shrike - named for his sleek light grey pelt, which reminded his mother of the feathers of a shrike. wood - for his unflappable, hardworking, honest, and practical nature. Age 27 moons Zodiac Taurus | Enneagram Type 1 | Personality Type ISTJ - The Logistician Ones are conscientious and ethical, with a strong sense of right and wrong. They are teachers, crusaders, and advocates for change: always striving to improve things, but afraid of making a mistake. Well-organized, orderly, and fastidious, they try to maintain high standards, but can slip into being critical and perfectionistic. They typically have problems with resentment and impatience. At their Best: wise, discerning, realistic, and noble. Can be morally heroic. We have named personality type One The Reformer because Ones have a “sense of mission” that leads them to want to improve the world in various ways, using whatever degree of influence they have. They strive to overcome adversity—particularly moral adversity—so that the human spirit can shine through and make a difference. They strive after “higher values,” even at the cost of great personal sacrifice. When Logisticians say they are going to get something done, they do it, meeting their obligations no matter the personal cost, and they are baffled by people who don’t hold their own word in the same respect. Combining laziness and dishonesty is the quickest way to get on Logisticians’ bad side. Consequently, people with the Logistician personality type often prefer to work alone, or at least have their authority clearly established by hierarchy, where they can set and achieve their goals without debate or worry over other’s reliability. Logisticians have sharp, fact-based minds, and prefer autonomy and self-sufficiency to reliance on someone or something. Dependency on others is often seen by Logisticians as a weakness, and their passion for duty, dependability and impeccable personal integrity forbid falling into such a trap. This sense of personal integrity is core to Logisticians, and goes beyond their own minds – Logistician personalities adhere to established rules and guidelines regardless of cost, reporting their own mistakes and telling the truth even when the consequences for doing so could be disastrous. The soothing view of the cerulean-clad ocean dully gave way to the towering monoliths and neon colors of the Capital of the locomotive neared its designated station. Apprehension knotted in her stomach as she caught a glimpse of the crowd that had amassed outside, their faces full of glee and excitement. They looked beyond ridiculous, like a flock of brightly colored birds. She could almost taste the delight in the air, the croon of the crowd somehow deafening even within the train car. Flashes of white light piercing through the dark tunnel made her jump, blinding her briefly. Cameras. Of course. The Quarter Quells tended to be rather ... monumental occasions worth remembering. She delicately raised a hand, reminding herself on the expensive posture that the wealthy wore like a glove, as though to wave, though she was really covering herself. Having isolated herself from the other tributes the moment she boarded; Adelaide didn't know what to expect from the rest of the group. A few stuck out to her as the most significant threats; Belladonna, known for 'accidentally' slipping fatal doses of venom into the drinks of those who displeased. Sorrento and Lakshmi, sirens who held the entirety of the capital's hearts and used them to their advantage. So far, she hadn't seen Vallo - one of her informants from eight, on the train. Had he even been reaped? If not, she'd adjust. There was no way that she could contact him if he was in his own district and she was in the arena. The rapping of Adelaide's feet gently from time to time marking the only movement, she waited in dead silence for her stylist. The only ‘seats’ they’d been allotted in this confinement, there was an absence of windows within this room, the solemn steel-grey walls blandly reflecting the artificial lights above. A bleak setting, for an even bleaker purpose. Chills whispered up and down her arms, which were still mutely burning from being roughly plucked of every hair a few moments earlier, leaving goosebumps in their wake. The opaque walls surrounded her on all four side, hiding her view of the other tributes who had been led off with their stylist teams. Her stylist team had always been rather off-putting, despite their giddy and frivolous demeanor. Perhaps it was because they too were an extension of the Capitol's voluminous wealth. In essence, it reminded Adelaide of many young children played with their dolls. Harmless, perhaps, but in the end, utterly useless. It was like adorning up a sheep for sacrifice. If the sheep was going to die, why bother? They'd have better luck dressing a