Chrome rolled her eyes. "Makes him easier to control. Put him down on the table." She gestured to a a large table with thick chains intended to hold ST33L3 down. Next to the table was a rolling cabinet with various surgical equipment and spare metal parts.

Pumpkin sniffed the air. "Yes, but it's very faint." He still looked ashamed of what he'd done, but didn't mention it.

Steele roared. It was terrifying, gut-wrenching sound, like a broken machine and a monster were combined. Various sparks flew from the area, and a lot of blood and snapped wires could be seen as he became unconscious.

Hearing Steele fall limp, Chrome rushed down. She opened the door cautiously, and looked at the broken area around his neck. "Bring him to the lab, now." She ordered Tazuli.

Steele managed to dodge the bullets. However, the chain around his ankle got caught in the bars, and he got tangled in it. He writhed around, trying desperately to get free. The more he struggled, the more he got stuck. Magnolia watched, scared of Steele.

Steele tried reaching further through the bars, still grinning maliciously. Magnolia wanted to stop him, but would rather just stay back and not get killed. She couldn't tell what he'd do, and it was honestly scary. Steele turned just as the bullet pinged off of his metal scales. He grinned again, and lunged forwards at Tazuli.

Steele lunged forward at the bars, his claws reaching for Gale, and a crazed grin on his face. Magnolia looked at him with wide and terrified eyes, unsure of what he would do.

Chrome had been listening to all of this, and decided that enough was enough when she heard Steele lunge at Gale. She grabbed her radio, and started talking to all of the other scientists. "S-T-3-3-L-3 is trying to attack one of the other Cyborgs, go FIX HIM NOW. Over." She shut off the radio, and continued listening to the dragons.

Steele glared at Gale maniacally. He flexed his claws, and looked a bit threatening and scary. Nobody could really tell what he was thinking, and that just made him seem even scarier.

"Depends on what grammar means......" Steele suddenly piped up, staring at the ceiling. He was always a bit of an oddball. He'd cut off what Magnolia was about to say, and she looked mildly annoyed at him.

Magnolia coughed to get Gale's attention, gesturing to her prosthetic arm. "Dragons. Plural." She said, snarling slightly, and had a slight hiss to her voice.

"You're just really passionate about hating them, I suppose." Magnolia said dismissively. "And a bit too hard-headed for your own good..." She added, muttering. Steele was still shredding the wallpaper.

Steele proceeded to place a small piece of wallpaper by everyone individually. Nobody really knew why, not even him. Magnolia shook her head, then looked at everyone else. "Eh, this place sucks. Good luck convincing HIM otherwise." She pointed to Gale, looking slightly annoyed still.

Steele looked over at Mos. It was hard to tell what he was thinking sometimes, because of his robotic features. He reached through the bars, and placed a piece of the wallpaper near to her. Magnolia was about to speak, but stopped, and just looked at him, incredibly confused. Steele seemed to look pleased at himself.

Ari glared at the man. She was still feeling salty about losing her scale, and feeling a bit sick about the realization that she could have died.

You, and the other Pantalan cyborgs, are gathered in the area which you have known for years. The floors are worn from the amount of times you have paced over and over again, taking the same steps, in the same room, in the same place.

Steele yawned. For a while now, his voice had sounded half-robotic, in its own strange way. He was fiddling with a strand of white wallpaper that had fallen to the ground, and was attempting to shred it into even smaller pieces.

Magnolia was watching Steele do this from her room with the other group 3 dragons. He'd always scared her a bit, even when he was still mostly a dragon. Yet she had a morbid fascination with these things. If she hadn't been turned into a cyborg, she would most likely have gone on to be a scientist. It was quite ironic, if you thought about it.

Meanwhile, at the secret hiding place for the 'old' cyborgs, Athena and Creek were still asleep. Athena had looked much happier since they'd escaped, sometimes her scales would even turn pink with happiness, yet she still held her wing over Creek in her sleep, protecting her. Creek was happier too, but otherwise stayed her shy self.

Ari was still cautiously examining the area missing the scale, even with the patches on it. She hissed loudly in the man's direction.

Ari was too distracted to listen. "AAAAAAAH! DO SOMETHING!" She tried covering it up, but just made her hands very dirty and red.

Ari sighed angrily. "ARGH! Just ARGH!" She shouted. She strode over, limping slightly, and looked at the scale. There was a tiny bit of blood on the end of it. "Wait, what?" She looked at the area the scale was from and loudly shrieked. "AAAAH! I'M BLEEDING! AAAAAAAAAH!" She shrieked, looking at the red liquid slowly oozing from the area.

Ari winced. "WHY DID YOU LET ME? ARGHHH!" She shouted in pain. She expected it to be a lot less bad, like a quick jolt of pain and then over. This was a lot worse.
