[ Lily of the Valley Island; Sinnoh ]

The Lily of the Valley Conference (also known as the Sinnoh League Championship Competition) is an annual competition that trainers - only after obtaining all eight gym badges - can enter to challenge the Elite Four and Champion. It is held on the Lily of the Valley Island, where all competing trainers are housed in a small village. The competition is to begin in just a few days and unknowingly to them, our friends are about to reunite for the first time in eight years, to go head-to-head, just like they had done back in the day at the Pokémon Trainer School.

Just, how much can people change in a few years?

Ashe is the current vessel of the Goddess, Asherah.

Whilst Asherah is, technically, thousands of years old, her vessel appears to only be somewhere in its early twenties. Ashe is a new arrival in Bayan, currently residing at The Drunken Sailor Inn, under the guise of wanting a simple getaway from her role as a high-ranking warrior from the city. Her favourite place to visit in Bayan is the docks at night, and wading in the moonlit ocean.

Being within a vessel will not dilute Asherah's omnipotence - that is something she must consciously decide to do. As a primordial entity, Asherah possesses immeasurable supernatural strength and power, including the ability to warp reality to her whims.

Lunar Manipulation is just one of her main abilities, meaning that Asherah can create, shape, and manipulate all aspects of the moon, and use its lunar energy. Furthermore, Asherah can turn lunar energy into tools, objects, weapons, and other items, as well as, create constructs of varying permanence.

Water Manipulation is the ability that Ashe is most often witnessed using. Asherah has the capability to control the rivers, lakes, and even oceans on earth, as well as use that power to cause megatsunamis that swallow up countries. She claims she could recreate all Ten Great Plagues of Egypt if she wanted, and even send a new Global Flood, only without an ark this time.

Both Ashe and Asherah are proficient in using polearm-type weapons, with Ashe's signature weapon being a duel-ended silver spear, inlaid with dark sapphires.

__✤ Overview

Over the last couple of decades, the port town has seen it's livelihood decline massively, as development in it's neighbouring cities surpassed its own. Because of this the younger generations of it's oldest lineages have left Bayan to seek opportunities that their hometown can no longer offer. Without any visitors from outside its gates, local buisnesses are dying, the port being the only thing keeping Bayan on the map. Struggling with the declining economy, the Mayor of Bayan left town to "negotiate" with Bayan's neighbours. However, it's been weeks now, and with no word from the Mayor, rumours are beginning to spread suggesting that he may be trying to sell the land and everything on it instead, threatening the independence of the locals.

__✤ Areas

✤ The Town Hall - Monthly meetings used to be held here where the town's residents would be free to express their opinions and suggestions to improve the local businesses. But since the Mayor left, there has not been a meeting of such. An errands board can also be found here: have a job to do, but no time to do it? Need a bit of extra gold in your pocket? Here would be the place to look.

✤ The Cathedral - Asherah (pronounced: 'ah'-'sheer'-'ah'), also known as "she who walks on the sea", is the Goddess that is worshipped here. The cathedral also doubles as a hospital, with many of the convents being masters in healing magic. It is always open to the public for those to pray, confess, or receive blessings, and they are free to do this whether or not they believe in a divine being, without judgment.

✤ Bayan Academia - Whether you're wanting to master a weapon or magic, the Academia is open to all. Located within the large castle-like building in the northeast of Bayan, the training dojo can be found in the center-most room, whilst the surrounding four towers contain other resources, including a library, alchemy lab, astrology lab, and an infirmary (just in case).

✤ The Drunken Sailor Inn - Back in the more lively days, the inn would be packed, popular with the sailors transporting goods, often opting to stay the night drinking away before leaving hung over early the following morning. These days, the place doesn't seem to get much busier than the handful of regular locals that come in for a drink or two. The pier just outside is infamously named 'The Plank', due to the many reports of sailors, whilst under the heavy influence of alcohol, falling/jumping off the edge.

deriving from the Filipino word, Bayanihan; "the Bayanihan spirit is one of communal unity, helping others without expecting rewards, to achieve a certain goal."

