Is there anything to be done if you're in the middle of a shiny hunt and the RNG is not providing you any daycare eggs that you can hatch for the Advent Calendar task today? I had a perfect completion streak going and it's going to be really frustrating if I miss that streak and the reward for full advent calendar completion because luck was not in my favor unless I want to break my chain. :(

The CP boost seems bigger once you evolve because it scales with the max CP of the pokemon, an evolved pokemon has a higher max, so it has a seemingly higher boost! The level itself doesn't change when you evolve it, only when you power up the pokemon. As long as you're happy with the IVs and are willing to spend the candy, then you should be good to go!

The visual indicator of the CP bar scales depending on your level, so a level 25 pokemon will appear to have a nearly full bar if you're at level 25, while a level 25 pokemon looks to be only 2/3rds full for a level 40 player!

As far as I'm aware, the only level-dependent thing in GO regarding CP and stats is that the pokemon's stats are randomized for players until they hit level 30, at which point a given pokemon spawn will have the same stats for every level 30+ player who catches it.
