Alice

(too lazy to write a long post)

Alice walked up to Artemis, Bendy, and Sobble. Their conversation seemed quite fruitless, so she decided to reveal the information she had acquired. After all, she hadn't died yet, but she might as well be. Her role was far too dangerous to the Mafia-aligned characters anyway.

"As I previously stated, my role is the Psychic. I've claimed my first and second investigations to be on Bendy and Sobble, the Resurrector and Crewmate respectively," She calmly stated to the three. "But."

"I lied about my first investigation. It was actually on Artemis, the Witch. That, paired with my last investigation, which revealed Izumi to be the Murderer, means that I have discovered two of the three mafia members."

She hoped the remaining characters had the mental capacity to follow her vote as she voted for Izumi.

Alice

Alice's eyelids fluttered open as she gradually emerged from the realm of sleep. Groggy and disoriented, she blinked several times, trying to bring the world into focus. The soft morning light filtered through the curtains, casting a warm glow on her fair skin.

Stretching her limbs and yawning, Alice sat up, taking in the details of her surroundings. The cabin walls were adorned with delicate wallpaper, depicting intricate floral patterns that brought a touch of nature into the confined space. A small bedside table held a vintage clock, its ticking providing a gentle rhythm to the room.

As she swung her legs over the edge of the bed, Alice noticed a subtle change in the airship's ambiance. The corridors seemed quieter, the usually bustling atmosphere now replaced by only the eerie sounds of the airship. She couldn't shake off the feeling that something had shifted overnight, deepening the mystery that surrounded her.

"Had no one died this night? How intriguing." She murmured.

"I am the Psychic. My last two investigations were made on Bendy, the Resurrector, and Sobble, the Crewmate," She announced assertively. "With that, I believe our next primary suspect would be Artemis. Their nonchalant and uncaring actions are quite suspicious, at least in my eyes."

Alice

Alice turned her head, her eyes scanning the airship's surroundings with a mix of curiosity and caution. The corridor she stood in stretched before her, adorned with ornate handrails and plush carpeting that absorbed the sound of her footsteps. The walls were embellished with intricate tapestries depicting scenes of mythical creatures and grand landscapes, their vibrant colors contrasting against the rich, dark woodwork.

As her gaze wandered upwards, Alice couldn't help but marvel at the soaring arched ceilings adorned with mesmerizing frescoes. The paintings depicted celestial beings and epic battles, their ethereal beauty capturing her interest momentarily.

The airship's windows, strategically placed along the corridor, allowed streaks of sunlight to filter in, casting gentle beams that danced across the polished floor. Alice paused, her hand lightly tracing the intricate patterns of a stained glass window. The vibrant hues illuminated the corridor with a kaleidoscope of colors, casting a surreal ambiance on the passage.

She turned back to Sobble, her gaze cold and calculating.

"Relying on an external force that may not even exist now? How...generic," She sighed. "You might as well as say your role out loud right now."

Alice

The elegant airship's interior was a marvel to behold, adorned with intricate woodwork and plush velvet drapes. Polished mahogany panels lined the walls, complemented by golden accents that added a touch of opulence. Crystal chandeliers bathed the corridors in a warm, ethereal glow across the luxurious cabins and common area, while red silk curtains framed each window, offering glimpses of the mesmerizing panorama outside.

Alice, her senses heightened by the excitement of the game, couldn't help but notice every little detail as she moved through the airship. Sobble might only be an eccentric individual, but it was the details that mattered in a game like Mafia.

"It truly is rather unfortunate that it had to come to this, but this is a matter of life and death. Reflecting suspicion back to me is a rather...abject action, is it not?" Alice artfully retorted. "Would a member of the Mafia not be afraid of their death? There always is a chance for you to be a Murderer, no?"

She swirled a strand of her hair with a finger. This was getting interesting.

"Anyhow, your spouting of pointless chatter and sudden aggression leads me to believe that you are, indeed, a member of the Mafia. As such, I shall cast my vote."

[Alice voted for Sobble.]

Alice

Alice stirred in her sleep, her dreams fading away as she gradually became aware of her surroundings. The gentle hum of engines filled the air, and the soft swaying motion beneath her told her she was on some kind of moving vehicle. Slowly, her eyes fluttered open. Confusion swept over Alice as she realized she was in a strange place. The surroundings were unlike anything she had ever seen before. Steel walls adorned with intricate gears and brass accents surrounded her.

"I'm in some sort of mafia game," She murmured to herself. She'd heard of such games, where players took on roles and secrets were revealed. "This will be...fun."

She was experienced with those. She'd easily win, after all. Standing up and stretching her arms, Alice steadied herself and took a deep breath, attempting to gather her thoughts.

