First off i should say this is a fluff suggestion, not much point to it other than because it would add extra atmosphere and allow for more immersion into the pokeheroes world.

Professor Rowen and Daycare Owner are official NPCs, they have a user account and pokemon. Why does Professor Rowen need an official account if not to add an extra bit of meat to the pokehero world, so let's take this farther and add more NPC characters here, and give them more personality here.

my suggestion is to make automated messages set to be sent whenever a milestone is achieved like hatching your first starter, or taking a legendary egg from the lab, these messages would be specifically from Professor Rowen and other messages could be made in the event other NPCs are made. for example Bill could send automated messages to players when they buy or upgrade their boxes, the daycare man could send automated messages to replace the notification for the daycare eggs or to remind players when their daycare funds are low and etc.

these messages would give players the feeling that the world is more populated than with just other users, it would give the NPCs substance.

examples of messeges:
Professor Rowen #1 - "It's remarkable, the egg you adopted seems to be radiating much greater heat than usual, come back to me when it hatches so i can study it more." (acquire a Moltres egg from Lab)

Professor Rowen #2 - "Is it just me or did that egg seem a bit shocking? i swear i'll need to adjust the lab's electrical grid later, come back when it hatches so i can study it more." (acquire Zapdos egg from Lab)

Professor Rowen #3 - "Brrrr, did someone touch my thermostat? this egg seems to be causing a temperature shift, come back when it hatches so i can study it more." (acquire Articuno egg from Lab)

Professor Rowen #4 - "Hmm i can't get an accurate reading on this egg, it seems to mimic the vital signs of the other eggs in my lab, come back when it hatches so i can study it more." (acquire Ditto egg from Lab)

Bill #1 - "Thanks for buying a Pokemon Storage Box, this should help advance my research, feel free to come by anytime to check on your pokemon."

Bill #2 - "I see you upgraded your Storage Box, if you need anything else feel free to come on by."

Daycare Owner #1 - "You might want to come by soon, the pokemon you left with me had (x) eggs, if you don't want them i'll release them to the wild."

Daycare Owner #2 - "Sorry to bother you, just a reminder your credits are low, if youd like me to continue watching after your pokemon youll need to come by and deposit some more."

These are just a few of the possible messages NPCs could send to players, there is an endless amount of possible messages these NPCs could send for any situation, there could even be a contest to create messages for the NPCs to send and the circumstances to send them.

as to how these messages would be sent to players, there are three ways, and they could be changed in the miscellaneous settings, first off you'd have to buy a key item from the mall, this would be the cell phone from earlier pokemon games where you could register numbers from different people and call them or receive calls from them occasionally, then after buying the cell phone item youd have to go to each NPC where they work, Professor Rowen's Lab, Bill's house, the Daycare etc. to register the NPCs to your cell phone. once you've done this you can now set them in your settings to receive messages via PM, palpad, or notifications. these could be set separately for each NPC, so for example you could receive PMs from professor rowen while receiving notifications from the daycare owner and palpad messages from bill, or you could set them all to receive palpad messages and etc. The default would be PMs because some people might have their palpads set to friends only, and they also might be thrown off receiving notifications from an unknown source.

and in conclusion adding messages from the NPCs would be a nice addition and it would add something special to the world of pokeheroes.

as it stands Professor Rowen and the Daycare Owner are the only official NPC characters with their own profile and user account, there are other NPC characters than just them so why should they be exclusive to have their own profile? I say we go farther with this and give them messages they can send to players here, and add more NPCs here.

my suggestion is to give other NPCs a profile and official user accounts like Professor Rowen's. this could add more depth into the pokeheroes world by introducing a greater amount of opportunities such as more quests, extra characters to take watch of and etc.

other NPCs who could benefit from an official profile:

Bill - he could have quests pertaining to collecting certain pokemon and putting them in a box with other pokemon to research and upgrade his sorting methods etc.

Dawn - she could be in charge of the beauty contest, and maybe even have an added tutorial for making pictures and voting in the beauty contest.

Misty - she could be in charge of the bug catching contest (for reasons of having players take all the bug pokemon away) she could add a tutorial of the bug contest explaining which pokemon she likes (takes away points if clicked) and which pokemon she hates (adds points if clicked) and finally for scoring, the more grossed out she is of the bug pokemon the more points youd get for it.

and there could even be others, there could be an entire town of NPCs and we as the players are just visitors to the town, permanent ones at that lol

with a town of NPCs the amount of quests and the different types of places would grow and pokeheroes would become even more diverse and would draw more people in and even give the veterans more things to do.

and in conclusion why should Professor Rowen and the Daycare Owner be the only NPCs here in pokeheroes, i think all characters should be represented. anyone who feels the same please support me in these two suggestions and have a good day :)

	yes a short cut to send someone a delibird shipment would be nice, as it stands now you have to copy the username, then go to the delibird service, paste the username, pick items, click and confirm. if you could just click on the delibird icon in their profile pick items, then confirm it would be a lot faster and much appreciated [Read more]

	i agree, currency that locks players out of things makes free to play games not really that fun anymore, but if the premium currency is only to make things a tiny bit easier for convenience sake then its good because those with money will buy the convenience and those without money can work the hard way around. well, i had thought if you were going to implement the releasing the pokemon then it would only be fair for accounts that could never be active again. but if you would implement a way to discount the numbers from inactive pokemon then it would probably work for all inactive accounts, but then if the accounts became active again it would jumble the numbers up, so thered have to be a cutoff point for inactives, like if an account is inactive for a year then its pokemon get removed from the pokedex counter, or something like that
