Thalia smiles and curtsies towards Therese, “Thanks!” She shouts, before turning just in time to see Mira envelope her in mist. She watches the mist spread neatly around her. “Clever. Very clever indeed, and such excellent control. She inhales, drawing energy magic from the nearby forest, before releasing it in a specific direction, that parted the mists fast enough for her to reach the forest. Once there, darkness pours out of her hands, enveloping her in it, and forming a black panther. She mimics the low growl of the black panther, leaping into a high arc over the trees, before landing back on her two feet, or in the case of the black panther formation, four feet. She laughs, a light, wind chime sounding laugh. She was still in the forest, and it was pretty obvious what she was doing, bringing the match to her own playing field.

Thalia grins, “Pretty sweet, hmm? Watch this!” She shot a gust of air to carry her upwards, before sweeping her hands, creating a staff of darkness. The staff itself radiated danger, and it was soon clear how powerful it was. When it came into contact with the grass, that small patch appeared corrupted. “There are two kinds of darkness magic. There’s the normal one, the one that creates shadows, and is overall harmless, used for teleportation. And this. The harmful kind. It’s extremely energy draining, if used in large amounts, and extremely difficult to control. One can die from trying to harness too much of it.” Thalia smiles, getting rid of the staff, using her shadows to hide, and blend it with the surrounding shadows. She appears a few feet behind Mira, shouting. “I’d thought you would like to know. It’s best you know what darkness magic can do. It’s vital. No one fighting you out there is going to tell you that nice and polite to your face. They’re gonna attack, and without warning. Best way to avoid it? Light magic, but fire can give you enough time to escape with minor scrapes. If not, dodge out of range, and wait for them to tire themselves out, then attack.” Thalia seems quite okay even after using her magic, sending a small whirlwind towards Mira. “You fight really well. Even with weak earth magic, I nearly got stuck. I admire you”

Thalia bent her legs, springing up like a bunny, doing a somersault as she landed lightly on her own two feet, just dodging the water. She swished her hand in a tight circle, and sank into the shadows, reappearing behind Mira, in her shadow, grinning.

Willow laughed, sending the fire away as it spun in a tornado towards to Samton. Willow blocked the water with a shield of her own, also created out of water. The whole thing she collected with her hand, before throwing it into the air, spreading it over her and Samton. “Go on, your Highness. There’s no need to hold back”

Willow spun in a tight circle, perhaps miscalculating a bit and lightly grazing the tip of Samton’s sword with her finger. She seemed to spin faster and faster, doing some sort of….tap dance with her feet, and a wall of fire swirled around her, just nicely covering her. Interestingly enough, the speed she spun was so fast that she floated in the air for a moment- just a moment, before she landed on her feet and that fire wall covered her.

Thalia grins. “Certainly, if you wish. How should we start?” She asks

Meanwhile, Willow smiles, and makes a first move. She closes her eyes, summoning an orb of water in her hand, before flicking her wrist towards Samton, sending the water hurling at top speed towards Samton. The water itself wasn’t harmful, but the speed of it would, as well as how strongly Willow had sent it. The water came in the shape of falcon, making it more aerodynamic as it cut through the air. Willow’s attacks were already strong from the start, but not so that she would be drained easily.

Thalia smiles, bowing gracefully, and leads the way to the river. “I thought a more secluded area would be perfect. What would you prefer to do first?” Thalia begins practicing, enveloping a small area in darkness, before a poof of air explodes silently and scatters the shadows, sending her hair flying

Willow nods, and prepares to cast her first spell, but stops curiously upon Tien’s arrival. She puts her hands down, deciding it would be too risky to attack, and lets Tien finish talking first.

Thalia smiles kindly at Therese. “Thanks” she whispers. It’s honestly all she can say. She flinched at the sudden appearance of water. “Therese, I know this Luna girl is your friend, but I’m not really comfortable with so many people. I’ve interacted more if you, so you are likeable enough, and Mira is one I would consider a friend. Should we let her in on it? Mira, what do you think?” She whispers once more so only the two can hear. Thalia is uneasy.

