As a premium user:

I'm more than happy to use my money to help support PH. I enjoy the game, and I would like to continue to support its functions. The site probably requires a fair bit of maintenance, money-wise, for the servers etc -I can't imagine that this much space and hosting is cheap.

I don't think the perks benefit a premium user that drastically much. The lab scan is faster, sure, but I've been lab hunting for a while and haven't gotten a dang thing. Bad luck is bad luck, you know? I think the shiny chance improvement is the biggest thing, and that's really just for people who are impatient. Don't get me wrong - I think it's completely worth it to get premium. I just don't think it throws things that badly out of wack for those who are not premium.

I'm voting in favor.

For many years, I worked as a community manager for an independent gaming company. When you're in a position where you have to tell people "no" to something they feel they should be told yes to, regardless of whether it's common sense or not, people have a tendency to become abusive. Maybe not directly, but guilt tripping and sulking IS a thing, and people in positions of authority are human - they don't deserve to have to feel like they're villains for enforcing the rules of the site, ever.

That said, I think that goes for anyone on the game, not just the mods. I just have a sneaking suspicion they probably deal with a lot more attempted guilt trips and manipulation than the usual user deals with. I don't talk to any of them often to know, but if members of PH are anything like players on Steam games..

... we totally need a Mod Appreciation Week or something, lol

ATTENTION

I'm WAY over my 5 order request. I'm not trying to be mean when I say this but until I am caught up, please do not request anything else from me. I'll complete all of these orders, but I don't want to take any more until the previous ones are completed.

I'm also adding a rule: Please do not message me on PalPad to ask for graphics, or when your graphics will be ready. I'm sorry if I am sometimes slow; I try to be quick, but I do work a full time job, and that comes first. Asking me on PalPad repeatedly to do graphics for you sometimes makes me feel very overwhelmed and cornered, like I have to say yes, even if I am very busy. I realize no one means it that way, but please don't put me in that position.

Are they the exact same? In some cases, it's because of the following:

1. Different gender.
2. Different nature.
3. Ending sooner.

In my case, I will almost always bid on one not bid on unless it's ending at a time I won't be online. If it's ending at a time I won't be online, I will bid against someone in order to try and win it - because if I bid on one that ends while I'm offline, and it's a Pokemon that evolves, I will come back to it fully evolved. Or I'll lose the bid when I'm offline and can't keep bidding on it.

POKIMAC -- I should probably add this somewhere in the first post, but unless the attack is used by the Pokemon featured in the anime, I probably can't make a gif out of it. I don't like using in game shots because the gifs are of drastically lower quality.

So I found a Mega Charizard Y attacking gif. I don't know if it's Blast Burn because I've never seen the episodes with any of the Mega Charizards, but I thought it came out nice.

Sorry if this is not what you wanted. I made two sizes - one for forum type use, one for about mes.
