Caspian looked around at the debris of the cottage. “W-what happened..?” he asked, looking around and seeing everything destroyed. “W-w-where’sassssssss M-M-Mommy?” he asked, getting out if Yumine’s protective stance and going around, trying to push a bunch of heavy debris to look for her, starting to cry. “M-Mommy?” he asked, continuing to look around and being more upset.

Caleb said, “Yeah well good for you!” That was it really. He got pulled into the portal by the chain of smoke and disappeared into it.

Caleb grumbled, still trying to pull away from the chains. “No way, you little baby! You just tried killing me!” he said. He had no idea how much longer the chains would last for.

Azazel watched as the man carried Mercy away. Boy did he wish he could just kill her now. He might just do it right there and then, but didn’t because Bliss was watching.

Caspian was sniffling as he continued getting hugged by Yumine. “W-what happened?” he asked.

Caspian nodded his head. “A-are you o-okay?” he asked. He didn’t want anybody to be hirt from what had just happened. He had no idea what was going on.

Caleb was trying to get out to no avail. He sent multiple air slashes at the smoke chain which did nothing, since he didn’t have as much control over everything as Scara did.

Azazel walked out of the fire. “I think my job here is done.” he said, walking through a portal in the ground and it closing behind him as he landed at the Distortionist base.

Suddenly, Azazel yelled, and silence came, before a major blast happened inside the cottage, releasing a golden light that blackened and became like a fiery hellscape as the house was destroyed, and what remained of it was fire, smoke, and scorched ground.

Caleb continued the fight, backing up with anemo and stomping on Chains, using Scara’s ult skill and causing a major blast of air. He looked back at the cottage, seeing it destroyed.

Caspian was scared and held onto Yumine, since he had covered him in hopes of protecting.

Azazel got hit and was attacked with vines, but that didn’t stop what he was doing. Air seemed to get sort of sucked in a bit the more he charged up the small ball of pure power. He was almost done charging and the cottage would soon get exploded.

Caspian was getting a little worried now as he ignored instructions and went out of his room to go see what was happening.

Caleb sighed. “Look, I don’t really know how to control this body, so we’re doing this the experimental way, alright bucko?” he said; before infusing his anemo with hydro. Water was good against smoke right?

Caleb suddenly used anemo on the ground and softened the impact, but it was still a rough landing as he got up. “Well mind telling me how to do this?” he asked. He sent some wind blades (hehe) at Chains, hoping to distract.

Azazel saw Yumine enter and sighed. “Well, I could always go for a bit of destruction.” he said. Energy started to gather around him in a small ball in front of him. Azazel was gathering his power for one big blast.

Caspian had heard some noises, but stayed in the art room, a bit scared to go out and remembering he was told to not go out if there might be danger nearby.

“I’m trying to figure out how you freaking move in this dang body.” Caleb was trying to figure out how he was going to fly up and down and use the skills Scara had. “Now how do you work this thing.” Caleb felt the smoke chain and got dragged down, about to crash into the figure who was doing so.

Azazel nodded, ready to do some damage now that he was the only one left in the house who was on the bad guys side. He had almost fully broken the shield Iteral had made, and was about to start on the offensive side.

Caleb started laughing through Scaramouche’s body. “Yes! It worked!” He looked at chains. “Hmm… I always wanted to know what having magic was like.” Caleb activated an ability of Scaramouche’s and suddenly flew straight up in the air.

Azazel winced a bit at the heat but seemed a bit unbothered now that he had put his wings away. “Fine. Just this once though.” he said. He put his swords away and grabbed on to the shield, starting to rip it inti two pieces.

As soon as Scara kicked Caleb, he activated his powers. He seemed to disappear, going in to Scaramouche’s body and no long on the ground. He found himself in control of the puppet’s body. “I’ve waited so long to do this.” he said, walking around in the new body. He wondered where Scara’s consciousness went to.

Azazel got one of the swords stuck on the spikes, but that would just make it easier for him to pull on, which is what he did to try and get Iteral out of the way. He also didn’t answer her question either.

Caleb saw the electro coming and sighed, too slow to dodge it and got hit again. He was now on the ground, paralyzed again. “Well this is great.” And now his settings changed from replacement words to nothing at all.

Azazel sighed in annoyance as the light shield bumped him back a little but he mainly resisted it. “You should stick with shadow magic honestly.” he said. He took out his other sword and sent a barrage of attacks at the shield, hoping to somehow tear it with the serrated edges.

Azazel made himself visible and was now next to them. “You two seem quite defenseless. A great time for murder you could say.” he said, taking one of his swords from its sheath. “Now, the Goddess is the one dying on the floor, yes?” He said, before shoving Iteral to the side as she was fighting Scaramouche with her shadows at the moment.

Caleb started running towards Scara. If he could just touch him a little bit he would be able to possess his body. Hypothetically anyways. He had never tried to as Merch had forbidden it.

Azazel had snuck his way up the house walls and gotten through the window, looking at Iteral’s real body and extended shadow. “Well, isn’t this a lovely surprise?” he asked, looking at her and the sickly goddess. “My, what a horrible thing that happened here?” he said, walking up to them. He looked angrily at the goddess, ignoring Iteral’s existence completely.

Caspian didn’t have a clue what was going on, and assumed everything was all good. But he was getting a bit hungry.

Caleb saw the shadow and went outside, seeing Scara fighting it. He knew it. “Hey! You poop!” he said, running out of the house.

Azazel had gotten the message and nodded his head to himself. He decided to wait for a bit to find an opening he could sneak into the house with. He was in the shadow of a nearby tree with his dark wings around him.

Caspian was upstairs drawing with some colored pencils Iteral had given him earlier. He was jusy minding his own business.

Caleb scowled at Scaramouche, then ate some more of the food. “Fudger.” he said. He was still mad he couldn’t curse.

Azazel smiled menacingly, his eyes glowing a bit. “It would be my pleasure.” he said, walking off after Scaramouche. He was stuck with the puppet again, which he didn’t mind. He walked next to him. “So, the plan is to just us the pill on her?” he asked him, looking down to look at him.

Caspian slowly started waking up and yawned a little, hugging on to Mercy some more as he slowly woke up from his big sleepy time. He was feeling good this morning.
