Drew leaped to his feet and glanced around, not knowing where to look.
Then, Splash emerged from a bush, holding two oran berries.
"Splash!" Drew shouted happily, speed-limping over to his Pokémon and kneeling down. "Don't ever worry me like that again." he sighed. Splash looked up at its trainer, then offered him an oran berry.
Drew guessed that it was a peace offering, and accepted.
The Froakie smiled, and then started eating the oran berry it still held. Drew nibbled on the oran berry that Splash had given him, and his injuries seemed to become slightly less painful.

Drew realized that he felt like he was missing something. He looked around for a moment, trying to figure out what it was.
Froakie... check.
Jacket... check.
Bag... That was what it was! He glanced around, and saw it on the ground nearby. He limped over to it and knelt down, looking through it for anything useful. He found a poke ball and put it on the ground beside him, and then found five more, and placed them on the ground near the first one. He paused, noticing the scratches on his wrists. So that's why Splash's attack hurt so much. He dug through his bag, finding several bandages. "Hey, Splash, a little help here?" The Froakie, who was looking at something, came to its trainer's aid, doing what it could to help Drew bandage his wrists.
"Thanks, buddy." Drew thanked his Pokémon, but the Froakie had disappeared.
"Splash?"

(Why does my last post suddenly say "r/n" in so many places? I didn't type that...) Drew gave up on the idea of climbing the tree, since Splash clearly didn't think he should even try. He picked up the Froakie and continued to look for some help, or at least someone who could communicate with him with words, instead of pain. He thought he heard voices, but he couldn't be sure.

Drew picked up the Froakie and got to his feet, wincing again.\r\nHe limped over to a tree, and gazed up at it.\r\n"I bet that if I climbed this tree, we could figure out where we are."\r\nSplash looked at its trainer, as if to say, Not in your condition.\r\n"C'mon, Splash. I'm fine."\r\nSplash met its trainer's eyes, wishing it were easier to communicate with him.\r\nI really don't wanna do this, Splash thought. but it's the only way. The little water-type leaped out of Drew's arms , and launched its Bubble attack, aiming for its trainer's wrists.\r\n"Ouch!" Drew yelped. "What was that for?" He demanded, glaring fiercely at Splash, although squeak of pain had not left his voice.

The first thing Drew was aware of was that he was on the ground.
"Wh-What happened?"
He noticed a Froakie laying a few feet away. It took a moment for him to remember that the Froakie was his.
"Splash!" He leaped to his feet, wincing at the unexpected bolt of pain that shot through his foot, and limped to the little water-type's side and knelt down.
"You okay, little guy?" The Froakie looked up at the person that was at its side, and then remembered who he was. The water-type was only scraped up a bit, and it sat up and looked at Drew.

Character Name: Drew
Age: 12
Gender: Male
Appearance: A bit small for his age, with brown hair and green eyes. In Spring/Summer he wears a black shirt, jeans and sometimes a jacket(in Spring). In Autumn/Winter he wears a black shirt, jeans and a jacket.
Personality: Moody and shy. He is independent and stubborn, but is always willing to help others. He has a hard time trusting others, but is endlessly loyal to those who earn his trust. He is nervous and easily startled, but is able to keep calm in dangerous situations.
Injured or fine?: Drew's wrists are scratched up kinda badly and his ankle is sprained slightly. Splash has a few scrapes.
