Constantly squabbling about whose duty it was that day to interact with him; arguing about who'd have the misfortune to feed him. They did not want a Tiefling child—it was always rumored that Tieflings were cruel, disgusting vermin who'd simply benefit from you as they saw fit, and then abandon you after. It was whispered that their greed knew no bounds. He was abandoned outside a brothel, dressed in nothing but poorly wrapped rags, and taken in simply because of the kindness and sympathy of the beautiful courtesans; who could be considered deities amongst man. He was taught expenses, charisma, the arts, and most especially music. He had grown a passion for music, and took to the streets overconfidently to sing and earn. For five years, he'd strummed his lyre and fiddle his violin, singing folk tunes and rising harmonies, yet it didn't get him far; as he was left starving on the streets with only two pennies to his name. He'd returned to the brothel, but this time, he learned that the courtesans who had raised him were all bought out—save for one. The only one remaining was Qui Sha, a wise Eladrin, who then taught him trade, transaction, and finance. Her teaching style was unique. She'd make him count coins blindfolded so he could weigh them all in the hands and still decide their worth, make him decide the worth of a jewels and then tell him the genuine price so he'd learn to estimate by quality. He still performs, but now it feels as if it is only to validate his worth. To see how much he weighs in gold. To assure anyone listening that he's worth something, that he's not some Tiefling. He now wanders the streets of Lucidom with a sly smile on his face, strumming a suave tune, luring in pretty sailor boys and noble girls for them to pay for an encore. We don't have that many slots available, as our campaign's members have a maximum of 11 (including the dungeon master). This may be edited and adjusted if ever someone chooses to leave the campaign, or if someone joins. UPD as of July 24: People who have pre-reserved their slots before the roleplay was created (Spiderrs, TheCartoonist, and overmyne202) will have until July 26 12:00 PM server time to complete and submit their forms.
