i don't support withdrawing a bid because of all the issues that may potentially come from it

but what about a compromise with an option to turn on a warning of sorts, like 'are you sure you want to bid *price here*?' this wouldn't be very useful for those trying to snipe very quickly, but i don't think that would be much of an issue since the idea of not being allowed to withdraw a bid under 10 minutes was added in there (the option would also require being manually turned on and off, with the default being off to make the people happy who would be against a popup window)

(i'm not sure if this idea made sense or is something that can be coded, but i'm putting the idea out there anyways in case it can lol)

this is purposely done this way on pokeheroes, and the reason is below the pokedex itself:

as far as i'm aware, a pokemon needs to level two separate times if it's high enough to evolve to its final evolution, in the case of three-tier pokemon, so this will not be an issue as long as you keep an everstone on it and only take it off when you know you are going to be around to put the everstone back on it or evolve it to an alternate desired evolution before it gains enough exp to level again

(correct me if i'm wrong - i've only done this once long ago, so i am unaware if the method has changed somehow)

@book: i have said before "and for using wrong pronouns, if someone wants certain pronouns to be used, it's their job to let people know which pronouns they wish to be addressed as, or to very politely correct someone if they're addressed wrong"

also, you are only one guy - don't speak on behalf of all the other guys, you can't claim to know what they are or aren't interested in just because you happen to be a dude

please keep the debate of an idea to the actual point - riako has implemented small features before - this does not mean he will implement every small feature that's suggested, but it's up to him to decide this and the discussion should be based on whether it will be an asset to the site, not if it 'takes too long to do', as i'm sure riako will take the ideas and prioritize them as he sees fit

i understand wanting to cater to people who actually click, but personally i think there's already enough advantages for clicking, and that the breeding rate is fine (i would like to strangle driflamp but i am happy with it lol)

not everyone on pokeheroes specifically clicks either - making the community thrive by being active in the forum is also a way to help the site grow, and many users choose to spend their time socializing, making friends, and creating a network of people

there are also the royal tunnel, game center, and stalking the lab, all of which take up a lot of time and all of which don't require clicking pokemon - where's the benefit for people who help keep the site going, but don't click up to someone else's standards?

to me this idea just makes it seem like users should drop everything they spend their pokeheroes time doing to click

a larger about me limit would be kind of nice - some people like to decorate their about me with images, which i think is also a part of how people tell about themselves (knowing people does not always have to be through words)

many people also like to put their hunts/links to friends/particular pokemon in their about me, and lots of other things, it gets confining to try to work under the current limit

you have every right to work on your dex the way you want it, whether it's to complete it only with pokemon you like, or to literally catch em all - no one is saying you're not allowed to do this or that your method is wrong

as for the idea, no support for the reason carpet stated - the current method encourages equal clicking for all pokemon, and if in the future the build-your-own-clicklist thing is implemented, it will prevent people from making clicklists made solely of legendaries and shinies
