Sky, who shared her cage with Soar, flinched as the griffin woke up slowly. "Is it morning yet?" He yawned.
"Does it look like morning?" Sky sighed, looking up as the cage opened. "Finally!" She found herself shout and jumped to her feet/talons to exit the cage. Soar took notice and followed her out.

Ella looked up. "About time they let us out," she made her way out of her cramped cage and stretched. Then Alex was let out as well. Ella sighed. The two never liked each other at all; well, Alex pretty much hated just about everyone, but it was Ella he hated most. He paid no attention to the centaur and stretched his wings, silently walking to find something decent to eat for once.

	Blackbird nearly tripped as Tigerkit came dashing past in front of her with Sweetkit chasing him. She watched them argue over dumb things before heading into the den and settling down near Daybreak. Victoria nodded, shaking a little. She did her best to keep still and said, "I'm Victoria. I thought I was the only one here," she half-mumbled. "Do you have any where we are, though? There is a chance someone could live here..." she knew that sounded a little ridiculous, but she was too curious.

Alex leaned against the tree trunk, switching his attention from the sea to a figure he realized was a person. His thoughts were replaced with hope as he stared at them, noting the person to be a woman. "Hello..?" He found himself sort of calling to her.

Victoria took a moment to look up, feeling a wave of relief as she saw and heard another being. A part of her wanted to stay collapsed on the sand as she slowly moved to sit herself up. "I-I'm fine...!" She replied in a stutter. Does this guy live here or was he on the ship? She wondered.

Alex flinched when the sand's heat burned his hand. He sighed and got up, wandering to find some shade. He settled down under a few trees, completely lost in thought.

Victoria could barely move. She was more tired than she'd ever been before; she never suffered such a terrifying and near-death experience. She weakly lifted her head to gaze at her surroundings. She was alone, lying on the hot sand with part of her legs still in the freezing water. Hardly daring to even recall what had happened before, she extended her arms to pull herself out of the water and closer to a few tall trees.

Alex sighed in frustration as he sat in the sand a few feet away from the water. He could only taste the ocean water he had gotten in his mouth when he struggled to breathe after he went overboard. He pushed the thought to the back of his mind, as it was all he could remember. He stared out at the sea, finding nothing but shining blue water; if there were to be any signs of rescue, it couldn't be for a long while, right?

	The harpy sat at the edge of her cage, unable to rest. Her cage was right beside Ella's, and though the two often talked, Ella felt like they had no possibility of being friends or anything. "Why don't you just sleep?" The centaur mumbled to Sky. "Don't need to. I can sleep in all day tomorrow. Can't, anyways," she replied. Ella shrugged and slowly fell asleep herself. [Read more]

Ella collapsed to sit down. "These friggin' kids.." She mumbled, stretching in exhaustion. It was usually children who gathered to watch her, and yet they never even saw the burning glares she shot at them in between fake smiles.
"Seriously," Sky sighed in response. She was even more tired than the centaur. "Can't wait to get an actual day of rest," she said, yawning a bit. She lacked several hours of sleep, which Ella couldn't blame her for. It wasn't like anyone was able to get a good rest every night, anyway.

Valerie slowly came awake, finding herself leaning against the cold wall of the cage. "Wha....?" She shivered and scooted away from the edge, glancing at her surroundings in confusion. "W-What happened...?"

Tom hung out beside the entrance to his cabin. He didn't exactly feel comfortable being in a room with a caged woman, so why not just wait until she wakes up? He opened the door a crack to look in and carefully closed it, sighing.