Welcome to Bayan

A humble town, which isn't exactly small or large, Bayan is located on the south coast of the region. Bayan used to be a bustling town for family-run businesses. But now, besides watching the ships come and go with goods, the town is relatively uneventful. Due to the lack of development in the town, Bayan has seen many of its oldest lineages slowly disappear as the younger generations uproot and depart for greater opportunities in the surrounding cities. Also, with not many visitors from beyond its gates, the port that Bayan is attached to is the only thing keeping the place on the map. It's only a matter of time before the independence of Bayan's citizens is threatened to be seized by the officials of a powerful city looking to take over the land, on which Bayan sits, for their own profits. It's now all up to the remaining citizens to keep their town alive.

growing up, the people of Elysia would dread what kind of leader Leukippe would become, her parents colder than the blizzards that would batter their winter wonderland home. however, their brutal ways of ruling seemed not to corrupt her virtue. around her parents and their devoted skivvies, Leuke is someone of few words, silently getting on with tasks within reason. even when she has a moment free from royal duties, Leukippe never really stops working, taking it upon herself to attempt to fix her family's self-sabotaged reputation with the common folk, although she knows that what they've done could never be forgiven. carefully, she treads on thin ice, doing her best to offer small gestures of help to those struggling without angering her parents. for this, she is well respected by the majority of the people of Elysia and is favoured by the children in particular, despite not having any of her own, she offers them a sense of love similar to that of a mother.

Ability: Cotton Down; When receiving a certain amount of damage, recover HP, deal revenge damage, and decrease the enemies movement speed for a short time. This ability has a 10s cooldown.
Basic Attack: Becomes a boosted attack with every third attack, attaching a bit of cotton fluff to the enemy. The user's basic attacks against an enemy with cotton fluff on it deal increased damage and decreases the enemies movement speed for a short time.
1st Move: Pollen Puff; Eldegoss throws a puff of pollen, which attaches to any Pokémon that touches it. After a delay the puff will explode, damaging enemies and healing allies around it. If attached to an enemy, the puff will deal damage over time. If attached to an ally, it will reduce the damage they receive by 20% for 2s.
2nd Move: Cotton Guard; Eldegoss creates barriers out of cotton, granting itself and all nearby allies a shield for 3s. When the shield expires, it restores HP equal to 30% of the remaining shield value. Also briefly increases Eldegoss's movement speed.
Unite Move: Cotton Cloud Crash; Float into the air and become invincible. If used again, pound the ground, attacking and shoving enemies while restoring HP to allies in the radius.

uh-oh - caught. coming to a sharp halt at the treeline, her heart rate racing, Hana grips the basket in her hands tighter. she was done for, almost certain of it, as she watched the artisan pursue her. although Ping was often friendly with the children, making them toys and even playing along with them, she was still one of the grown-ups, and if she were to tattle to her parents-! a sick feeling began to form in the pit of her stomach, dreading to think how long her parents would make her do indoor chores if they found out she'd gone into the woods. to Hana, there was no worse punishment than being cooped up inside, only being able to watch as the other children played. huffing, she accepts whatever fate was heading her way. perhaps Miss Shan En would let her off this once, it was just a quick hunt for blackberries. and as for the supposed fairies, Hana couldn't wrap her head around why everyone seemed so scared of them, despite stories of them being so.. nice.

with a woven basket clutched in her hands, the small child hums to herself as she springs down the dirt trail leading away from her home, her light footwork causing the simple brown hide satchel at her side to bounce along with her. what may have been just another run-of-the-mill day for someone else in the village, was another opportunity for an adventure for her. at her age, Hana didn't really have much of an important role like many of the grown-ups, but did her best anyway with any odd chore thrown her way. thus, was her purpose of setting out today: a fun foraging activity that had been suggested by her mother. though, 'foraging' was an odd word for her, despite her grubby little hands picking up everything by impulse since she'd begun to crawl. she could, however, understand the more straightforward instructions, for example, "go pick some blackberries". typically, the promise of homemade snacks afterwards would lessen the number of random trinkets that Hana would also pocket along the way because there wasn't really anything that was safe from her curious gaze.

upon reaching the fields, Hana plonks herself down on the grass to rest briefly. moving the basket aside, her hands reach inside her satchel, pulling out a rather thick book. an encyclopedia was what her mother had called it, but it was full of big words that she couldn't read. fortunately, it was also contained pictures that she could use to find the fruits she'd been requested to find. some of the pictures looked as if they were pulled straight from the fairy tales that the villagers would narrate for the children. she glances over towards the woodline. after recent talk of real fairies living in the woods had spread across the village, orders from Elder Calliba stated that no one was to enter the woods. whilst she would be reminded of this order before venturing out each morning, Hana suddenly found herself fighting the urge to dismiss it, just this once. not too deep into the woods, it was a place that she and the other children used to visit regularly, making dens from fallen branches and snacking on the bountiful berries that grew there. looking at the pictures in the textbook had sparked this memory, and Hana could taste the sweetness already.