“Alice…..I’ll have a pizza with ink please…..”

"My, that sounds absolutely disgusting. Please never mention that again, I can feel my olfactory organs burning with the smell of ink already."

Hmmm...yes. The first rule of Mafia, never act confused. Ultimately, those who know not see all.

"With the limited amount of information we have here, it would be nigh impossible to fully deduce the identity of a member of the Mafia. However, from the little we have, I do believe that Sobble has a great chance of being one of the three that we must vote out to win," She stated. "He'd only stated the obvious, acted confused, and distracted us with unnecessary details. Therefore, if we were to vote someone today, it would be him."

Satisfied with her little speech, Alice leaned against a nearby wall, awaiting reactions.

Ōmagatoki: Convergent Resolutions (Last Game)

Quote from ???
Futile is the struggle against the waters of Destiny, above the grasp of gods and kami alike.

Otherworld, this antediluvian paradise, shall be washed anew.

Through the celestial deluge across this nebula among a void of nothingness, this world, lost and directionless, with spirits and deities struggling to survive on a dying, finite plane for fear of fading away...

There has been no escape from us since the inception of this world.

Each and every choice made is naught in the hands of us.

For even Destiny will bow before the imperatrixes of the universe itself.

Fear not of nothingness, for in nothingness lies redemption and an end to sorrow and suffering.

When once again our divinity tread the matrix of this shimmering glimpse of desires, we shall emerge as the ones which conclude this chapter of fate.

We shall return once more, for our existence shall breathe life into the remnants of Otherworld.

A life more than mere survival.

Plot Summary:

Show hidden content
A divine rain of azoth, the universal solvent, has befallen Otherworld, threatening to return it to its primordial state. Starting out as a harmless, light drizzle across Elysium, it quickly spiraled out of control, purifying gods and entire realms back into prima materia, the formless matter existing before the creation of the universe, and the basis of all matter as well.

The Legendary Sages of Otherworld, upon hearing this news, decided to hold an emergency meeting. But it was too late- the azoth rain had already caused irreversible damage to Elysium, and it appeared that the layers below it would soon follow the same fate. Not even Astraea Syntribos, the Sage of Chance's luck manipulation could do anything about it, nor could I'riyon, the Administrator of Time, reverse the situation. The Sages were at a loss, it seemed that their return was inevitable, and nothing could be done about it.

It was then that Norcrosse, the Overseer of Crossroads, recalled a shard of information from the Archives of Old, an ancient astral construct used by the former Legendary Sages to store information. The shard said of a portal at the very bottom of Otherworld, capable of transporting humans, and humans only, to the Continuum, the dwelling of Destiny herself. Satisfied with this information, the Sages set out on locating the few remaining spirits in Otherworld and granting them a human form.

Desperate in their attempt to accumulate spirits in order to send to the Portal and negotiate with Destiny, and unable to leave their sacred chamber above Elysium, the Sages had failed to realize a fatal mistake in their plan- a select few of the spirits were devotees of them, willing to sabotage the Sages' plan to prevent their arrival at any cost. But it was too late for any changes to be made. More of Otherworld corroded away in the deluge of azoth with every passing moment, and, with the Sages' powerful abilities mostly neutralized by the lack of spirits to grant them faith, their only hope was that the humans loyal to them had the strength and willpower to reach the bottom of Otherworld.

Sutaraitsu Umemoto

Sutaraitsu blinked. "Ehh? Umm, I mean, we can talk and then sleep together?" He shifted closer to Setsuna.

"So, ummm, do you think the government has the original copies of eldritch magic books?" He whispered. "Like, if they're hiding them from us to keep us in the dark?"

Name:

Drakoronya, the Vile Vio

Show hidden content
Species: The Vio

Gender: Undisclosed

Appearance:
Drakoronya, the embodiment of darkness and arrogance, exudes an unsettling presence. Their entire body is adorned in violet fur, shimmering with an ethereal glow. A violet flame dances at the tip of their tail, casting an eerie light upon their surroundings. With dark blue eyes gleaming with cunning, and light blue wings spanning wide, Drakoronya is a formidable sight to behold.

Personality:
Drakoronya embodies a malicious combination of rudeness, ignorance, foolishness, arrogance, jealousy, aggression, selfishness, greed, egocentrism, disrespectfulness, and rudeness. Their demeanor is marked by an insidious sense of entitlement and a complete disregard for others. Drakoronya believes themselves to be superior to all, harboring an envy-fueled bitterness towards those they perceive as rivals. Their aggressive nature is fueled by a relentless desire to dominate and control, leaving little room for empathy or compassion.

