Carrie then acted on impulse. She very slowly took a step attempting to make the least amount of noise possible. Her heart pounded. What if this was a bad idea? What if she should have just stayed in her room?

Why had she snuck out last night? If she had stayed in her bed she would have still been there in the morning. She bit her lip and shook her head. No, there was no time for thinking things like that. Now she needed to get out of this place and back home.

She took another step, another one, one more. She was an arms length from the girl. Carrie’s heart felt like it might pound right outside of her chest. The air was still and silent and Carrie couldn’t bear it anymore! She needed something, no anything to distract her from the thoughts that flooded her head.

Carrie nervously walked forward looking down mostly but every once in a while she looked up her eyes darting around the hall. Soon enough she saw a figure, another girl it seemed. She held her breath and stopped walking not wishing to attract attention to herself but she couldn’t hold it very long. Carrie looked over to the food that had been deposited into her room. “Uh thank you...?” She called curiously wondering how the food got into the room anyway. She Haden’s seen the door open but at the same time she had probably been to far in her thoughts to notice. “Can I eat this or do I wait till I’m told to?”

She whispered to herself. Her parents were always strict about eating times, they didn’t want her wasting time late, or to much, stuff like that. She didn’t mind, they were strict because the cared and it wasn’t to bad. Maybe annoying at times but not mean!

“O-oh ok!” Zoey smiled following Dmitri once again. Zoey had never heard of a circus with dancers, only gymnastics, or clowns, and such. Though maybe that’s why? We’re circuses always looking for dancers so they never had any?

The thought boggled her but she noticed that she had stopped walking so Zoey yelped quickly catching up with her ‘tour guide’. (By them I’m assuming that means Dmitri and Zoey, excuse me if I’m wrong @BageltheBeagle) When Shadow had said hello it startled Zoey a bit but she quickly calmed down smiling. “Oh, hello. I’m Z-Zoey.” She smiled proud that her stammer actually hadn’t been that bad that time.

Looking around Zoey was in aw of what she saw. It was the little things things that impressed her the most but all around she knew deep down she was going to love it here. Snapping back to reality Zoey looked back to Dmitri Zoey replied. “Oh well...” She stuttered. “I can dance.

Is that an act?” She asked nervously. It was the first thing that came to mind for her, she’d spend her free time twirling around to the songs of the birds so it just... cam naturally to her.

Carrie groggily woke up rubbing her eyes excessively as she slowly looked around. “Where... am I...?” She asked herself quietly stretching. She didn’t going here last night, than again her memory was terrible so maybe she did. As 5he speaker spoke Carrie listened without saying a word.

After all, it had explained why she was here! She had been alone last night and now she was here! Yeah, to Carrie it made total sense.

Character name, gender and age: Carrie Oakwood, Female (she/her), 10 Years Old
Character Description: Carrie has tan skin and long dark almost black colored hair. Her eyes are a saturated emerald green color and for clothing she wears a cherry red tank top, white jean shorts that are tore at the ends, and black and white sneakers with think soles so she can be taller. (but that doesn’t really matter because you said they’re getting a change of clothes anyway lol). She’s rather short and had a small burn mark on her right hand from an acceding from when she was younger. She thinks a lot and normal doesn’t talk you’ll see her commonly with a notebook and pencil writing down thoughts and stories. She a little naive and lacking in the social department but she’ll still a decent friend. She just... needs a little work on compromising and learning to work with others.
