Forge barely suppressed a smile. "That's useful. I like to know what I'm dealing with." he nodded. "And you believe right. Knowledge is power." he reached the dorm door and twisted the handle. He held it open for Aclyma. "And I just happen to have a holo-pad to plug that knowledge into. He glanced at his watch. 10:58. They'd cut it rather close, hadn't they? First day and almost expelled. In short? Situation normal.

Felix jumped, then swore as his knife slipped and a gash appeared on his hand. He sheathed the knife. "You, found you. Two ORIONs, found them," he said as Locke and Dutch jogged over. "A blue idiot and a red sergeant. We can probably add a medic to that list now." he said, wiping blood away with his other hand.

"Hey." Lasky said to Haruka. "Tough time picking a room?" he asked, rather weary, and gestured towards the multiple doors. It wasn't really like him to make idle chat, but there it was. Everything had just felt... weird... ever since they had come onto the island.

Lasky didn't even attempt to pick a room before the others. He simply leaned against the wall with his arms folded and watched the others go about their business. He didn't mind whichever room he got in the end. He wasn't particularly sleepy either, not after the day's events. And so he just stood there. The butler seemed rather shady. He made a mental note to ask him some questions later on.

Lasky, no longer in the mood to talk, stood back and let the others get on with it. They had a different way of dealing with things, fine. Best let them get on with it and do everything concerning him his own way. He realized that none of them had been anywhere near military life, and he probably did seem like something of a robot to them. He folded his arms over his chest.

Lasky glanced at Yamato. "Old habits die hard." he muttered. "Fine. We can search the building. Want to consider knocking first? For all we know, it's inhabited. I don't think someone would go through the trouble of having it built just to abandon it here." he pointed out. "And Alicia, honestly, you're only a bit better than the others." Then he realized that he was being too harsh and shook his head disbelievingly.

Lasky didn't even flinch when Alicia spoke. He pointed at Yamato. "That's what I've been saying for the last five minutes." he said. At least someone had their priorities in order. "How long do you think we're going to make it with these guys?" Lasky asked Yamato. "They're just too disorganized." he muttered. "And have a tough time listening to others. Lasky had grown up around people who followed orders the moment they were asked. To him, this was pure chaos. He sighed once again.

"Okay, as nobody is going to listen to me, just go ahead and lose your heads." he muttered. Seriously, at this rate, they'd all be dead before nightfall. 'Which, come to think of it, isn't that far away. he glanced skywards. The sun was nearing the horizon, setting behind the building, throwing long shadows on the ground in front of him.

"Hey, hey! Get back here, stay with the group." Lasky called after them. "We have no idea who lives here. And we don't need to lose each other." 'Honestly, some people.' he thought. What they needed was some sort of plan. Obviously, finding shelter would be part if it, but being as obvious as possible and alerting everything on the island to their presence would not be.

"Maybe..." Lasky raised his hand to keep the sun out of his eyes. "There's... some sort of building over there." he pointed towards the horizon. "We should probably head for that. See what it is. Not like we have anything better to do." he looked at the others, who were, by his standards, disorganized and confused. He sighed and shook his head. Of all the people in the world he could be stranded with. No offence, the were good people. But he would have preferred people with a bit more... experience.

Forge saw Aclyma pull away from the terminal. He smiled and shook his head. "You and I are gonna get along just fine." he said. "C'mon, quickly. Let's get back to the dorm. I'll pull the school's schematics for you tomorrow." he beckoned. He started moving off towards the dorms. "Care to specify exactly what you pulled from the system?" he asked, glancing at her as she followed. "And secondly, is it going to be interesting?"

Name: Thomas Lasky
Nickname: Tommy
Age(15-19) : 19
Gender: Male
Appearance: Lasky is fairly tall and slightly muscled. He has dark brown hair which is shaved close to his head. His eyes are also brown. He usually dresses impeccably and takes care of his appearance. A rounded face may make him look friendly, but usually has a frown, as he simply worries too much.

History: He comes from a family where his father is a General and his mother was in Military Intelligence. He had an older brother, with who he had a strong friendship, but he was killed in action, something that traumatized his parents and inclined them to put him through even more rigorous training than his brother had had to endure. He learnt to be independent and not to rely on anyone from an early age.

Personality: Lasky is somewhat stiff. He has a lot of respect for people for people he believes deserve it. He is really big on discipline and rarely smiles. Likes to assess situations logically and thoroughly before actually making a decision and, due to him being rather intelligent, almost always comes to the right one. Can be rather cold and judgmental without meaning to be, but is quick to apologize if he realizes his mistake. Finds people acting childish or overly cheery somewhat annoying, but usually minds his own business.
Crush: None
Bf/gf: None
Other: He's a survivor.

