The tortoishell she-cat jumped forward and touched her muzzle to the tom's shoulder. "I was so worried about you! I wasn't here when BloodClan attacked." With a pang, she realized that was false. She was just outside camp when that happened.

Skunkfur padded forward and licked Bumblestar's ear. "Bumblestar, those are your kits."

Bumblestar looked at them. The oldest was was a light yellow tabby tom, like Bumblestar, except he had dark yellow stripes on his fur. The next oldest was a ginger she-kit with a white belly and muzzle. Then, there was a bright ginger she-kit, with leaf- green eyes and a brown tail. The youngest was a white tom with gray paws. Bumblestar opened his mouth fell, and fainted.