it was then she decided. if she was quick - which she would be - no one would even know she'd have gone into the forest. Hana glances around her surroundings with caution to ensure no peering eyes would catch her out, before quickly packing away the book back into her satchel. once certain that it was safe to go, she picks up her basket once more and begins running towards the forests' edge.

since i have a suspicious amount of time off from work these next couple of weeks-
making a form out of interest, if that's okay c':

❀ Name - Umesaki Hanako | 梅咲花子 | "Hana"

❀ Appearance

being one of the younger residents of her village, Hana stands at just 4'6" tall. she has tawny brown hair, which is kept neatly trimmed at the shoulders, and large caramel puppy-dog eyes that many find it difficult to say "no" to. due to spending the majority of her days outside, she is lightly sunkissed, but also often littered in bruises and grazes. therefore, as to not ruin her nicer clothes, Hana is commonly seen dressed up rather boyish, in woollen sweaters that drown her tiny form and knee-length shorts. whilst she's not one to fuss over her appearance, she is rather attached to the gold locket that was passed down to her by her late grandmother. containing a picture of her parents on one side, and one of herself on the other, Hana likes to keep it close, typically keeping it tucked down her shirt and out of sight.

almost nothing is safe from the curious gaze of this child. some pretty looking flowers? they're being picked and woven into a pretty bracelet or crown: an excellent gift, in her eyes. some weird looking mushrooms? also being picked, because perhaps her mother could turn them into some delicious snacks? a lonely frog? don't look so surprised, that's also being pocketed because even frogs need friends, right? with a ~~lot~~ little bit of guidance, Hana could probably make it as a worthy forager. but in the meantime, she's delighted to just lend a hand here and there, as long as it makes people happy.

mbti: ENFJ - the giver | enneagram: 7w6 - the pathfinder

an eager beaver: keen and always ready to go on her next adventure. but whilst that enthusiasm of hers may seem sweet initially, it also comes hand-in-hand with a pinch bit of spice. because this girl is also pretty oblivious when it comes to boundaries, especially when her impulsive streak takes over (and mixed with her altruistic nature) her presence can be easily made overbearing for some. please don't get mad at her though, she genuinely just wants to help. however, should one do so, it's okay. Hana isn't one to allow herself to be down for too long and will be certain to return after some time alone to reflect with a bunch of wildflowers that she's picked as an apology.

❀ Background/Extra Info

rain or shine, this girl would much rather be outside than cooped up indoors. her parents are always busy, and as an only child, playing alone isn't exactly fun. so, more often than not, she can be found playing amongst the other village children.

I use my Rosaria as a kind of support - I consider mine a dps or sub dps, as she's not really on the field much
However, she's more than capable of doing damage
Usually, she's only out to bruise with her skill, and then set up for Eula with her burst, which also does decent damage itself, ngl-

Both Lisa and Xinyan are kinda half-built already so I'll take them as candidates
I have zero interest in Aloy, unfortunately, unless it's farming for food c':
Yunjin will be an eventual build - she's adorable - but I'm not too familiar with her kit atm

I decided to bring Ganyu home first - as, if I'm going to use either of them, it'd more than likely be her
Hopefully, Zhongli will follow soon, but if not, it's no big deal as I'll have guaranteed for Yae -
I originally wanted him to pair with Ningguang, but she no longer needs him
And I have every other Geo character, so if I wanted someone to replace him, I can c':

Eula is also, officially, triple crowned ♥

So I'm not sure who to focus on building now -
I did start on Shenhe, but already I have a pretty much fully built Rosaria at C6
And I'm not sure if it'd be worth swapping the two

I find that I just want to build characters that no one else gives love to/aren't the current meta
So if anyone has any suggestions - I'm open to ideas
Atm, I have everyone but: Venti, Zhongli, Kazuha, and Kokomi

Yun Jin is the only [Liyue] 4-star character I have that needs constellations, as everyone else is already C6
So I'll more than likely be picking her as my 4-star

On another note, I did a 10-pull and got a double 5-star
Xiao came home, along with C3 Jean, so I have guaranteed pity again for either Zhongli or Ganyu c':

I have three days off from work now
So I'm going to get my booster shot tomorrow and then hopefully spend the rest of it catching up on the events ^^"

tbh, I'm just patiently waiting for Ningguang's skin so I can simp even harder for my triple-crowned queen ♥
