Lise grabbed her staff, which was made of white wood and sapphire, and waited outside of Troye's room while trying to calm her nerves. Troye popped out a second later. Lise raised an eyebrow, meaning he had forgotten something. He stood there confused for a moment before heading back inside to grab his wand, putting it on his belt beside his sword. He came out of his room and went with Lise to the Sky Port. Lise was surprised he had his sword. He hadn't touched it since they got here. He hated the thing.

Troye shoved as many clothes as he could into his bag, along with a water bottle. While he was checking to see if he missed anything, something under his bed caught his eye. It was his father's old sword. He pulled it out and stared at it for a second before deciding to take it with him and fastening it onto his belt. He might need it.

Lise had put in a few clothes and a few books on magic into her bag. She put it on her back and took a deep breath. She was excited, but nervous at the same time. This was her first big adventure. Hopefully she was ready for it.

Lise thought for a moment before saying, “James, you and Sari can check the attic for some weapons my dad might have lying around, and he has a load of camping equipment we might need later.