Atriox growled as the wolf bit into his hand. This girl was becoming a bit of a nuisance. He started trying to shake off the wolf, but didn't stop making his way towards the shopping complex. He didn't try to pry the doors open, he simply smashed straight through them. He entered the building looking around. Pain was shooting up and down his arm. He'd deal with that later. "Get my hammer." Atriox growled to Solium, who obediently obeyed and ran back outside to where Atriox had dropped it.

Locus moved away. He'd arrange something to test this little group later... right now, it would be suicide. He wound back towards Chaos territory to debrief.

Felix started jogging towards the base. Ackerson had payed him to help, so that was what he was going to do. 'Payed'... he wondered at the word and smiled. A small piece of ancient technology was clipped to his belt. In was part of his payment, a weapon. No longer functional, of course. He passed the broken gate and stepped into the base, looking around, casually twirling a knife.

Felix was leaning against a tree trunk, looking down at the base. Even from a distance, it was easy to make out the dragon and ORIONs, towering over the other figures. "Holy s**t. It's actually them." he muttered. The group had gained some fame after their battle at the front-line base, and then some incident in the forest... and now this. He glanced to his left. Just as something faded out of view. "Oh no." he whispered.

Locus faded. He didn't need Felix seeing him. Still, from the way he stared, he knew where he was. Good. Then he also knew that Locus was watching him, that he wasn't quite as free as he thought. Still... unfortunate. He rather liked it when Felix didn't know where he was.

Forge looked at Aclyma. "I'd much prefer it if you jammed the video feeds or something like that... but that'd just give us away." he thought for a moment and then sighed and shook his head. "Fine, let's head back... damn, isn't 11 a bit early?" he asked and started jogging towards the exit of the training room. "I mean, come on. I usually stay up till 3 AM or something." he muttered. It looked like there was going to be a drastic change in his normal routine.

"Damn it, back into the shopping complex! Up the stairs!" Cutter shouted. He wondered what kind of reaction times these things had. They weren't exactly the smartest mutants he'd ever seen. If all went well, this would be the third time they had failed to kill them. "On three." he said. Suddenly, another barrage of spikes. "Three!" he shouted and made a break for the front doors.

Atriox succeeded in peeling Kioiki off his back and throwing her to a side. "After them!" he shouted, seeing the humans running for the front entrance of the large building.

"I need immediate medevac!" Locke shouted, running over to Sarge and knelt by him, checking vital signs. Dutch remained where he was. Caboose had returned. "Err... Mr. Sarge, sir?" he asked. Locke rolled over and sat down, hands covering his visor, gently rocking back and forth. He didn't have the heart to tell the kid. "Sarge is pretty tired Caboose. It best if-if you go with him..." his voice broke. He looked around at the carnage. Then he got up. To Jack, who folded his arms, it was obvious that this was a man close the breaking point. Even an ORIONs mind could only take a limited amount of bloodshed, see their friends murdered so many times. He heard a helicopter overhead : the medevac that Locke had requested. That had been fast. Dutch bundled Caboose into the chopper and put Sarge in after him. It took off. Ackerson watched it go from the ruins of his office. These people had only been here for an hour and had already managed to destroy half his base. These people needed support. They were going to get it, if only to get them as far away from him as possible.
He opened a COM line.
"Felix, are you there?"
"Right here, Colonel."

Nobody moved. Ackerson, who had been, until a few seconds ago, shooting at Sliuril stopped. Dutch looked around. The silence was crushing. Caboose had long since run away. The ODSTs remained silent.
"Cowards." Locke whispered. He took Ackerson's pistol from him. Why had he moved? Perhaps he wanted to end this madness. Perhaps he wanted to put Sliuril out of pain. Perhaps he wanted to avenge Sarge. Maybe, deep down, he had always hated Halsey because of what she had taken away from him: first his actual family, then the family she had provided, his ORIONs. And every chance at a normal life. "You ever read 'Man In An Iron Mask', Doctor?" he asked as he casually loaded one round into the chamber. He cocked it and pointed it at her head. He didn't follow the question up. "Goodbye." he said. His finger squeezed the trigger.

(Damn, somebody go wake him up.)

Atriox roared as the nails dug deep into his back and drew rivulets of blood. He dropped his hammer and tried to peal Kioiki off his back. Solium halted his advance towards Cutter and Sliuril and ran to assist him. Polous kept firing, trying to keep the humans still until he got close enough to engage them in close quarters. Their 'cover' had literally started falling apart, it's metal body full of holes.
