Character Name: Ark(Nickname) / Markus(Name)

Character Age(16-19): 18

Appearance: Gray hair and Eyes that seem to glow in the dark sometimes. Wears a gray hoodie with a black T-shirt. dark-blue jeans, and Brown boots. Normally stands out in crowds with his height 6' 07". He is slightly pale but otherwise looks normal. Wears headphones around his neck and uses them when things get too loud.

Personality/Backstory:

Personality- He is quiet and tends to sleep a lot. He usually tries to keep his distance from people and large crowds. He puts his headphones on and his hood up when the starts to get nervous/anxious around people or in a crowd.

Backstory- After the meteor had struck, Ark was strangely drawn to it. Despite the warnings he snuck out of his home one day to investigate it, He found a strange crystal on the ground, it glowed with a strange power. He picked it up, wanting to inspect it, but he ended up absorbing it. He was alarmed by this but went back home, wondering what he had witnessed. Then the moon fell...chaos had spread throughout his town and he was forced to leave his family, not because of them wanting him to...but he could tell they were struggling...so he made the choice to leave. He packed what he needed, and ran away from home.

Gemstone Name/Color: Echoshard / Gray with some small traces of Black and White inside.

Power Description: Can copy certain abilities with different effects depending on whether Light or Darkness is used. (Side-tangent: Can make an animal out of shadows if he concentrates enough, has seen the animal before, and understands how they behave. But they serve no battle use and fade if they go too far away from him. They also have no physical form and cannot fight or damage things. Markus mainly uses this for entertainment or goofing off when he's bored. They also have a set time limit despite their size -1-2 hours at most- and the ability takes about 5 hours to recharge. The animals can be controlled by the conjurer who's ability he is mimicking)

Power strength/Weakness:
Strength- During the day his copied abilities using light get a power boost of 2x, but during the night his copied ability using darkness get a power boost of 2x from its original power.

Weakness-During the day any ability he copies gets half of its original power, During the night vice-versa Also, if he over-uses any of these abilities, no matter the time of day, his body will begin to shut down and he will be rendered immobile until he can recover...he can only copy one ability at a time, however, and this has a cooldown of around an hour. (Around half an hour if used at night but around 2 hours if used during the day)