corpse. At least then, they wouldn't be wasting their time. She scowled heavily. So far, the stylist team had trimmed and redefined her nails into perfect round half-moons, scrubbed her skin free of blemishes until she was pink, re-combed her hair, along with a bunch of other ridiculous things. It had been a blur really, just Adelaide stepping through the motions wearily, putting up very little fuss as they manhandled her in the name of beauty. Their firestorm of hisses at her rather chiseled appearance were ... vexing to say the least, but the fae ignored them as if they were flies in her ear, merely nodding along as they prettied her up. The Hunger Games were not a beauty contest, but according to Adelaide's notes, the best-looking tributes always pulled more stylists and somehow, seemed to live longer, if not by much. You could almost say that the fae used to feel a shred of regret more when she sounded their death cannons. Adelaide felt more than a little uneasy, her grim visage perfectly giving voice to the roiling turbulence she kept confined under a mask of bland innocence. And it wasn't just due to the fact that she hadn't eaten breakfast today. To be frank, the reaping hadn't quite set in for her yet, despite her vehement declaration of self-sacrifice at the reaping earlier. The fact that the Capitol was once again sending for their prime slaughterer to sate the bloodthirsty audience once more — no that wasn't surprising. Reputation precedes one in the business of politics, and the title of "Maledictus" — which apparently hadn't been granted in twenty years — was one that many from her district would wear with pride. But Adelaide wasn't like those who had been blinded by raw loyalty. And that was been set in stone. It was why she'd initially made the bargain that she did with Coin, despite being in the dark about the older woman's more ulterior motives. Tight lipped, straight backed formality was all Adelaide had presented. The fae was snapped out of her brooding when the door swung open, with not even a groan on its well-oiled hinges. Adelaide perked up at seeing a familiar face of bejeweling sapphire optics - only lightly decorated with a swirl of silver on the cheek and strawberry blond hair. Of course, they'd send Sarandiel to her, knowing that his tranquil presence would keep her temper soothed. "Oh, don't frown, Adelaide. It's not a good look on you." Sarandiel chided, his quiet, velvety murmured tones taking any harshness out of his words as he examined his chosen tribute. Giving her a quick once over, and not just in the manner in which an artist examines a blank canvas. Solicitous, almost — his eyes like candles in the night and yet gentle. He cast a meaningful look at the door, his polished visage crinkling up ever so slightly in a frown, "I'm sorry if Dionysus was being too rough again. I'll speak to him about it. For now, though, let's get you dressed. I took your request not to give you a dress this time." And get dressed she did, and true to his promise last year, Sarandiel had not brought a dress with him for her to wear on parade. No, what she wore was armor, tight fitting, beautiful yet not over the top. Adelaide had no doubt it could've been designed for a winged celestial maiden, judging by the coloring. The snow white scales accentuated with stormy grey overlapped like raven feathers, gleaming with cold resolution in the light. Cruel ebony talons crowned her knuckles on both hands, going down to cover her fingers. A slight fullness on her arms like a bird's tucked wing. And judging by the pride in Sarandiel's eyes, looking at her, she knew he'd designed it. Even wearing a pair of dangerous looking heels didn't dim her joy. A statement, if anything, of art. He left her pale hair in a braided bun. Whatever his goal was, there was no denying that Sarandiel had raised her spirits, and Adelaide was able to stand just that little bit taller when he escorted her like a knight to the chariots. Two handsome stallions stood in front of the chariot, necks held high by the draw reign, their well-groomed pitch black flanks practically gleaming in the light. Yes, we from District Two are mighty, she seemed to say. And we will not bow to the fist of the Capital. [Read more] |

