Echo frowned, as he realized that the story she told had not been one he was expecting. He had expected perhaps she had died in a battle. Did this train of thought show he really was a child murderer, was he bad for thinking such a thing? He thought about Gale. He hadn't thought he had known anyone by that name, and he briefly wondered about his and Rose's first encounter. Had she blamed his district for Gale leaving, was she upset by him or his actions?
