Lifei was wearing a blue dress, and Echo was wearing a red dress. Lifei wore a flower crown and her hair was a beautiful ocean color. Echo wore rings as well as earrings. It was by request, well threatening as both didn’t like their previous pink dresses. Stupid stylist. Lifei looked into the mirror, before twirling around. It would look like she was admiring herself, but one her last pirouette she whacked the stylist with her fists, before stepping on their hand with her heels and walking off, flipping her hair

Thalia joins the queue of mages, blowing of a spark of fire on some flaxseed. She seemed unperturbed by the immense smoke puffing out from the fire. She dipped the berries inside, before storing them back into her pouch. “Dawn, Dusk, come.” She spoke, her voice low and slightly threatening. The two capered around her legs, as she slipped a message around Dawn’s neck. She then knelt down, whispering as softly as she could “You know where to go. Go with Dusk” Then, she sent them off, before throwing the flaxseed away, not caring where it landed.

“I would, but once again, Echo says no murder. Not yet at least” Lifei states, tossing her head back in laughter. “Well that’s one way to describe the Peacekeepers. Why didn’t you kill them, though?” Lifei asks, gazing at her nails, which were sharp and pointed. “Honestly? The force field surrounding them was useless. Weak, it can easily be broken, and it’s not even complete. I can slip through!” Echo commented.

Thalia simply giggled “Of course I know these berries are poisonous. To all animals, all beings, and some beasts. Dawn and Dusk can handle it. They’re aren’t normal pets.” As she spoke, Dawn and Dusk simply sat at her feet, morphing into what looked like night versions of themselves, their Color changing to a deep purple and hues of blue, like the cosmos. “You see? They’re not normal.” She ignored Kayeru’s question, before flopping onto the floor, rejecting (politely) the earth chair. She grinned rather sinisterly. “I like fighting monsters. I can’t wait!”

Echo stared at the board of scores. Ugh, now there would be all that special attention. She didn’t understand— she didn’t do anything except to piss off the judges and defend herself, making the attackers look like jokes. She hadn’t even lost control of her emotions, she kept that stoic face. So why did they give her such a high score? Lifei was running her fingers through Echo’s hair, but immediately jolted up upon receiving the scores. Only Yurei had managed to tie with her for highest score. Not bad, but there will be attention. Makes me a bigger target. As the tv flickered off, Echo grasped Lifei’s hands and the pair danced along to Phenix’s song, unknowingly passing straight through Mare in her spectre form, though both seemed unbothered. “Sorry about that” Echo apologised, looking awkwardly at her, before moving away. “We’re in the training room you dumbass, let’s get out” Lifei rolled her eyes, dragging her soulmate so as to not disturb Maci. The two went to find Zahara, knocking on her door.

Thalia sauntered by, already up since two in the morning. She was dressed in a all black cloak, alongside pure white gloves and the Feyrer family pin. Dusk and Dawn followed playfully at her heels, snapping at each other. Dawn saw berries near Tien, and leaped over, her tail brushing Samton on the way. Dusk followed more elegantly, breaking a branch of berries off and stalking away. Thalia recognised those berries— highly poisonous to humans and most normal animals, beasts and beings. She walked serenely up to the pair, inclining her head, before picking up Dawn rather loftily, pocketing the berries. “Not against the school rules, is this, Prince?” She asked, a hint of danger in her tone. She kept the berries in her pouch, before taking out a vial of blood and downing it in a singular gulp. “You want some?” She offered, her face relaxing into a sort of smile that seemed like more of a smirk.

“You may begin when you wish, Ms Echo” Echo stood there, blinking, doing absolutely nothing at all. Several trainers ran at her, punching her, kicking her (or at least trying to) but she simply blinked and dodged it, her facial features unchanging, a blank and empty stare. “Ms Echo? You should be showcasing your talent.” A blast was shot at her, and once more, she simply dodges. She is excused, and turns to leave the room, exactly like Shuri did (point her finger) with a now playful grin.

“Lifei” the voice calls. Lifei steps up, and a trainer knowing of the pair’s relationship immediately steps up to attack Lifei, trying to get a response of why Echo didn’t fight. Lifei gets pissed, and her outfit and hair changes, as well as her personality. She becomes almost insane and chaotically evil. Her now blond hair flies behind her, her glowing yellowish white tattered dress flying about. Slowly, the Peacekeepers watch in horror as a non solid hand reaches into his chest, pulling out a round glowing orb, his soul. He screams out it agony, and they rush to stop her. However, all are flung back against the wall, and Lifei growls. Echo bursts in and envelops her into a hug, which calms Lifei down. The two then leave together, LIfei returning his soul rather grumpily, as echo chides her.

