FireWolf, it's moreso a personal reminder of when the mod's birthdays are. I mean, I enjoy the banners going site-wide as then it's a "happy birthday" type of thing and everyone knows, but some people may just want to be reminded it's a mod's birthday so they can send a small gift, or palpad/PM the mod a birthday message :> and the people who get annoyed about the banners won't need to see them.

**EDIT: If these numbers seem lower, that was because in the beginning I had made a typo and had a miscalculation. I'm sorry. I confused myself greatly too - but I can assure you that these are now their proper numbers. I apologize for the inconvenience.
I was off by roughly 800 rock gems (oops?) and I'm not sure how I messed up that badly. I'm assuming I had accidentally slipped in an extra "0" when I was going to write 200-something rock gems. I'm sorry again.

Felix's Shiny-Mega Tyranitar Hunt

Hello! I (Accident) will be hunting for a Shiny Mega Tyranitar. To make my goal, I'd like to ask you for help! What type of help? I have a major need for ground and rock gems.
But I don't want your help to go unnoticed, so I decided to create a lotto for it! Rules and information will be listed below, so keep on reading :)

Rules
-> All Pokeheroes rules apply.
-> No double posting.
-> When sending items over Delibird Item Delivery, PLEASE state that they are for the lottery or they will NOT count as tickets.

Rock Gems: 2574/30,000

*Every 5,000 gems saved up, a shiny or mega-able larvitar SLOT will be awarded to a random person who donates. (Slot meaning once I hatch it, it's yours. I may not have the shiny or mega-able right away.)

A mix of 10 rock/ground gems = 1 ticket.
5k PD = 1 ticket.
50 nuggets = 15 tickets.
1x Dragon Gem/Star Piece = 12 tickets.

I just figured I should mention that the "Event" part doesn't matter, as they are not considered from a region. (Kanto, Johto, etc) but that they are from their own region "Emera". If you check your pokedex, it'll be confirmed. (So Emera would be added to the region dropdown menu, as it IS a region, and the event checkbox wouldn't exist as the events aren't sorted by the region of the pokemon they're based off of.)

..... How does that make it any easier, honestly? It doesn't.
You can't compare anything to getting a victini xD
Either way - if people want to shiny hunt a legendary, they should just hoard the items (like they usually do!) They shouldn't be forced to shiny-mega hunt a specific charizard and Ampharos.. smh.
I mean it already takes a lot to shiny hunt legendaries (Cost-wise)
I'd hate to spend my time shiny-mega hunting just to get a shiny legendary :/
Also it could probably be abused and people could end up with 500 shiny legendaries..
I mean, there isn't anything stopping people from shiny hunting legendaries until they have 500 -- but nobody usually wants to. This would completely ruin the market too, as far as I can tell.
The people with shiny-mega ampharos and Charizard (X) would be way on top of the market, while everyone else just...*shrug*

Is something like this implemented in sun and moon...? (I haven't played the games)
If not I mean, it IS inventive but it doesn't really make sense. Previous legendary summoning items haven't required that we have specific pokemon
Well, for maps you need a specific-typed pokemon, but nothing as specific as a mega ampharos / mega charizard X.
Also.. isn't just having the items as a map easier for people? I dunno.
Or it could be done like the "Stones" (As in, finding them from boxes and then needing to be lucky enough to get the pokemon from the safari zone, or the tall grass)
Sorry, but there isn't support here for me :/

Alright, so basically I was returning someone's breeding pair.
I set up two pokemon in the GTS, and OT (Other person) Offered.
I accepted both offers (two Caterpie events.)
On one trade, the Gardevoir went through, and I got the Caterpie event.
On the other trade, the Gardevoir stayed in my party, but I ALSO got the Caterpie event that was offered on it.
On the OT (other person's) notifications, they got two messages that said "Accident has accepted your offer! Blah Blah" (GTS offer-accepted message) but they didn't get the second Gardevoir.
This wasn't really a big/important trade, but it could happen again and it might happen with a major trade, leading to issues.
