That's a good point and I like that rationale! Maybe there could be some modifications to keep the 'mystery' of it

The event egg boost would function similar to the MA/Shiny boost so it could remain unchanged

EHP/EXP boost could have a further random element, for instance, a 5-15% boost in EHP/EXP for that day. Considering that EHP/EXP gain already varies quite a bit due to RNG and the activity balancing system, this might be fair

PD from interactions: Rather than a flat boost, it could be weighted more towards the higher PD values, but the overall range would remain the same (e.g. instead of 2, 4, 6, 8, 10, 12 or 14 PD with amulet coin, interactions are a little more likely to give 10-14PD). Considering that PD gain also can vary depending on the number of interactions already made, I think this would make it more mysterious

Not likely to, sorry, and my main gripe woth traditional artists is that a lot of people don't take their photos under good lighting? In the least it needs to be on plain paper, and under bright lighting (no shadows from hands/under sunlight if possible)

i feel like a lot of artists here haven't figured out how to photograph their art and i dont really want to deal with blurry photos tbh

Well...you've also said that you don't understand the point of using gems for hunts (due to the cost) even though that considered standard practice now :v

For the average player who only wants to hunt their absolute favourites, they might only want to do the easier eggdexes if they don't plan to shiny hunt all the dex legends. It's not a matter of "I could have a better chance if I waited" but "is the better chance worth spending so much more time and resources"

It's the same game of balance with doing SM hunts with gems or without: you're still paying for flutes, premium, maybe even mega cuffs if you choose not to use gems. Is it worth the extra time?
