, my count is at 69 at the moment and I really want to get to 70.

Welcome to the club jackmoopooTheTemmie! It's always exciting to see new people who have only just discovered geocaching. Be warned, it is highly addictive and once you start you are never going to want to stop!

Make sure you check out our current Earth Month event listed in the first post, it would be a great way to start off your geocaching adventure!

In answer to your question, yes. There will be a log book where you can write the date and your caching name (the one you signed up with at geocaching.com). Some caches will have small, cheap trinkets in them known as swag. Usually things like marbles, small toys, keyrings etc. If you want to take something from the cache then you also need to leave something for the next person. If you don't want to take anything then you don't have to leave anything (but you can if you want). Make sure you take a pen or pencil with you as some caches will be too small to include one.

Most importantly, have fun!

It's here! It's finally here! The great big Cache Hunters Club update! Go and check out the first post and see all of the cool new stuff!

Introducing Tealmer

You see that little pink guy floating through the first post? That's Tealmer, our new club pokemon. He's a phantump with a difference, each season he changes colour in order to better blend in with his changing environment. His pink hues this season help him blend in with the sprig-time blossoms. He's been geocaching ever since one day when he found a cache completely by accident. He's been hooked ever since, though prefers hiding caches, rather than finding them, and hiding nearby to see peoples reactions when they discover the cache.

New Badges

Yup, as promised I have added some brand new badges! But the images are hidden for now. If you want to see what they look like then you'll have to earn them. ;)

Challenges

There is also a brand new section called "challenges", which are "caches" hiding right here on Pokeheroes. There are 75 to find, with varying levels of difficulty, and badges for completing each step.

Events

Another new section, where I will be putting information about club events, like Earth Month (which has been extended to the end of May). Participating in the events can help earn you badges and even some cool prizes!

Due to a lack of entries for the contest, I'm going to extend it another two weeks. Why have an Earth Day when you can have an Earth Month instead! I'm just in the process of putting the finishing touches on the update, so hopefully the club will be fully revived by that time, with maybe even a few new members!

Oooh, speaking of new members, a new member is arriving soon! His name is Tealmer and he loves Geocaching, but he's a bit shy. He'll be doing quite a lot in the club, so I'm sure everyone can help out by giving him a warm welcome.

Show hidden content
Oh, and by the way, I've heard he is also rather generous... ;)

Ok, so it's happened to me a few times since I last posted, and I've been keeping an eye on what happens.

It seems that when you hit "deliver", the page tries to load several times within a few seconds. I think that's what is happening anyway. I use google chrome, and what I can see, when it happens, is the "reload this page" button, up in the top left of the browser, starts turning over and over as if someone is constantly clicking it. Except when it happens I'm not clicking anything, just one click on the deliver button.

So to me it sounds like it could possibly be a browser issue?? I don't know, I'm not very good at tech stuff.

It doesn't happen every time though, which is confusing, and it doesn't seem to be caused by lag. I don't know if it could be a specific item that's setting it off, so I'll start keeping track of the orders and see if there's a pattern.

I have the Waiilord quest currently active, and in Rowans lab it simply says "I'll reclaim my Pokémon this Sunday at 8AM." Maybe I'm just an idiot, but I actually find it rather confusing trying to figure out what day that will be in my own time. I think that either this idea needs to be implemented, or quests need to have a date instead of a day.
