Ping jumped into the floor before Venus and jumped out behind her, tilting his head.

“I… can only presume this note lied to us.

Maybe we’re all just… having a dream together. Did we all watch that one television show series thingy where a note falls from the sky or something…? Maybe… that happened…”

After saying that, Ping slowly moved his gaze up to a manhole which was about a few metres away from where he was standing.

The box started to vibrate. It slowly started to turn into a darkish grey, with the quivering intensifying by the second. It kept shaking, seemingly starting to emit a loud, high-pitched humming noise. Ping put his hands on his head in fear that he could potentially pass out. His tail swished quickly, indicating his worry.

Eventually, a crack formed in the box. Light spilled out of it, and…

CRASSSSSSSSSHHHHHHH-

Ping flickered on from sleep mode, slowly lifting his gaze from the floor to where the box once was. A small, red note seemed to fly down from the sky and rested itself before the three. Ping thought it was made out of a red card, but on closer inspection… it seemed to be stained with something.

The entity twitched, staring at the tainted paper. It was… stained with blood…

He pushed the thought of consuming the paper out of his mind and clenched his teeth. He picked it up and attempted to read it.

“I see you have found my special hell. Welcome to Dimension DX66693, or rather, my domain.
You most likely are confused as to why you are here, and want to return to your home. I do not understand why you would wish to return to your miserable, petty life back there, but I guess we all think differently.

Why out of everyone have I chosen you lucky few to come and play in my home?

Well, I wanted to host a game with you all. It would be our very own fun little game, and we’ll all get to bond over it~!

I can’t wait to start the first challenge, can you?

Ping took a step forward and crouched beside the Glowii, trying his best to maintain his smile.

“Hey, it’s… it’s fine. This is probably a lucid dream or the sort…”

He stood up and put his hands on his hips, swaying his tail optimistically.

“Everything's gonna be just fiiiiine-“

At that second, an explosion arose from the water. Ping screamed and jumped into the floor for safety. Deadly ripples scattered across the water, almost signalling that something was to make an appearance.

The chain chomp missed and Ping pathetically fell over, with his friend not landing too far.

Ping slowly stood up and snapped his fingers, causing his weapon friend to disappear. He slowly turned towards the lake, nervously tugging at his hair.