Lakshmi didn’t know what to expect for this batch of Careers, but it wasn’t this. Having been among the first to approach the train station, she sat on the edge, analyzing the group that she had been landed with. Seamlessly ignoring the rest of the Career pack, she had been lounging within one of the private compartments for ages now, trying to avoid socialization at all costs. Yes, she knew that her overall reputation was more than a little camera-happy, but her charm-speaking was not on her agenda. Indeed, since talking about her previous years brought back memories she’d rather leave put back. The visions – of fire and ash and light burning away the woods with their bright, cruel fingers, the memories of the other tributes who’d been sent into to die screaming for mercy from fire’s merciless touch as they perished – left a cold tingling sensation that rushed up her spine, a bone deep chill that seemed to slip effortlessly past the fur lined jacket she currently wore. Making allies was not Lakshmi’s strong suit. After all, charisma only got so far, and if anybody had been watching her games, they knew that she was definitely not someone you wanted to trust. There wasn’t, however, another way of looking at it, this time she was going to need allies, and not just the witless, pampered, warrior brutes that called themselves careers. Bright grass-green optics swayed ever so slightly from the window pane that she had been so intently perusing since she had boarded the locomotive, jerking herself from the stupor that she had been lulled into by the locomotive. "Go on, introduce yourself. A sweetheart like you should have no trouble making friends. You're going to need them this time around." With a heavy sigh on her lips, escaping into the air like a mournful cloud of reluctance, Lakshmi swung her svelte sun-tanned legs from the ornate scarlet couch, prowling to the already open door. A blush colored her cheek rosy as several eyes immediately latched onto her. Reputation preceeds her clearly, yet she only had eyes for one singular siren, for whom she flashed a rather cheeky smile. "You can't really blame them, Sorrento." Lakshmi soothed, her dulcet tones wrapping the air in vernal bliss, an aura of comfort that openly defied the dreariness hanging over the train car like a shroud. "The first hours are always the hardest. You on the other hand, seem to be doing splendid, huh. Like always." [Read more] |

![]() ![]() signups "Panem et Circenses" Bread and Circuses. Every year since the Dark Days, which occurred 75 years prior, the Capitol hosts an event called the Hunger Games. The Games consist of a gladiatorial-style battle royal combat fought amongst twenty-four teenagers (tributes) aged 12–18, with one boy and one girl chosen by lottery from each district (except for District 13). This was known as the Reaping. The game is held to remind the citizens of the districts of their failed rebellion and the absolute power of the Capitol while simultaneously providing entertainment for the Capitol citizens. Also, every 25 years starting after the first Hunger Games, a special Games is held with a unique alteration of the rules. This is known as a Quarter Quell. ❝ Welcome back tributes! Today we gather here to celebrate our victors, inviting them to participate in one last game with us. As tradition demands, every 25 years we must host a Quarter Quell. Quells mark the anniversaries of the districts' defeat by the Capitol, and include special celebrations. These games are notoriously difficult, containing twists and turns, surprises around every corner! How exciting! If a district does not have a living male and / or female victor, a random citizen from that district will be reaped to take their place. So, without further ado, let us begin drawing the names for the fourth Quarter Quell! ❞ As the dreaded return of the Quarter Quell approached, victors may find themselves reliving the horrors of their last game. They must once again fight to survive for the mere amusement of the capitol. However, there are many who have had enough and are looking for an end to these games. Whispers of a rebellion have been sweeping through the districts. Will the victors light the spark it takes to end the games, or will the games get the best of these men and women, and lead them towards another battle of survival until one remains? [Read more] |

♡ - Character Name Lakshmi "Satin" Ruth Oisenburg | ♫ ♡ - Age 21 ♡ - Gender Female ♡ - Sexuality Panromantic/sexual ♡ - District District One ♡ - Appearance ♡ - Personality Lakshmi is a unique individual, with youth and an aura of the heavenly divine glowing like the petals of a freshly bloomed rose. She is famous in the capital for her entrancing beauty, with many people striving in vain to earn the favor of the Career. It is no surprise, then, that she was named after the Hindu goddess of wealth and beauty. On the surface, Lakshmi is nothing short of beguiling. A purr in dulcet tones whispers sweet nothings into your ear, caressing and handling your soul with utmost care while she wraps you around her finger. She appears to be a person who lives every day like it's her last, to the full and with a diplomatic, cheerful, if not elitist outlook on life. Incorrigibly flirtatious, no one - man or woman - is entirely safe from Lakshmi's coquettish attentions. Lakshmi is a witty, fearless, and intensely charismatic presence, a benevolent angel whom