Alex decided that if Mai could phase him through, it would be enough. He had been prepared to enter with someone else. Once he got inside, he would grab some dust and leave. 	Alex realized that chio was an electric dragon, and the cave was make of rocks. the crystal may conduct electricity, and he could collect the powder that fell if she helped him. If he bumped into Mai, it was game over. She would see what he was planning. A fight would probably break out, and he would probably die to a dragon that could predict his moves. [Read more]

Alex finished his list and scouted the island for trouble. He wanted to know where they stored the crystal. He had decided that in order to figure out how the crystal worked, he needed samples from the actual crystal. First he needed the actual crystal. In order to do that, he would need to find the place where they touches it in the first place. He remembered one of the dragons crashing into it at the ceremony. Maybe there was some dust there so that he wouldn't need the actual crystal. He also needed to know how they transported it. Lastly, he needed to figure out the best way to track it's current position. He flew over the island, looking for the spot, hoping to avoid mai, as she could blow his cover. He was going to steal the crystal.

	Alex returned from his bunker with several items. He had been tinkering for hours, and had created several mountable weapons and portable traps. He needed to fortify his den. He didn't want anyone to snoop, as that would be hard for him to clean up. He lay the traps, stored the weaponry, and equipped the camouflage rock barrager before going to hunt by his lake. 	Alex woke up on the forest floor.. Did he black out? Where was he? He couldn't move. something was on top of him. He couldn't see anything other than the ground. He looked through other timelines for location and time. He found that other versions of himself were trapped, but drowning in the lake, so he might be by there. It was a tree on top of him. Alex scanned the area for Drake. There was no sign other than a couple of claw prints that could belong to any dragon. As he was thinking, he saw a large... thing fly into the clouds. He looked where the thing came from. He didn't see anything, so he looked to see where it had landed. He saw a large shape fall from the sky. He couldn't tell if it was the projectile, he was too far away. Before it landed, everything burst into flames around him, a massive forest fire, returning to normal in a couple of seconds. No heat, just blipped in and out of existence.

"Magma rocks. So that was what hit the lake. Why was it there in the first place?" Alex thought as he returned to the lake. "I'll have to find Drake, ask 'em why he had done it. He hadn't heard of any other fires... " He didn't know. What he did know is that he'd have to update his scrolls on other dragons. (He records everything he knows into a large library of scrolls. He created his own brand of writing utensils by burning some wood, and dips a stick into the ashes.) Alex decided to check out the lake as well, see if there was anything unusual in his thinking spot.

	Alex flew as fast as possible away from there. A meteorite would not be something he wanted to deal with. There would be commotion if someone found him there. Something hit his wing, causing him to tumble through the sky, which he was low in, and into a group of trees. It was loud. [Read more]