Abilities:
Drakoronya wields a formidable array of dark and fairy abilities. They can unleash violet/blue fire from their maw, capable of scorching their adversaries with malevolent flames. With their power over the mind, they can delve into the thoughts of others, exploiting their weaknesses and secrets. Drakoronya can also conjure violet/blue fireballs, projectiles of destructive energy that strike fear into the hearts of their foes.

Backstory:
In the forgotten depths of Dragon Island, a dragon named Drakoronya was born into a realm shrouded in darkness and secrecy. From the very beginning, their essence resonated with the eerie brilliance of violet. The caves they called home echoed with their whispers, their presence rarely glimpsed by the outside world.

Drakoronya's journey into the depths of malevolence began with a seed of discontent that took root in their heart. Envious of the harmonious unity among the dragons of various species, they yearned for the power and recognition that they believed was rightfully theirs. Their insatiable greed and thirst for dominance consumed their every thought, leading them down a treacherous path.

As the darkness within them grew, so did their arrogance and ignorance. They scoffed at the bonds of camaraderie, viewing them as weaknesses to be exploited. Drakoronya's jealousy ignited a fiery rage within, causing them to lash out at those they saw as rivals. Their aggression knew no bounds, fueling their relentless pursuit of power and control.

In their pursuit of self-gain, Drakoronya turned their back on the principles of empathy and compassion. Their selfish desires eclipsed any semblance of care for their fellow dragons. They reveled in their greed, accumulating treasures and hoarding them within their hidden lair, their egocentric obsession clouding their judgment.

With each step down the path of darkness, Drakoronya became more disrespectful and rude. They treated others with disdain, belittling their achievements and dismissing their worth. Their actions bred resentment among their peers, isolating Drakoronya further and fueling their descent into the depths of malevolence.

Now, deep within the caverns, Drakoronya resides, surrounded by the shadows that mirror their twisted soul. Their violet flames dance in the darkness, a testament to their corrupted power. Their existence stands as a chilling reminder of the dangers that lie in allowing one's worst impulses to reign supreme.

Only time will tell if Drakoronya can find redemption, or if they will forever remain a symbol of darkness and the consequences of succumbing to the allure of power and selfish desires.

Akari Nagai

"A frying pan? Cool!" Akari said as he blasted a light spirit with a laser, which in retrospect probably wasn't the best idea ever. He focused on defending his allies instead for the time being, surrounding Andrea and Lydia with a magical shield.

“What exactly is our task at hand? Other than avoiding being massacred by these little light balls?”

"We need to cross the Acheron and Ekuto rivers after beating up those things...I think. Alice talks fast, I can't really keep up with her sometimes." Akari replied nonchalantly as he spotted a lost soul clad in black battle armor in the distance and conjured a shield around her as well. Spotting the clump of light spirits as well, he summoned a burst of light on them, stunning them momentarily.

Gloria Murphy

Oh. Em. Gee. I finally have a valid reason to use those magical trinkets and stuff I have. This is going to be sooooo totally great!

As Gloria thought about her various magical artifacts and how she could use each one to cause damage to a lost soul, her mind subconsciously led her to the library. This was basically her brain's way of telling her that she should probably learn how to control those artifacts before using them.

Looking around and slightly waving to Marginále, the librarian, a fellow mercenary caught her eye.

"Heyyy, Ariadne! How's your day going?" She whispered, making sure not to disturb the priests and priestesses nearby. "Do you want to...read a book about ways to control ancient magical artifacts, by any chance?"

She picked out a random book from a shelf nearby.

"Magiae Antiquorum Artefactuum" ("The Magic of Ancient Artifacts")

Just what she was looking for.

Ōmagatoki: Desire Drive (Game 5)

Current Time: DAY

All characters may speak during the day. They may also choose to condemn a character to the Extermination Room.

Amidst the desolate ruins of Mastix, a new dawn approached. The recirculation of divine energy in Mastix after the death of Homusubi (in Game 4), the kami-no-kami of fire, had helped regain a small portion of its once-intense warmth. The Pantheonum and Obeliscus shined in the distance as the subterranean sun became visible.

The air filled with anticipation as the fourteen spirits gathered from far and wide, their gazes filled with both hope and trepidation. They had received the coveted invitations to the fifth Ōmagatoki, an opportunity to escape the confines of Mastix and venture towards Elysium.

Among them stood a figure, draped in the ethereal robes of Elysium, radiating an aura of mystique. It was Kojirou Inari, the kami of luck and foxes, the orchestrator of this grand event. With a flourish of his hand, he addressed the assembled spirits, his voice carrying the weight of their collective desires.

"Welcome, dear spirits, to the fifth Ōmagatoki," Kojirou Inari announced, his voice resonating through the air. "You have been chosen for this extraordinary challenge, a chance to reclaim your dreams of Elysium."