Echo and Lifei had separated themselves, Echo standing behind Phenix and Maci, Lifei amongst Zahara and Alana. The two managed to quickly and efficiently complete their tasks, and headed off to lunch. Lifei slipped a lollipop into Zahara’s pocket, before the two went to grab some food. The two acted stoic and cold, walking with a graceful, stiff demeanour. It was all an act, for the stupid audience and peacekeepers. Their personality matches Madame B now.

Lifei’s song gradually changed, from Fur Elise, to a much sadder, more depressing one. It foretold of danger forthcoming, a warning, a reminder to unite, and stand together. The song was heavily meaningful, enveloped with a silent wish, a urge for the tributes to stand together. It carried warning of fear, and anger, a feeling of rebellion. People scattered, hope lost, and a never ending tunnel of black. The song mourned for the lost, but carried such a sense of great hope. Echo’s violin notes, too become more ominous, slow, lower sounding notes. The two made the music carry far and wide, a song of willpower and hope, of mourning and grief, and of unity.

Lifei woke up to the beautiful singing, melodious and sweet. She listened for a while, recognising the second tune, Fur Elise. She took out a flute from it’s case, and walked out to the balcony, letting her hair flow as she played the same tune, her dress lightly flowing in the wind. Soon after, Echo joined in, with a violin, the two instrument merging in a cacophony of music, each one complementing the other, none trying to overpower the other, the wind carrying the tune far and wide. The music was sadder, but also hopeful, emotions poured into the song

Lifei’s stomach was growling in hunger. She hadn’t had a soul for such a long time now! As the two were being guided to their room, Lifei gripped onto someone’s soul, latching in and sucking hungrily. Nothing changed, and the pair appeared to be walking peacefully. The only difference was that the poor man was writhing in pain as his soul was ripped from his body. He spasmed, foam coming out from his mouth. Once Lifei was satisfied, the two used their wristbands to unlock their room, and went inside together, locking it before going to take a shower. The man blinked, rising to his feet, before shakily walking away, his eyes hollow and empty, a husk of what he once was. No more thinking, no more feeling, just staying alive.

Thalia swept by everyone, taking her food of choice before walking back to a corner to eat. She swept along gracefully, daintily, much to their surprise. The moment she sat down, Dusk and Dawn immediately leapt into her lap, looking innocently, and hungrily at Thalia. Thalia chuckled, giving them some food, before taking a dumpling from her plate and eating it. The meat was juicy, and the filling delicious, a light taste of sweet blended with savory, not too cloying, carrying a light aftertaste of ginger and garlic. She sipped a cup of green tea, somewhat like those empresses from chinese dramas

Lifei got dressed in a black dress which she kinda liked. Echo got dressed in reddish dress They rode in a black carriage sparkly with gold glitter. When they arrived at the Mayor’s speech part, Lifei rolled her eyes and did the finger, a beautiful butterfly ring on the third finger showing prominently. The pair had smacked the stylist when they had tried to remove the clip in their hair.

Thalia seems overall unaffected, letting her face sink back into it’s usual scowl. She sharpens her nails with the blade of the knife, before replying “I do imply indeed that I may or may not have killed humans. But do you have proof? The last I checked, the rule “innocent until proven guilty still held” After all, there is a 50:50 chance that it’s a empty threat. “I killed someone, or something. I collect blood, all kinds, basically any organs. Fresher the better, most of the time. More properties. Though fermented organs are popular later on when it becomes colder. What I like are those still fresh moving organs. Gets bought easily for high prices too. Enough of that though. Gore-ish post, don’t read if you can’t handle

“Oh I’m sure some of you have your opinions of me already. Well, all I can say it that you’re not entirely wrong.” She chuckles, stabbing a pen-knife like object into a unidentified heart. “I mean, we do sell organs of all kinds. It’s legal though, I’ve checked.” Blood splatters all over her clothing, and onto the floor as well. She curses in some other language, mumbling out an apology before wiping her face, effectively smearing the blood all over herself. “You guys found climbing the mountain hard?” She asks, like nothing wrong is going on. she wipes up most of the blood not on her, then proceeds to dissect the heart.
