"Poker, is that some sort of gambling game?" Vricollei asked, sounding intrigued. "I do a bit of gambling myself but I mostly stick to sabacc." Sure the devaronian wasn't the best at the game, and sure it often irked the crew, but what could he say. Vricollei liked challenging the odds. The merlot sentient didn't necessarily want to get moving again, but he supposed it was the best course of action. The kid he had rescued could prove helpful in his own way, should Vricollei's blaster ever got jammed he supposed. Just another weird parallel between Gin and the kid.

Vricollei gave a tired sigh as people began introducing themselves. Great, now he'd need to memorize a whole bunch of names for people he will most likely never see again. They also wouldn't be paying him so he couldn't even motivate himself to get to know them. "My name is Vricollei." The devaronian finally spoke, though it was more of a grumble. "I've never even seen a maze until now either so I'm going to have to say no."

Vricollei heard a cry for help, his eyes zeroing in on a small human on the ground. He blinked, as if trying to chase a phantom image out of his mind. There were several differences, obviously, but dang it. All he could see was the same hurt and confused kid from all those years back. The devaronian ran towards Gin, though he didn't know the kid's name. The merlot being easily picked the kid up in his arms darting for safety.

Beeswax, he'd have to add that to his vocabulary. He didn't quite understand the word, but it didn't matter too much to the devaronian. The rest of the girl's words seemed to register in Vricollei's mind. Was she calling him dull? He was just about to shout out a string of curses the devaronian called a typical sentence when the monster emerged. "Karrabast!" The horned sentient cursed, taking quick steps backwards. His gaze swept the room as he decided whether or not he should actually try and take the thing. He noticed another human had awoken, and cast a look at them as if to ask, 'Need help?'

Vricollei scowled at the answer he recieved, pulsing his fists once, then twice. Who even made mazes anymore? It seemed like such an old pastime, one requiring more brainpower than the devaronian would ever even dream of using. The horned sentient had always been more of a shoot first, think later kind of guy. This labyrinth was certainly not going to work out in his favor. Couldn't he just fight something instead, or maybe anything else not requiring him to use logic? That was more of Vex's thing. "How do you move this labyrinth thingy. No offense but I doubt you can just take it apart and rearrange it with your bare hands." Vricollei questioned, though his voice was interlaced with annoyance.

"Fenrys!" Eli gasped out, looking quite relieved. He crossed towards his friend, holding a hand to his chest in an bear dramatic fashion. "I was worried that you had transferred to a different school." The tanned boy felt himself flush a little in embarrassment. It sounded more stupid and clingy now that he thought about it. Shaking his head, Eli was quick to change the subject. "So what should I expect to see during my time here?" He asked, trying to hide the frown threatening to spill on his face. Hopefully Fenrys could confirm he was just overthinking things and nobody would actually hate him.

Vricollei woke sluggishly, sitting up at looking around. Had he been knocked unconscious? Last he could remember Aten had gotten himself in some big trouble and of course the whole crew had to help him out. Maybe he had taken a hit? This place didn't look very good for healing however, and he didn't feel any pains. He stood on his feet and finally noticed the others in the strange cave with him. The horned sentient cast a gaze to the others. All humans he noted -a result that did not shock him much, they were the most abundant and far traveled of species- but there was a bizarre goopy thing. A pet perhaps? The devaronian's eyes quickly flitted towards the freckled girl as a feminine spoke, but he couldn't quite confirm if it was her.

Then the dark haired human closest to him said some weird thing about the labyrinth. Vricollei scoffed, rolling his eyes. He may not be the brightest star in the galaxy but he knew that the voice had already told them they were in a labyrinth. Then there was Earth. He hadn't heard of that planet before but there were an increasing number of planets being discovered -though not as much as in the days of the Republic, and boy didn't the thought that old government make his heart ache. "Dank farrick!" The merlot devaronian cursed. "I don't have time for this, where is the exit. I want off this crikking planet. I got things to do and money to make."

Eli Vanto hesitantly looked at the door, shifting his bag around his shoulder for a moment. He probably looked rather ridiculous, simply standing in front of the entrance to the school but what could he say, he was nervous. Up until last month he thought he would be attending a local school near Lysatra only to discover that his plans were drastically changed. Now Eli was stuck in some high-end school surrounded by those who had most certainly been born more privileged than him. Eli shuffled closer to the doors, finally entering the school.

His parents had tried their best to act excited for him, but Eli knew what he had already figured out. He was going to get eaten alive, either by the courses or the students. He kept his head down, trying to take up as little space as possible. Looking at the time Eli scowled. He still had a few minutes until the first class started. Great, just what he needed. He had honestly hoped to arrive just before school began so he wouldn't risk upsetting anybody. He didn't doubt that some if not most of the students here would be able to ruin his and his family's life if they really wanted to. Eli gripped the straps of his bag tighter. He could only hope that maybe he was thinking too irrationally.