one can stand near and feel at ease and in awe. Lakshmi is more than willing to bring levity to stressful situations, pretending to be naïve and unassuming about the darkness and horrible atrocities. Her supposedly compassionate, gentle ways, combined with her angelic looks, will captivate your eye, enthrall your mind and hypnotize your soul. Underneath her glamorous facade, Lakshmi is somewhat cryptic, one whose hobby appears to be toying with one's emotions. Her cool, headstrong and lone-wolf nature has given her a rather mysterious reputation, as if you can never truly pin down who she is. Despite appearing to be kind and extremely young, Lakshmi is by no means naïve. She knows danger and a false alliance when she sees it. Instead of talking herself into a corner, she remains quiet and tense, observant and keeping herself out of trouble. ♡ - Alignment Chaotic Neutral ♡ - Strengths / Weaknesses Lakshmi is a person whom other people can relax around, whether its because of her silver tongue, dazzling good looks or melodious voice. Cleverly eloquent and kind, she breaks down ones inner walls as if they were butter, infiltrating the senses and calming the mind. It's well known that she's single, although there are rumors that half of the capital is currently pining after her presence. She can coax out the most well-guarded of secrets, using them like cards. Her eyes are nothing short of hypnotic, and it's well advised to look away before you get lost in them, something she uses to her advantage. Unfortunately, her time at the capital, and what was demanded of her, has forced Lakshmi into a horrible descent of narcissism and emptiness, the weight of her actions weighing heavily on her. Additionally, none of Lakshmi's flirtations are ... actually sincere. She doesn't enjoy the concept of being tied down to one specific person, and as such flits from one person to the next with no end in sight. ♡ - Lakshmi competed in the 93rd Hunger Games. ♡ - Known Family Micah Oisenburg [ brother ] ♡ - Password Cinna [Read more] |

Due to her many years as a Gamemaker (and also from binge-watching the games of previous years) – Adelaide has an almost uncannily intimate familiarity with the Games, and how the capital will make the games entertaining. However, Adelaide is not known for having brute strength, and can very well be overpowered if her opponent is bigger than her. ♡ - Known Family Kardia Pantazi [ girlfriend ] | Daenerys Manon [ adopted daughter ] ♡ - Other Victor of the 91st Hunger Games. ♡ - Other jobs Gamemaker. ♡ - Password Cinna ♡ - Life in the first arena ![]() Adelaide was selected to enter the
games by her Battlemaster, a past victor named Hannibal, when she
was 17 years old. The arena she was sent into — an abandoned
city — had very few resources, forcing the tributes to scavenge,
steal and kill on a daily basis. The
environment was dog-eat-dog. You either killed or was killed,
starved or stole what little food there was to steal. The
91st Hunger Games, in fact, was the shortest and the bloodiest
games, with ten tributes dying within the first three days.
Adelaide reluctantly allied with the Careers at first, deeming them
the only stable source of resources at the time. However, Adelaide
began to develop a relationship with a diminutive girl from
District 11, named Clementine Bates - the only surviving
non-career.
Originally sent to kill her, she remained largely unsuccessful, with Clementine wittily evading her on numerous occasions. Over time, their relationship transformed from enemies to rivals and even to allies. Clementine reminded her too much of Kardia, Adelaide's girlfriend back home. The two helped each other survive as the number of tributes dropped. At the end of the week, with just three Careers left, Adelaide discovered that someone had tipped off her hideout with Clementine, and tracked her ally to the horn. Clementine was not dead, though the brutalities were nightmarish, and she died in her ally's arms. Positively blinded by rage, bloodlust, and grief, Adelaide slaughtered the Careers in cold blood with unnerving ferocity, making the air ring with their screams for mercy. The deed done, Adelaide became hence known as Maledictus, the victor of the 91st Hunger Games. People mostly expected her to repent for her kills, to give some ounce of respect to the four careers she butchered, but that didn't happen. Adelaide allowed the deadly frenzy of brutality to continue, ruthlessly declaring that she would've done it again had she been given the chance without an ounce of remorse. Because nobody comes near what is hers. No one is allowed to take away those close to her. "A lion does not apologize after a hunt. I only pity it once it starves." ♡ - Capital Life ![]() Shortly after the 91st Hunger Games,
President Snow visited Adelaide's house in the Victor's Village.
