Alex took flight from his previous spot in a tree; he glided through the air easily without a problem. He enjoyed the breeze in his face and picked up on the speed.

Torch darted around a few bushes playfully, occasionally pecking at a Joltik curiously. When the little spider Pokémon attacked, Torch dashed away from the bush and tripped on a rock. "Owww!" He exclaimed, slowly struggling to get up from his lack of arms.
Flare looked down at him and easily helped him up. "Careful!" She repeated the one word that she had to say each time the Torchic got hurt, which did happen quite often.
"I'm fiiiiiine!" He responded and instantly ran off again. The Delphox stood and sighed. He never would slow down.

Bell hid in a bush, shaking fearfully. A trainer had just tried to capture her right after separating her from her mother. She felt a tear come to her eye as she thought about what the trainer could be doing to her family if they were caught. She whimpered and poked her head out of the bush to make sure she was alone. No one. She sighed, relieved, but took cover again in case any Pokémon or humans tried to approach.

Bell blinked and glanced out the window. She felt motivated to begin training, but the recent incident had kept her back. She was more than determined to help ensure that humans wouldn't be coming near the dojo. "I wonder how..." She mumbled, staring at the sky.
"So what now?" Flare sighed. "Should we train, go search again?"
"I think you should rest," Bell replied. "You've been up all night. You should at least get a few hours of sleep."
The Braixen sighed. She didn't want to admit, but she was pretty tired. Bell pointed out the exhaustion in her expression. "Fine," she said, dragging herself off.

Before Luke knew it, he was suddenly in a new world. He was positioned on his back at the floor of a small grassy open area surrounded by trees. He looked at himself. His clothes had changed, but that wasn't the thing that confused him. He was lying on top of something. He sat up, turned to look, but realized that he had two long black wings stretched out beside him. Where were his Pokeballs? The question struck him, grabbing his attention. He jumped to his feet to look, and luckily he found them splayed out on the ground, but then another question hit him. Was he the only one there? He took a gaze around and saw he was alone.

"Daphlia?" Blake called once more, recognizing everything in the treehouse right away.

Flare jumped to the ground. She wandered a little, until she stopped only a few feet away from a cliff that suddenly came into view. Carefully yet curiously, she made her way through the small meadow on the cliff and looked down. It was a gorge down below, the same gorge she'd been to before. No way... She slowly backed away from the edge and reentered the cover of the forest.

Alex stared at the sword in his hands. Was he dreaming? What even happened to the way he looked before? Now, his clothes just looked ridiculous. He sighed and decided to explore the new world.

Just as Blake was about to leave, he was thrown into a portal. He woke up outside the treehouse in the Gijinka world and ran in. "Daph?!" He called in.

Flare was shocked to be back. Her Delphox was beyond confused. "Wha... WHAT? HOW?"

Alex suddenly was transported to the world as well. "What the--" he realized his clothes had changed. His appearance now resembled a Chesnaught. "Where..?" He could see a treehouse through the trees a little ways away.
