I agree you can't throw all logic out the window. But even them some things in pokemon don't make logical sense anyway.

But besides that, I don't think I would want this to last forever because if it did then it would also become boring in time and if it didn't last then people would want more which would be good for the site. It would make people want more events as you said. And the more people the more support the site gets.

In the long run though I just want Riako to at least give an opinion on the plot and if he is willing to add this to PH, at least then I can say I contributed to the site in some way.

I disagree, I think that because we are trainers and we are involved with Emera Town is why we should be able to go in depth with this crime because it affects us. If eggs are being taken from the lab and being turned into shadow pokemon then we the trainers are being deprived of normal pokemon and since there is no such thing as the emera police (or any police in any pokemon game it seems excluding Officer Jenny and pokemon rangers that actually fight evil) who is to say we can't stop them. Also, you can refer to a real life mystery because this is a game, anything can happen. And for this event we dont need to theorize about what happened because everything is laid out in front of us in black and white (no pokemon pun inteded lol).

Also, the process in which a game doesn't always have to follow a predetermined plan for how that type of game works. Sure this is an adoptable website, but who is to say this can be the one website with a fun and innovative twist that will keep users active. If we keep users active then at least all the data on their accounts won't be wasted because I can assure you that even though this website has 65,000 registered users I extremely doubt that the majorities of those accounts still go onto PH. Then after these accounts are never used again and what good is that? Some people have their own reasons for not logging in to their accounts but I find a lot of people are leaving due to boredom. An event like this (and those that are yet to come) are what make people active here, not solely of course but I think it contributes greatly to how people view the site. And the people who left due to boredom; did they really enjoy their time here?

For some it may be all you need. But let's be honest, you enjoy the events that Riako makes for us and they mostly consist of that one repetitive thing; interacting with eggs/pokemon. If you look at my second last post, I said that this event would satisfy the need to interact while giving a story to why you are interacting rather than just interacting for the sake of it. And besides this is only an event its not like this will change everything, it will just add to the site and its list of things that you can do.

I noticed that if someone outbids you on an auction at the auction house and the auction ends you get your PD back but before that PH notifies you that you were outbid on the auction. I think when this notification appears it should return the money you used to bid on that pokemon and get rid of the "you lost" notification because if your PD is returned before the auction ends then the "you lost" notification has no purpose besides making someone feel crappy for losing. Also say someone outbid you on an auction and you don't have enough PD to re bid on that pokemon because the PD was still being held by the auction house. If you got the PD back after being outbid on an auction you can now re-bid on a pokemon by having your full sum of PD back.

Even though death and suicide isn't exactly canon what is canon is the abduction of children and seeing as how there is no conclusive way to actually solve what happened 10 years ago makes it worse because people can only theorize and not actually act on that plot. Think about it, if no one solved the mystery then those kids are still missing. My plot involves the abduction of eggs however in this plot you are able to take these eggs back and return them to normal which is a lot lighter than how dark the halloween event was.

And the so called "same old" is boring. After you beat the evil team in a story and after you collect every pokemon you want and battle a lot, what is there left to do? Pokemon X and Y for example was fun but it quickly became boring after the plot and all that was left to do was just collect more pokemon. Even the mini games and what not get boring after some time as well which is why they have to input new events and mini games all the time to keep people's attention and what I proposed will keep people entertained for at least some extent of time.

That is true that its not exactly a "peaceful". However I would like to point out that in the recent halloween event it talked about people being subject to horrifying nightmares and death if im not mistaken. If we can have that I am certain that we can incorporate this story. As for it being an adopt and breeding site my plot did include that mechanic by adopting shadow eggs and hatching them to purify them which satisfies the need for hatching and breeding. Also this in my opinion would jazz things up a bit (no miror B. pun intended) because even though its peaceful the things you do here can be a bit mundane and repetitive which is why riako adds these events in the first place. If there weren't any interesting events then who would want to be on here?

So how about this for plot. Shadow pokemon pose a threat to Emra town, pokemon eggs are being stolen and being developed into shadow pokemon for when they hatch. The only way to stop this is by defeating yet another head of the criminal syndicate Cipher and their shadow lugia. If this is the plot then a lot can be implemented like the map; the map can lead to Citadel Island like from pokemon XD gale of darkness. However obtaining the map can be by purifying a number of shadow pokemon as a task giving by professor rowan. Once the task of purification is finished Professor Rowan can say give you the map to Citadel Island which was located by his sources and that he would like you to take on the head of Cipher and their shadow lugia. and Finally if you succeeded in defeating the shadow lugia it could join your party so that it too can be purified if the trainer wishes to do so

I notice that a lot of people put up items in the auction house along with pokemon so I had the idea of an item search. It would function like the pokemon search that is already implemented in the auction house, however instead of pokemon a list of items that all pokemon in the auction house are carrying as well as the amount of items there are. After selecting an item it should give a list of pokemon arranged from which auction ends the soonest as per usual

I find it would be interesting to add music to areas in the game. For example the daycare could have a theme as could the royal tunnel. Also it would be even better if we could implement a way to play songs on our profile so that anyone who goes to your profile will hear the music of your choice ( kinda like tumblr)

Say you're making berries but then you decided that you don't want to turn that berry into a seed (for your own reasons). I think a cancellation button should be implemented into the seed maker so that people can change their mind as to how they wanna do things

So I'm thinking, why not try to get all berries? I think it would be an interesting idea to implement berry mutations into Pokeheroes to help get the more rare berries. The way it would work is if you grow 2 certain types of berries beside one another for a new berry like in the newer pokemon games.

I think it would be nice to be able to see the users who vote on the polls you setup because it would be a good way to know which of your friends (or friends to be, seeing as how randoms can vote as well) likes certain options from your poll. It would also be good to implement this because if someone picks an option that you like the best it could start new friendships between users over common ground

Alright so you all know how in Pokemon X & Y how you could customize your character right? Well I think that it would be awesome to implement a create your trainer feature into PH. You could start with genders then move onto skin colour but unlike X and Y you should be able to have more control over what your character looks like (within reason). Like how a Mii for the Wii or 3DS is created except with the clothing component that X and Y have.

Emra colosseum should be implemented into the town secetion. What it would be is a place where people go to battle one another, but what makes it interesting is that before the battle both players place an equal amount of PD and set it aside. The winner of the battle takes victory and all the PD that was set aside

So what I had in mind was a way to find a player you would wish to trade with and just be able to trade with them without having to go to the GTS to setup a trade and so that you can keep trading pokemon until one player does not wish to trade anymore

I would like to say a few things about the Darktober Mysteries as well. I will admit I too asked for help on the mysteries, as did most of the users here on PH. But I would like to point out that even though some people asked their friends on PH for help, I found a sense of unity in it. It was a good way to build a decent community on PH by trying to solve the mysteries with friends. However it is cheating, but I don't deem it bad like the people who just say the answers for some lucrative purpose or just spoiling the answers for everyone to see because in the end its only making the odds of winning the grand prize decrease. None the less I think that Riako shouldn't lose faith because its not fair to the users who didn't cheat or couldn't solve the mysteries due to level reasons. Also that is also to say, most people did appreciate Riako's efforts in making a good event. So please don't stop making good events because of bad people.