His keen eyes scanned the hopeful faces before him, taking in their determination and longing. The spirits knew that this game held the key to their liberation, a path that could break the chains of their tormented existence.

"The trials that lie ahead will test your mettle, cunning, and resilience," Kojirou Inari continued, his voice both encouraging and enigmatic. "Each step will bring you closer to the realm you yearn for. But remember, only one faction shall emerge triumphant."

With a wave of his hand, a circle of fourteen houses materialized around a large podium, serving as a visual reminder of the game that lay ahead. "May luck be on your side," Kojirou Inari laughed, a mischievous smile playing upon his lips before he vanished without a trace.

Quote from A GuideThere are a total of 14 roles. Below is a guide on what each role should do in terms of general strategy.

Human-aligned Roles

Civilians (3)

[The Civilians have no special ability, and thus only provide voting power. They should attempt to figure out their fellow Humans. If a Miko claims to have found a character to be aligned with the Yōkai, they should vote for them as well since they are statistically more likely to be Yōkai than a Rokurokubi.]

Rokurokubi (1)

[Unaware of their true role as they see themselves as Civilian, yet investigations will find them to be aligned with the Yōkai, and they will reveal as the Nukekubi upon death. If found to be aligned with the Yōkai, attempt to defend themselves. Claiming Civilian in advance may help.]

Alien (1)

[Unaware of their true role as well since they see themselves as Civilians as well, but they have a beneficial passive in showing their true role as Alien to investigators. Otherwise just a basic Civilian.]

Miko (1)

[Finds Yōkai-aligned characters. If a character is discovered to be aligned, the Miko should present the information to other characters, as the Komainu can protect them from kills indefinitely. However, if the Komainu is dead, it may be advisable for the Miko to withdraw their information until there is only one or two Yōkai-aligned roles alive, or they have discovered at least 2 characters to be aligned with the Yōkai.]

Pacifist (1)

[May choose to save a character from their condemnation. Only save characters that are confirmed to be Human-aligned, you strongly suspect to be Human-aligned, or the Karakasa-kozō if you want an extra ally on the Humans' side, as both you and the character you attempt to save will die if you save a Yōkai-aligned character.]

Oracle (1)

[May scry a character each night and reveal the role of their last scryed character upon death. Acts as a single-use, 100% accurate investigation that is broadcasted to all characters. Useful for baiting the Futakuchi-onna (see below) into wasting their ability if they are targeted by the Yōkai Night Kill, as they have a special death message revealing the last scryed character's role.]

Komainu (1)

[Protects a character each night. Protect any Miko claims as it is the most important Human-aligned role, but strategically alternating between protecting multiple characters and playing mind games with the Yōkai Night Kills may be more beneficial. The Komainu's protection protects against all kills as well.]

Yōkai-aligned Roles

Ashura (1)

[May kill an extra character once per game. A very powerful ability, but do keep in mind that your identity as the Ashura will be revealed to all characters upon using your kill. Do not stack your kill with the Yōkai Night Kill on characters protected by the Komainu as the kills will not pierce through their protection (unlike with Saints).]

Futakuchi-onna(1)

[Has a powerful ability in withdrawing information from the Humans by hiding the role of the Yōkai Night Kill's target to everyone but themselves. Under normal circumstances using your ability on the first possible night as it will be more beneficial in general, but you may want to save it for later when the Oracle has died, to prevent accidentally wasting your ability.]

Hinoenma (1)

[Converts a role into a Civilian once per game. Converting a Civilian or a Third-party role does nothing and spends the ability. Only use the ability on one of the four Human-aligned roles that have an action they can perform, and prioritize the Miko or Komainu.]

Third-party Roles

Ghost Author (1)

[Has a Will they can write in at any time. Upon their death or the end of the game, the contents of the Will is revealed to everyone. Must write down the name of two characters in their Will. The two characters will be protected from any kills for the night. To win, the Ghost Author must have at least one of the written down characters alive at the end of the game, and they win by themselves if both are alive. They cannot be killed by any means other than condemnation during daytime.]

[You may find it helpful to fakeclaim Komainu and pretend to protect the two characters you chose, in order to divert the Yōkai Night Kill's attention away from them.]

Karakasa-kozō (1)

[They win when alive at the end of the game. Their playstyle is infinitely flexible as they can win with anyone (including the Ghost Author), so roleplay as aggressive or passive as you like. Upon their condemnation they may choose a character's role to neutralize (see the description in the signups page for more detail), and, if saved by the Pacifist, their neutralization will take effect but they will still be kept alive and may neutralize again if they were to be condemned a second time.]
