"Twenty-three or not, you're still my baby boy." she teased, pinching his cheek though immediately had her hand swatted away by Kendall, causing her to smile some finding some enjoyment in this. "Oh my God..." Kendall mumbled, noticing how Hyde had began leaning forward some, assuming it was merely to see his embarrassment worn on his face at the moment. He immediately rose from his seat at the bar and retreated back to his initial spot near the bookcase without mentioning what Barron had revealed on how he lost one of his arms.

"I appreciate the formality, Barron, but I'd much rather if you just called me Kayleigh." she smiled, pulling up the end of one of her gloves up to rest near her elbow once again. She turned to scan the room, immediately recognizing everyone. Not by their faces, but by their magic. "Ken, Barron, Geo, Rey, Marlin, Hyde..." she muttered to herself, identifying each of the individuals in the room. "We're only missing a few people. I suppose once they decide to show up, we can get down to business." she announced, rather annoyed that not everyone had gathered quite yet.

Kendall sat silently listening to the bartender Barron and the boisterous person who'd been referred to as Hyde go back and forth taking shots at one another. Mentally, he'd been disturbed but tried his best not visibly to show any signs of it. "Well, just a question; if you don't mind me asking that is, Barron. What happened to your arm?" he asked, deciding to bring it up while the two were on the subject.

A woman began descending a nearby staircase, the sound of her high heels clicking with every step. "I see we're still waiting on a few others to arrive. Kendall, don't have too many drinks." she commented. At the sound of his name, Kendall's neck snapped towards the direction of the woman, immediately recognizing her as his mother. "Mom, I'm literally twenty-three..." he mumbled, hiding his nose in his empty glass trying to prevent everyone around him from noticing he'd now been blushing.

Kendall suddenly jumped up out of his seat at the sound of the door slamming open followed quickly by a boisterous individual making a very unnecessary entrance in his opinion. "Jesus Christ..." he muttered. With his arms still at his side, he extended his fingers on his right hand, telekinetically closing the door behind the person who'd kicked it open. "Some of these people are nuts..." he muttered, sitting back down finishing the rest of his drink shortly afterwards before pulling his phone out and sending a text his mother. 'Please hurry the hell up.' it read.

Kendall quietly sipped at his drink as Barron spoke, looking up at him afterwards. "I mean-- they're assassins, so they probably killed a few powerful people along the way. I know for sure it's got to be somewhat magic related too... My brother hasn't contacted me or my mother in five years since he joined the assassins and he quickly became the leader of them so I'm sure they've gained some strength and numbers, who knows what kind of powers and abilities they have." After speaking, he noticed someone else had entered the building, though wasn't particularly fond of the idea of introducing them. 'At least it's another guy who isn't like twelve or another walking animal.' he thought. He exhaled deeply before turning his eyes back towards Barron, figuring the bartender would get the newcomer's attention as he did with him.

Kendall examined the two others at the bar as they took the attention of who was introduced as Barron after shaking the male's hand. He picked up only one of their names, Marlin. 'What the hell is a cat human? I guess you get anything nowadays in the magical world...' the male thought to himself. He then turned his attention to the other person that had approached the bar, he looked pretty young and couldn't be anymore than 14 or 15 by his own estimate. "They'll recruit anyone these days..." he muttered, taking his drink and swinging it down his throat in a single gulp.

The male wiped his mouth as Barron followed up with a question in regards to what they're waiting for. "I doubt this is everyone that we're supposed to get in here, so I assume we're waiting for more of us to show up and probably for my mom and her people to give us instruction." he answered. The male swirled the tip of his finger along the rim of the cup, sighing and pushing it back towards Barron. "I'll take another, please." he requested.

Kendall watched the bartender as he spoke while making his drink, turning shortly to see a woman take a seat at the bar as well though didn't acknowledge her otherwise. "Please." the male requested when offered the lime before backtracking to what he'd said earlier. "I mean, I guess you're right... I don't really-- get to have much of a choice with this one being that my mother is one of the Elders who supercharged us basically and my brother is the one who organized the whole dark-age fiasco." he explained, forcing a small smile for a somewhat sarcastic effect for a brief second. "I'm Kendall, by the way. I'm sure you'll be seeing me a lot if you're the bartender." he introduced.

"Can I get you something to drink?" Kendall heard called from behind the counter, his head shooting directly towards the direction of the voice. He stared silently at the man offering him a drink as he seemed to laugh at his own joke. "Rum and coke if you have it..." he answered quietly, rising from his seat to take a seat at the bartop in front of the other male.

