Atticus nods. No one's probably going to help him with it. They all have amazing abilities, and would probably want to have violence. He notices a girl he's never spoken to before shuddering and shaking and suddenly understands. Pelt hunters. She had a grudge, or was traumatized. He goes up to her and asks,"I'm looking for people to help me with Queen Lily's task, do you want to join me?"

Atticus smiled at the fact that there were no assigned teams, but he was too shy in asking others. He approached the headmistress."I do want to assist Queen Lily, but I'm not sure how. Is it all just negotiations? I could help with that, as my power isn't the best. And plus, my father might know her and I could contact him after this. But, I'm not sure if I can work well with others..."

Atticus straightens and walks out the door. He watched as kids went to the library and made a quick detour. He plucked five roses, all of rich color. He might need them. He walked to the library, surprised by its size. It smelled great, but he didn’t like reading, so it was no use. He was nervous, to say the least, about his mission. What if he got paired up with someone who might hurt him, like Rin? He sort of wanted to be paired with Cath, because he wasn’t sure if light shows could save lives, and he needed someone sane to go.

Atticus stopped. The rose in his fingers was limp and cold. He didn't like it when there wasn't an absolute answer, but it was better than he could've asked. Thunderbirds, or condors as he had read symbolized regality, but he felt lost and alone, and... he hated to admit it, scared. He caught up to Cath, "One more thing," he hesitated, "thank you for trusting me enough to admit Melvin's existence." He did a quick bow and turned. He ran off, thoroughly spooked.

Atticus's heart had lept into his throat,"{____}, you damn scared me." He knew he deserved it but still. He left the rose behind, it would be no use to him anyways. He went away, heart still pounding, but he knew that whatever would happen at this school, he wouldn't leave unscathed. But still, the favor he had given Cath, what if she told him to kill himself, or someone else? The thought made him shudder. The warm sun beat down on his face, but he still felt cold.

	Melvin? The name sounded somewhat familiar, though Atticus couldn't place his finger on it. Research and curses, Atticus was beginning to get a very bad feeling. Atticus was making his rounds in the rose garden as usual when he heard voices. Cath and Rin seemed to be talking to someone else but, he couldn't see anything. He stepped into their sight."Ladies, forgive me but, I need to grab a rose." He slipped one into his hand and walked out. When he walked out, he finally got a chance to look at the one he plucked. It was a wilting light pink. Terrible choice. He hadn't really payed attention, because the amount of power he felt in there was enough to cause him tremors of pain. He walked just out of sight, but still in earshot. If he got caught, then at least he'd see Reina again.

Atticus smiled back at Catherine and followed the group. He eventually decided to go to his now shared dorm. He was planning on changing when,"Damn." Guess they thought he'd look good in a maid's dress too. He walked out without changing and went to find a piano. He was pretty good at it, but needed a little bit of touching up. After some wandering, he found a quiet music room with sheets and sheets of music. He chose "Morning" by Peer Gynt. It was one of his favorites and he sat down to play. He pressed the damper pedal to keep it silent as well.