“Royalty isn’t about the amount of money you have. In fact, being royalty is much harder than being a commoner. You can’t please everyone, and you will forever have standards to follow, people complaining, protesting and that kind of stuff. As for a kingdom-in-shambles…well, we can get others to help. You can’t change the past, but you can change the future. Change won’t be instant, and it won’t be easy, but it’s your duty to try.” Thalia advises.

She pauses, before laughing. “It’s not like I’m a good example, or the best person to listen to anyways. Actually— I’m probably the worst. I grew up with her horrible family who would probably fit in your kingdom’s royalty status— not you of course. Apart from my brother, they were all cruel, unkind people. I’m pretty sure the rumours about them are true, the killings and stuff you know? Because of them, I never got to experience what a nice family is like. I was taught to frighten, to intimidate, to hurt. My brother was smarter, he learnt that it was wrong to do such things, and tried to teach me better. I understand that now….or at least I’m trying to.” Her voice cracks as she talks about her brother. “He died, you know? My parents killed him. Their own son… You’re not the only one running away from your family. At least their in another kingdom, my parents can easily drag me back.” A hint of bitterness and resentment can be heard in her voice, and she clenches her fist, and the shadows lengthen and become darker for a few seconds, before returning to normal.

Thalia, owing to her extreme worry for Thalia, and Therese’s presence, completely didn’t hear the knock, or Luna’s soft voice. Thalia opens the gel, and wrinkles her nose. “Uhh Therese? What is this?” She dips her fingers in it, gelling down the knots and tangles and smoothing it out” She was surprised at how easily she could tie her hair after that. “This is certainly effective, but the smell…is a little unpleasant.” From her pocket she takes out a small bottle of sweet smelling hair oil, and drips a bit onto her hand, running her fingers through the now finished ponytail. She gestures to Therese. “Sit, and let’s talk. You have probably heard our conversation, so you might as well join us. Just don’t tell anyone else without Mira’s permission.”

She adds in a whisper, making sure only Therese and Mira heard her. “How do you know they’ll hate you? If you show to them that you’re willing to try and change the kingdom, I’m sure they will understand. It will be difficult, but I know you can do it. And you’re different, you can see the kingdom through a different kind of lens, that of royalty. It gives you more insight, more wisdom.”

Thalia grins. “It’s okay. I know you’re a Kleoucster. It’s not your fault your kingdom is the way it is. I’ve also experienced somewhat similar situations. My family is an outcast, due to all that funny rumours flying around. I also can’t control the way my parents act, or how I’m brought up. I’m only able to change myself, as I gradually learn what I’m supposed to do in the world. I’ve always had a bad reputation, being a Feyrer, and it’s not easy. So I do understand you.” Walking closer, she picks up a mother of pearl comb, twisting Mira’s hair neatly into a simple ponytail, using a simple black band to tie it. This took quite a while, as Mira’s hair was rather tangled. “You look pretty.” Thalia comments, admiring her work

“Seeing as I arrived rather late to the academy, I would say I haven’t experienced much of ‘life in the academy’. But the people here seem nice enough. Therese invited me to her circle, so that’s probably what I will join. What about you? You’re also royalty, and a very important one at that. Surely people would be clamoring to join your circle?” Willow asks.

Thalia heads to the the mage field, not having found Mira yet. She walks up to Therese, completely unbothered by the electricity, and asks her. “Sorry for interrupting, but have you seen Mira?”

Thalia smiles. "Dawn and Dusk? I've had them my entire life. Midnight? During our hike up the mountain to kill a dark elemental beast. Oh, Midnight can smell your fear, you know? But you needn't worry. Midnight is extremely patient." Thalia too, sits down, as Dusk bounds over to her. Midnight licks Mira's hand somewhat affectionately, and lets out a purr.

Willow smiles in thanks, rubbing her fingers as she puts the berry into a pouch. She then nods. "You want to go to the training field together, am I right?" Cosmos croaks again, bobbing her head in thanks.
