Akuma leaned against the test chamber, watching the Mew stir. This was the best he could do until the cages were rebuilt. But he could be patient. At least the hard part was over

Dusk warped back to base, waiting outside to make sure everyone returned. That and to make sure his ‘brother’ hadn’t escaped capture.

The green aura faded from Dusk’s hand. His injuries were gone. Interesting... His stamina hadn’t diminished, his injuries had just made him feel tired. Did his body contain limitless stamina? Or did it just recover quickly? Questions for later.

He warped outside of the cave, taking a few breaths in order to surveillance the surrounding area. The outside looked like it had been torn asunder, rendering him slightly suprised at the resulting carnage from the earlier battle.

Gira muttered something to himself, as he clapped his wings and flew towards his cave. Turn back have existed in both dimensions, and was his home after all.

Dusk began to Recover. It was going to take awhile before fully recovering. He had taken quite the beating after all, getting more then he bargained for when he battled Flick. He felt... satisfied? He was still having trouble with figuring out emotions,

Akuma silently cursed himself for not bringing a communicator of some sort. He debated waiting for the others to finish, but decided against it. He was pretty fast in the air, and the base wasn’t to far away. He nodded to the rest of the shadows who weren’t busy “I’m taking this one back to base. I may return depending on the circumstances”

Dia shook her head at the child, in a bit of dismay.

Gira shook his head, sighing as he placed the barrels down “Kid, be lucky I’m not as violent as the legends for tell me to be.”

Dusk growled. They were at their limits. He could tell. This fight was over now, but... he stumbled over. “....Thank you for the match ‘brother’” with one solid strike, he rendered the other Mewtwo unconscious.

He picked Up Meka. That was one down. He saw that Dusk had handled Flick. He didn’t know why.... but Dusk unsettled even him. He shook lightly. He felt perturbed somewhat. But for now, Morrigan was dealing with the Dragon. Did that leave anyone who hadn’t fled by now?

Dusk managed to sidestep it. Most of his energy reserves were burnt though. Even his shoulder peice was sizzling. He fired off a Flamethrower. If he had control over his power, maybe he could have avoided wasting so much energy. This was no longer a battle of strength, just endurance

His body tended on instinct as Meka cane at him. When Meka made contact, he grunted, but didn’t shift. This was his oppertunity. He slammed a Dark Void into her side. He didn’t need to see her. She just needed to even try to make physical contact. This fight was over

Dia started to sputter apologies, and looked down to the smol bean “That was mean! Why did you do that?”

Gira gave the child a glare that’s made others regret every life decision they’ve made to have to meet up with him

Dusk fired the sphere. It was much weaker then all of his previous attacks, but it was most of his reserved energy. He came out of his Mega Burst state, panting heavily. He was even sweating lightly. The dimension around them began to crumble once more as he exited the form.

Akuma made track at the movements. At certain intervals he would launch a Dark Pulse in the direction of Meka. He was out of Shadow Balls now. He still had Dark Pulse, Sucker Punch, and a few more Dark Voids

Gira walked though the distortion, each of his 6 tendrils carrying a barrel of water “I should be able to look at it though my crystals. That cave does contain large pools of water.”

Every strike sent a sharp sting of pain. He cried out several times from each strike, his body convulsing as new cuts formed on his body. So this was pain.. the last strike sent him into the ground, a small crater like impact, he felt as if his body was burning. That didn’t matter now. He rose to his feet, pushing air into his lungs from the force of the impact. His body was exhausted, but he still had some power left in him. He gather his remaining power into his hands as he stared down flick, a cold determination in his eyes.

Akuma immediately sidestepped the bolt of electricity as it crackled by him. He fired a shadow ball in her direction but kept on gaurd. He would not let Meka win. But he knew letting his gaurd down, if for a moment would provide an opening. He was not going to get tased again so easily

“You suggesting.... I see. I can look into it when we get back.” Gira nodded as he opec a distortion with a flick of a hand. How strange is was. He was used to this now.

Dusk struck with all the force in his body. No gaurd, nothing would stand against this blow, as he skyrocketed into the stratosphere, Black Synergy gathering into a massive ball. “Dark... NOVA!” He threw the sphere at the planet panting slightly from excursion

Akuma didn’t move, he just listened, felt around him. The moment he was struck, his trap would trigger. Still, his eyes scanned the area. He would take no chances. Not with this one,

Gira now has several barrels next to him. Several trees were also missing. “Yeah. I think I’m ready. I’m going to have to create a distortion to get back though. Hopefully no one detects it.”

Dusk gazed calmly at his brother “........This energy... it burns like a fire inside me. I will not deny it. I can barely control it. Which is why I’m ending this... right now.” He charged forward, all of his immense power gathering.

This time Akuma managed to turn and block a great many of the attack. Aiming for his back was she? Well this just gave him an oppertunity to think of an counter he grinned tauntingly at Meka.

Dusk could only reply in one word “Burst.” His entire being was enveloped in orange. When the glow dies down, his hair had shortened a little, as his his tail. His clothes were now pitch black to match his hair, his orange eyes a simmering red. The shoulder peice was gone, replaced by a crystal jutting out of his shoulder. He moved like a bolt of greased lighting, throwing punch’s and kicks at a rapid speed each punch thrown methodically as well, attacking each part of flicks body, never staying in a constant pattern

Akuma shook his head “No matter where you run, no matter how you hide, you will not win this. I plan on correcting my mistakes, and it starts by not letting you flee.” He carefully looked at his surroundings. He knew not to underestimate Meka. As playful as she seemed, she was cleverer then she let on.

The pillar sub stained itself for a few more seconds. Dusk looked at his own hands, as if suprised at his power. He smiled. He felt the power inside him. This was nowhere near his limit . The sad truth for flick was that if he had managed to completely master his power, this battle would be long over. His body was adapting as he fought, his body was learning. His eye gleamed. *Miracle Eye*
