As the moon gleams, I look out the window. It's 11:06 PM. I'm sitting in my room, writing away in this journal. My brother, Flamer, is sitting on the bed. Another day, another 24 hours away. Flamer crouches silently next to me, reading what I've written. I can smell the tangerine he ate for dessert, the adorable little nose wrinkling as he sees what I've written. I brush him away and move to the bed. He yawns something about wanting to go to sleep, but I ignore him. Since the day I recieved that scholarship, I've been thinking about my friends... my classmates, my family... my crush. I wonder what he would think.