Upon closer inspection, he couldn't help but notice the bartender was missing an arm and was seemingly hiding it behind something. 'Bringing up disabilities is a sure way to get yourself hated, Ken, don't do it...' the male thought to himself. "So... uh... Are you one of these-- 'Let's save the world', amped up people too?" he asked the bartender, trying his best not to let his eyes glance at the man's missing limb.

✨The Age of Darkness✨

(Actual RP; Sign Ups here)

A group of magical assassins have taken over the world and corrupted it into a darkness. Good magic has significantly weakened, though leaders of good magic have sacrificed their powers in order to bestow great power amongst few individuals. These individuals now are tasked with defeating the evil assassins and restoring the world to its former state, bringing peace and harmony back to earth.

Entering a seemingly abandoned bar, Kendall sighs as he steps inside. He's immediately taken away as the inside of the bar is much larger and glamorous than it appears on the surface, more than likely thanks to illusion magic casted by one of the leaders. "This is our hideout? It definitely fits in with the rest of the town right about now..." he muttered to himself, noticing that the bar is more of a brothel or hotel. He sighs again, stepping away from the entrance in case anyone else entered. Not entirely sure of what to do without further instruction, he takes a seat near a bookcase, pondering at the selection before him.

Koda flings two doors open with a sly smirk on his face, stepping into a room of assassins gathered at a roundtable. "This operation was more successful and easier to pull off than anticipated." he comments, taking a seat at the empty, larger chair at the table. "I have no doubt in my mind the pests are going to attempt to take the world back; I've even gotten reports of an increase of individuals with more power, one of them being my little brother. My own mother is one of the leaders of 'all things good' and I'm sure she appointed him to defeat us. That tells me that good is desperate to cling onto any chance of bringing light back into this filthy world. I won't let them get the chance."

♡ - Appearance: Kendall stands at 6'1" with a slim, slightly muscular build. He has olive toned skin, green eyes and bleached blonde hair with his natural dark brown roots. His hair is somewhat wavy, mainly straight and reaches below his ear, often times it is tied back into a messy manbun if he's feeling lazy. His typical outfit would be regular fit blue jeans with holes in the knee, pinrolled at the ankle with a tucked in white t-shirt, a green and black flannel opened up over it and white shoes. He also has a small scar over the arch of his eyebrow.
♡ - History: Kendall is the younger between himself and his half-brother, Koda. They were raised just outside of Chicago and both were taught magic by his mother at a young age. He became well versed in his powers and in combat, often practicing magical and physical sparring with his brother, using his gymnastics skills to his advantage as well. After discovering his brother had betrayed he and his mother, he was attacked by his brother which resulted in the scar above his eye.
♡ - Personality: Kendall is very driven and determined. Because of this, he tends to be very stubborn and doesn't know when to quit or how to take "No" for an answer. After his brother left to join evil, he comes off somewhat cold and doesn't entirely trust anyone because of how close the two of them were before being betrayed. He tends to be short tempered, a trait he adapted from his brother.
♡ - Alignment: Good
♡ - Power(s): Telekinesis - can be triggered with his hands or eyes. Able to create waves of telekinetic energy though this strains his magic and tires him out drastically. Similarly, he can telekinetically deviate attacks or, with enough energy and concentration, block them by creating a small telekinetic barrier. Due to how much concentration is needed to do this, he often prefers to block attacks with other objects. He is also able to use telekinesis on his own body to allow him to be more swift in combat and can stimulate levitation for a few seconds.
Electrokinesis - create electricity and lightning from his fingers or hands. Unlike most electricity, his is colored red. He is able to concentrate the electricity into a powerful beam, though this will literally burn him out if he does it too much. He often prefers to combine both his Telekinetic and Electrokinetic abilities together by creating balls of electricity to throw as projectiles.
♡ - Other Abilities: Skilled in hand-to-hand combat, able to be agile and make swift movements due to his gymnastics background and with the use of his powers.

♡ - Power(s): Pyrogenism - shoots beams of fire from his hands or feet or streams of fire from his mouth. Koda's fire is colored blue when coming from his body, though once it begins to burn something/someone, it's its normal red/orange color. He prefers to shoot the fire from his hands, considering it burns his throat if he does it out of his mouth too often.
Blasting - with a flick of his hands, Koda is able to set off tiny explosions in wherever his hands are aimed at. It can be a person, though most of the time he will blast them causing them merely to knock backwards. If he charges a blast fast enough, he could explode large-scaled things though as he's charging a blast he becomes vulnerable and has to recharge the ability after too much use.
♡ - Other Abilities: Skilled in hand-to-hand combat more predominantly than Kendall, though not nearly as agile.

These characters are all be evil and can be pretty powerful if you choose to make them so. Most of the time, they can be killed off but they should mostly be forgotten about unless you want to make them full characters.