Description

Appearance: Calverus has dark red skin, as well as all the appendages attatched to every Soth pureblood. His eyes are a bright yellow, the color sometimes filtering past the darkness of his helmet. The helmet is designed to fit over his appendages, with small horns protruding from the sides of his forehead. The helmet is also equipped with filters.
Defining Features: 4 fingers, 4 toes, left-handed, scars by mouth.
Personality: Calverus appears to be a solemn, cold figure with little care for the lives of others. Truthfully he'd like to be that person too. Granted, he tends to be rather violent, the thrill of the battle and the carnage left behind very familiar to him. However, Calverus had been born with a kind heart that struggled to fade even during his Sith training. Calverus occasionally will find other beings he enjoys being around and quickly grows attatched though he doesn't allow himself to show it.

History

Calverus was born on the capital of the Sith Empire, Dromund Kaas, born before the defeat delivered by the Eternal Empire. When he was six years old his family moved to Korriban to assist in the training of new Sith as their forces slowly began to dwindle. He remained on the planet for only nine years before the Eternal Empire began its attack against the Sith Empire, and his parents returned to Dromund Kass to assist in the war. His mother died in the conflict, and soon enough, Calverus and his father joined her.

19 BBY, minutes after the execution of order 66, Calverus awoke on an abandoned Dromund Kaas. As far as he knew he was alone, and using the force to help sustain him, he finally was able to get a ship in working condition. However time had taken its toll on all the parts and it was a piece of junk. Calverus was barely able to make it to Corellia before the ship had to be scrapped. During his early stay on the planet he learned of just a few of the many events that had so far occurred in the galaxy, including the rise of the newest empire. This sparked a bitter feeling inside the Sith pureblood as he realised his own empire had not made it out of the war. He now strikes any Imperial bases he comes cross in a blinded rage, his mind simply failing to let hin see the full picture, he found it easier to simply blame the Galactic Epire for what happened, and he's content with that.

A small coo caught her attention, and she looked down to find her small pokemon nestled in her arms. She pulled Rowlet close, ruffling the bird's feathers. "You ready to go to the festival?" She murmured to the pokemon, giving a small giggle at the excited chirp she received. "Alright then. Let's go and meet up with Kukui!" Moon stood up, calling Rowlet into the pokeball before rushing downstairs. She paused, seeing her mother still with Meowth on the couch. "Mom." She started, almost hesitantly. "I'm going to go to the festival, alright?"

Her mother turned around, giving her daughter a big grin. "Alright, be safe out there, alright? I'll meet you there once the festival begins."

Moon nodded before jogging out of the door. She was nervous, but also rather excited. The last time she had ever stepped foot in tall grass was when she accompanied her brother. She could recall it clearly. It was their mom's birthday, and they wanted to get her something nice for the occasion. Her brother had just finished his journey, and had all sorts of strong pokemon. Moon had asked him for help with the gift. Together they had traveled all the way out to Route 5 on the back of his Dragonite, where they spent hours looking for Meowth. He had gotten its HP down, but Moon was the one who got to throw the pokeball.

Moon gave a small smile, recalling the time spent after that just trying to get the feisty pokemon to calm down. Funnily enough, Moon had been the most successful in taming the cat pokemon as she bribed it with berries. Now that she thought of it, that was likely the reason the pokemon was so spoiled.

~~Man I'll have to check out a lot of these games~~

I'd personally recommend Star Wars: The Old Republic, even to those who may bot be huge Star Wars nerds like me. Some of the storylines are incredibly fun, and the characters can really just worm their way into your heart ~~(Looking at you Quinn)~~. Microsoft has decided it best to alert my parents I once played the game for 10 hours on Saturday lol. I honestly think the game could he played with little Star Wars knowledge as they tend to either explain some details or leave even I, the biggest Star Wars nerd, in confusion. It's still crazy good though.

The game has 8 different stories to play through, each giving you different options for dialogue to help build you characters personality. I'm currently playing through Sith Warrior, Sith Inquisitor, Republic Trooper, and Republic Smuggler. I would definitely recommend the Sith Warrior storyline! The game is mostly free to play, meaning you can finish all of the storylines without paying a single penny.

I would encourage anyone wanting to write an interesting story to play this game, as sometimes it feels like I'm watching an interactive movie. Some of the dialogue is just hilarious, and other times it's the funny animations that get me laughing. You can really get invested in the game. Anyways. 10/10 game and I don't think enough people play it as the Knights of the Old Republic definitely takes more of the spotlight these days.

TL:DR because I went on a ramble.

Star Wars the Old Republic holds a great storyline with amazing characters and it deserves more players.