Impressed by her killing instinct and ruthlessness, but already
having doubts about her loyalty, he conscripted her into becoming a
Gamemaker, holding Kardia at gunpoint in the process. Left with
little option, Adelaide agreed - but not for the reason one might
assume. He knew about her defecting from the Careers, but in making
her a Gamemaker, he had opened a new set of doors previously closed
to the victor. Given a new hand by an unwitting dealer, a new
insight into the Games themselves, Adelaide became the fox in the
henhouse
With self-loathing and calculation, she settled into her new life (which lasted up until the second reaping) - taking on the sobriquet White Fang. While Adelaide did not show the slightest bit of mercy as a Gamemaker, there is no denying that she began to favor certain tributes, allowing some to live while the rest perished. Keeping herself safely under the radar, Adelaide reached out in secret to victors and mentors, collecting intel, expanding her network of wraiths and spies. She is occasionally called down to do other more dubious jobs, such as assassination or spying, for wealthier, more heartless, clients. Well aware that she ran the risk of being forced into selling her body, Adelaide built up a callous and sharp-tongued personality, a woman known for her heartless acts. She hardly uses the money she receives as pay for herself, and instead sends it back home. Secretly, Adelaide is disgusted at her job and her weakness at being manipulated like a pawn on a chessboard, and vows one day to make the capital pay. ♡ - Inventory amulet [Read more] |

Adelaide - noble natured Nicknames Valkyrie, Val, Addie Age 25 Birthday January 3rd. Zodiac Capricorn Strengths: Responsible, disciplined, self-control, good managers Weaknesses: Know-it-all, unforgiving, condescending, expecting the worst Capricorn is a sign that represents time and responsibility, and its representatives are traditional and often very serious by nature. These individuals possess an inner state of independence that enables significant progress both in their personal and professional lives. They are masters of self-control and have the ability to lead the way, make solid and realistic plans, and manage many people who work for them at any time. They will learn from their mistakes and get to the top based solely on their experience and expertise. Saturn is the ruling planet of Capricorn, and this planet represents restrictions of all kinds. Its influence makes these people practical and responsible, but also cold, distant and unforgiving, prone to the feeling of guilt and turned to the past. They need to learn to forgive in order to make their own life lighter and more positive. Gender Female Sexuality Bisexual Appearance Good image can be found here Personality Adelaide is a true force to be reckoned with. She's stoic, direct and utterly frigid, seemingly radiating a cold hate for everyone and everything around her. Emotionally closed off and wickedly calculating, holding her cards close. A strong-willed individual, she isn't fazed easily by what others think of her. And if she has to get down and dirty, she sure as hell wil. Her calculation leads her to think minutes, or even hours ahead of her opponent. Things are laid out from the moment she wakes up to the moment she sleeps. Adelaide knows her value and what she's worth in her family, to the point of vanity. To be frank, her exterior was molded and shaped by her family and highblooded lineage. The House of Manon can be traced back to the first soldiers in the war that sided with the Capital, making them one of the most pure lineages in the district. To her, that translates to a certain greatness, an ambition and arrogance that is visible in all her actions. Adelaide is a perfectionist, a disciplined individual who knows what she wants, and who she is willing to manipulate in order to achieve her goals. She buries her emotions under cold animosity. She is a brutish individual, meaning she is solemn, forceful, and by-the-book pragmatic. Adelaide does not discriminate on her methods, even if they are rather extreme. She's extremely dedicated. However, under her tough exterior, she is capable of displaying fondness and affection for those close to her. Adelaide is a passionate lover, but there is no trading her cold exterior for honeyed words and alluring charm. Her training in District Two has led her to become a cold, troubled, and aggressive person who shoots first and asks questions later. She is not one to waste time on petty nonsense or youngsters for that matter. To add on to her prickly exterior, Adelaide makes good use of cynical words and misanthropic jokes, not mincing words in favor of honesty, especially if her humor comes at the expense of her enemies. This has led to poor social skills over the years. She prefers actions over words, taking her orders in stride and executing them with finesse. As a result, people usually find it difficult to get along with the victor, leading her to become somewhat of a loner, only interacting with others when it is necessary. As an individual that lacks in the social department, Adelaide is blunt and judgmental, even with the polite words she uses. Not only is it hard for her to open up, but her analysis of the logical makes her terribly insensitive. After the arena, very few things can truly bring out any sort of horror or empathy within her, and as such, she tends to make rather calloused remarks. Her calculating and ruthless nature can find no better expression in a fight. As a person who is always thinking two or three steps ahead of her opponent, she can decipher with ease how to manipulate her opponent into gaining victory. This hidden trait has become more apparent in her time as a Capital rose. However, when negotiations fail, this is a woman who is not afraid to rip her opponents into shreds. Literally. She is an intense force in the Capital, and a formidable warrior on the battlefield. Alignment True neutral. Relationships It is not easy to win over the attention and the heart of a Capricorn, but once their walls break and their heart melts they stay committed for a lifetime. Their with other signs can be challenging due to their difficult character, but any shared feeling that comes from such a deep emotional place is a reward for their partner’s efforts. Shown sensitivity comes through acts rather than words, and years are often needed for them to open enough to chat about their actual emotional problems. Kardia Pantazi [ wife - alive - profile ] Adelaide's scarlet scorpius, dear wife, first love, and equal badass in every way. Adelaide and Kardia, when you first look at them, don't seem like they would be lovers. Or friends. No, they look like enemies. And rivals was what they were when these two first met. But as the expression goes - opposite's attract. Kardia is the one whom challenges and supports Adelaide (in her own way) - and truthfully she can't be more grateful for that, especially in such a cruel world.
