Thalia does as told and returns to her dorm, leaving the preoccupied and worried Mira alone with her thoughts. She probably needed some alone time to sort out her…stuff. Thalia was never really that good with emotions, anyways. She undressed into more comfortable clothes, then sat on her bed. She whistles loudly, the sound resonating through the dormitory and into the woods, and stiffens, as if straining her ears to hear something. She bolts upright, eyes darting about, before sighing and falling back onto her bed. Her gloomy aura was apparent, as her shadows danced and stretched around her bed. She lies on her bed, eyes open wide, staring blankly.

Thalia chuckles softly at Mira’s statement. She listens to the King speak of said earth spirit, and dips her head in understanding at Mira’s comment. “It is guaranteed, however upsetting. I know how you feel. Should it be the dark elemental spirit that is weakened, I know I too would suffer greatly from its repercussions. It is upsetting, but we must try to focus on the brighter side. Thalia gazed at the bird. She was familiar with illusions, having used it several times, so she wasn’t that impressed. However, she did admire the skill, and the intensity and more importantly— the realisticness of the creature.

She continued speaking to Mira. “Alex Klores was my brother. He too, came to this school. He learnt a lot. Always showing off his skills and playing with me, daring me to give him more challenging skills, to push him past his boundaries. He never failed any of his challenges.”

Thalia’s laugh was like a tinkling stream “Don’t. You are far more powerful than you realize. We all have our own different assets. Mages are different from knights, we have different strengths and weaknesses. Weapons can be taken away from a knight, and they’d be weapon-less. Of course, a good knight would be able to work with more than one weapon. Same goes for Mages. We may not be able to do some knightly things like they can, but we still have our own advantages. In battle, it’s more about skill, tactics and such rather than are you a mage or a knight type of issue.”

Thalia was mildly impressed by the show. “I once had a brother. He was a knight, and he loved archery. He used to show me tricks like these. He was always so excited to share his skills with me……until he died, that is. I keep his bow arrows and quiver with me in my room as a memory of him. He was nice.” She commented and plainly, her tone emotionless.

Thalia let out a noncommittal sniff, watching with a slight look of disdain on her face. “Not that I disapprove, or I know much about knights, but I really do wish he wouldn’t swish it so. Thalia’s bow was stiff. When she got up, she grumbled to Mira “I think I sprained my back. I can’t bend properly.” She laughed shortly, the laugh cold and harsh, though unintentionally of course. She then stretches, before using a short blast of air magic to arrange her dress back into place. The bow had crinkled her dress all sort of wrong. A disaster, as she termed it. Her mouth was pressed into a thin line as she gazed at the King. She definitely wasn’t on first names terms with his Majesty, her family rumoured to have killed one of royal blood after all. Thalia had never asked her parents about it…. “Oh— I never did tell you I had pets, did I? Well, I have three here, currently. Dawn, Dusk— they’re foxes. And Midnight, a wolf. Do you have any pets?”

“I suppose you are more interested in the combination of my magic , not the number of types of magic I have? After all, you do have three too! You’re not the only one curious about the mix and match of different magic for different mages. I am too. I’ve never fully understood why these three types were for me, to be honest. It’s a strange combination indeed. As for yours….I doubt I’ve heard about someone with fire and water together.” Thalia states, looking around at the hall. “I too would like to see your magic. Thalia hummed thoughtfully, before answering “It’s always nice to hear that someone’s had a pleasant day. And in a way, it’s a good thing beauty isn’t your strong suit. That way, you wouldn’t appear so show-offy. Beauty is fickle, brains are rare, but values like respect and and kindness are the hardest to come by. Beauty can be natural too, but looking your best is important when meeting formally. It’s a sign of respect that works both ways. You look gorgeous, if I do say so myself. There’s honestly no real need to thank me. I’m more than happy to help” Thalia smiles, pausing a short while before continuing. “I’m studying many different things to be honest. I’d simply categorize them into…well, let’s say…mage stuff. Practicing my magic, learning new things, physical fitness you know? Things like that. You’re a mage too, aren’t you? What’s your element? “Hello Mira. Has your day been pleasant?” Thalia asks, engaging in polite but not too formal conversation. She walks over to her, standing a short distance way, close enough to help fix the hair disaster as she termed it in her head, but also not too close as to invade Mira’s personal space. Gentle, skilled fingers weaved through Mira’s hair, as Thalia dragged the comb gently through the locks. Deft fingers made small braids, before gently tying the two braids together, and inserting a brooch like clasp that complimented Mira’s dress. Most of the hair was still let down, but now there was something overall different about it— something more elegant yet not too cold and formal, but also neat and tidy.

“Do you like it?” Thalia asks, stepping away to admire her work.

Thalia tied her hair into small elegant braids, with most hanging loosely around. She adorned a midnight blue gown, neatly covered with a light trim of lace. Her gown looked like the moon embodied, and the gold highlights she had artfully placed around simply enhanced her beauty. She wore black gloves, and gold and silver chains covered certain parts of her dress. Thalia wandered off while waiting for the ball to start. She closed her eyes and began humming, and saw Mira. Skyfall City is the world’s newest, most advanced city. No one really knows how to access it, until they do. It’s a city full of technology and Pokemon, where all live together peacefully. It’s also where trainers train their Pokémon, and battle each other. You are a Pokémon trainer, who has just brought your Pokémon over to check out the city, owing to the fact that you received a letter nicely wrapped in a bow, delivered to your hometown by a very cute Fletchling. The message contains a map, that points to a place called Skyfall Trainer HQ. You wonder if anyone else will be there…..this should be fun, right?
